39 Rei, Titan Number 13

~Sigh~

Konstantin who just sighed looked around him and then turned at Abrat and said to him, "Hey Abrat, I'm bored. We've been waiting for an eternity here and yet Olenna and the others still didn't appear. Let's just choose a door and try the second test".

Abrat: ".....We wait".

Konstantin: "Argh, Say something else man. I already hate those two words".

Wanda: "Come on Sir Konstantin, it's only been five minutes and you're already acting all rash. We need to wait for the others".

It's been five minutes since Konstantin and his group reached the second level doors and they have been sitting and waiting for Olenna and her group to catch up with them but they still didn't appear at all.

Many people have already come after them and chose a door but they're the only ones who didn't choose. Even Seath came after them and ignored them while choosing a door and opening it as he also chose door number eight again and for the second time, the door disappeared as it only needed one challenger.

Konstantin became more annoyed as he hated the idea of waiting and doing nothing so he took his sword out and went to a corner while swinging his swords one time after another. Everyone sighed and also started doing their own thing while waiting for Olenna and the others.

"Always the same Konstantin. Whenever you get bored, you go back to your sword and try to drown yourself in the training to forget your surroundings".

As Konstantin heard the voice that spoke to him, his whole body became numb. It was like everything working in his body stopped and couldn't do a thing anymore but that was only for a fraction of a second.

*Swoosh*

Konstantin didn't even think for a millisecond as he swung his sword towards his right as it was the place from where he heard the voice.

*Clang*

Konstantin's sword who went right hit the sword of another man who wore a black robe that hid his face and body. The others who saw Konstantin fighting someone immediately drew their weapons ready to fight.

Konstantin already became angry as he started swinging his sword towards the man while the mysterious man continued to evade the attacks. The man who saw the angry face Konstantin kept showing made him smile even more showing his white teeth under the black hood while commenting, "Why do you always fight me each time we meet Konstantin. Am I not your best friend?".

*Woosh*

Abrat appeared in front of both Konstantin and the black-robed man and immediately used his dagger going for the man's head. The man this time didn't try to evade but immediately jumped back and created some distance between them.

Konstantin and Abrat didn't want to let him have some rest as they followed him and tried to attack him again but then they sensed something coming towards them and retreated towards the corner.

They then saw two arrows made from water hitting the place where they were at. Wanda and Nolan and Alexia then came and joined the other two.

Wanda: "Sir Konstantin, Mister Abrat, What is going on? Who is attacking us?"

the black-robed man who heard her started laughing and said, "You're mistaken, little girl. It's not me who attacked first, remember? Konstantin here attacked me and Abrat helped him so it's them who ganged up on me".

Everybody looked at Konstantin as they became puzzled because of how the man spoke to him. the tone that the black robed man used to speak with Konstantin gave the impression that he was talking with him like talking to an old buddy and so they didn't understand Konstantin's reaction.

Konstantin, who lost his composer earlier calmed down and a cold experession appeared on his face as he looked at that man as all the anger he felt became hidden and then he spoke with a very cold tone.

"Rei, you're the one they brought here. I can't believe that my prayers have been answered. They gave you this mission just as I wanted although I don't think I needed to pry cause I'm sure your greediness would've brought you hete".

The black-robed man, named Rei didn't seem to care about Konstantin's comment and just smiled under the hood then he held the black robe and throw it away as he showed his true identity and face.

The man has dark skin and black hair. He has a blue tattoo around his left arm and shoulder. He's wearing black armor gloves with a blue gear symbol in them. The gloves are of very good quality. The guy even has shoulder armor around his right shoulder.

He wears a white shirt and has a black long vest tied around his waist. The vest hid his black armor legs that have golden knee guards. His lower body is completely armored and didn't seem to have any openings from outside.

Some of the challengers who also came noticed the fight between Konstantin and Rei and looked curiously at Rei's half armor and seemed very interested in it. Although it was just only the lower body, it is still looked cool. Rei still put a long vest around his waist and hid the lower body armor.

Wanda: "I don't understand. I don't recognize him at all. Who is this man? Why did Sir Konstantin look so angry towards him earlier and why is this guy talking to him like he's talking with his friend".

Konstantin: "....."

Rei who saw how Silent Konstantin became, smiled, and then said, "Yeah, Konstantin. you too Abrat, why don't you tell her? Who am I?".

Suddenly, Konstantin spoke while turning and looking at Wanda and pointing his finger at the man, "He's Rei Dimas, One of the nameless Titans. He is the 13th one among them and also the guild master of the black Dimas Sect, one of the fifteen 1st grade organization in the black market alliance".

The moment Konstantin uttered those words, almost everyone had their jaws dropped because if the identity of the man. Some of the other contestants who heard that even started running away.

Rei looked at Konstantin and smirked as he said, "You still don't like to give me a proper introduction but it doesn't matter. I'm not here today to fight you but to get the inheritance".

Hu Zhao: "Oh, another titan again. to be frank, I'm shocked this time because I never thought that it just took a peak martial Overlord (Rank-3 Master warrior) level to be called a titan. I should've joined them when they proposed that to me two hundred years ago".

Both Aiden and Dian Long who were near him felt a little bit surprised and then asked him.

Aiden: "They asked you to join them and become a Titan?".

Hu Zhao: "Not exactly but yeah. It was back in my younger days when a weird sect called Order of Odium came to me and asked me to join their ranks. It's a 1st-grade organization and number five within the black market alliance. It was one of the vice-leaders who came and asked me to join. Dian Long: "You never told us about it".

Hu Zhao: "It didn't really matter since I refused their offer. the problem was that the guy tried to kill me and he almost did hahaha. I was weaker than him at that time so I wanna meet him again and try to teach him a lesson although He must be a Saint by now if he's still alive hahaha".

Dian Long: "You're crazy if you want to fight him again".

Hu Zhao: "Hahaha, thank you. I consider that a compliment. I was young at that time and did everything as I liked".

Aiden looked at Hu Zhao and how nonchalant he looked while talking about one of the nameless Titans. Dian Long also never expected his friend to be this brazen.

To refuse someone from the top five organizations of the black market alliance was like a death sentance and even more, one of the vice-leaders of that Sect then you must either be crazy or have some big bal*s.

Aiden: "Well, for now. Let's just see what is going to happen and if something bad happens, we'll just stop the trial".

Rei who didn't seem to care about the trial at all looked at Konstantin as he tried to make him show any emotion but unlike the previous one where he showed anger, Konstantin's face was calm and didn't show anything. It even became colder.

"We're not friends. You're the one I want to take revenge on. I searched for you for the last thirty years but it seems that fate is on my side and delivered you right to me".

"Ouch. You know, you're hurting me very much. I remember the day when we first met. You had that excitement inside you that could make you challenge the whole world but now, sigh. look at you now, It disappeared completely. What a waste".

Abrat didn't try to talk as he looked at both of them and then turned at the other challengers who just stood there and looked at them. He then started using a bit of mana pressure as the air around them became heavy and Abrat just said a few words.

"Leave and move on to your challenge".

Everyone who felt the immense power behind those words immediately went towards the doors and didn't bother looking at Konstantin and Rei.

Rei smiled and then started walking past Konstantin, Wanda, and the others as he smiled and then said, "It must be hard you know. Me standing in front of you while not being able to kill me".

Konstantin then showed a smile as he said, "Don't worry. Once I finish this trial, I will deal with you and make sure to finish you once and for all".

Rei evilly laughed as he walked away as his voice reverberated in everyone's ears, "Hahaha, I can't wait for that moment to come. I will also make sure to torture you just like I did to your wife".

Konstantin didn't answer this time but he started clenching his hands so hard that his nails pierced his hand palm and blood started dripping into the ground.
