Souske, a 17 year old bye gets reincarnated into another world where Magic, Knights and Dragons co-exist, as he aspires to live a peaceful and happy life his old world failed to do. But nothing every goes to plan.
"Why, why can't my life be filled with more light and happiness," Souske says to himself, lost in thought.
The day begins with Souske, a 16 year old boy living in the outskirts of Shibuya. His eyes awoken, filled with sadness, as he rises from his slumber. A room so gloomy, there's hardly any light to shine in, curtains closed, with hardly any furnitures.
After taking a bath, he picked up his uniform as he prepares to head to school. "Good morning Mom," he says silently, as he stares down at his mom, all drunk with several bottles and trash lying around the ground.
"Uuggghhh... Souske, morning," grunting as she speaks.
"You're drunk again, I thought I told you not to drink anymore ".
"I'm sorry, I just can't help it. Where are you going?".
"School".
"Oh, that's right. Did you eat?".
"The leftovers from yesterday".
"Alright. Do you have some money with you?, wait, let me check if i...," she picks up her purse. "This is strange, uh, I thought I had..., where is it," she searches her purse, confused.
"It's okay, I still have some money with me, I'll be on my way now".
"Alright, have a nice day".
He closes the door, knowing he had lied about having any money with nor had he have any breakfast yet.
