43 Interesting Man

Aiden and the blue-robed person faced each other in front of the city east entrance. Aiden noticed that the person covered his whole body and so you couldn't see either his face or discover his gender or anything. On the other hand, the blue-robed person didn't say anything and just looked at Aiden who didn't like the feeling of silence while they were in right between the city and the forest so he was the first to speak.

"So are you going to stand there while staring at me. Oh, If you're a fan of mine then you can just ask for my signing because I really don't like this kind of akward atmosphere and before that, answer my question first. How did you get here and escape the magic aroud the island?".

The blue-robed person still didn't say anything and just looked at Aiden. Suddenly, Aiden noticed the red ring on his left hand and then looked back at the blue-robed person. The ring started glowing a little and after that two steel chakrams appeared out of nowhere.

Aiden looked at the chakrams and became a little curious since most of those who use these weapons are assassins. The Chakrams are circular with a sharpened outer edge with a diameter of 30cm for each one. It also has in the middle a brown handle from where you can hold the weapon. Finally, It has a very tiny stone around the triangular end edge. The stone is deep blue and made the weapon more beautiful.

The mysterious blue-robed person took a battle stance and prepared himself for the attack.

Aiden didn't care that much even when he saw the steel chakrams materialize in the blue-robed person's hands. The sudden appearance of weapons only made him more curious about the goal of this person. but not worried at all.

"Alright, I see we're taking this in a different direction," Aiden remarked, his tone tinged with a mix of boredom and disinterest. "If you're not going to answer my questions, then perhaps we'll find some answers through combat."

Aiden tightened his grip on his Axe, ready to defend himself if necessary and waiting for the assasin to make the first move.

Aiden's mana started surging through his body, illuminating his surroundings with a soft glow. His body started changing as his body started growing and his height went up while his muscles kept bulging more. took a step forward, prepared to engage in battle with the mysterious figure.

The blue-robed person remained silent, their face still concealed by the hood of their robe. They twirled the chakrams expertly in their hands, a display of proficiency and confidence. Their silence only fueled Aiden's determination to unravel the enigma standing before him.

As Aiden's body transformed and his mana surged, the atmosphere crackled with anticipation. The mysterious blue-robed person seemed unfazed by Aiden's transformation, their gaze fixed on him with unwavering focus.

Without warning, the blue-robed person swiftly launched themselves forward, chakrams spinning through the air. Aiden's reflexes kicked in, and he deftly sidestepped the incoming assault, narrowly avoiding the lethal blades.

Aiden retaliated with a powerful swing of his Axe, aiming to catch the blue-robed person off guard. But to his surprise, they gracefully evaded his attack with a series of agile maneuvers, their movements akin to a well-practiced dance.

The duel escalated, with Aiden using his augmented strength and size to his advantage. He swung his Axe with tremendous force, creating shockwaves that reverberated through the battlefield. Each strike was met with equal agility from the blue-robed person, who demonstrated remarkable speed and precision.

The clash of weapons echoed through the surrounding landscape as the fight intensified. Aiden's Axe collided with the chakrams, producing sparks that illuminated the tension between them. Their movements were a blur of calculated strikes and evasive maneuvers, both combatants pushing their limits.

Aiden observed the blue-robed person's style, seeking weaknesses or patterns that could aid him in gaining the upper hand. But they remained elusive, their attacks and defenses seamless and unpredictable. It was as if they anticipated his every move, countering with uncanny accuracy.

Aiden suddenly noticed that one of the chakrams were missing from the person's and then he noticed something coming from behind him and he tilted his head rightward. but it still scratched his left cheek.

Aiden's realized the blue-robed person's strategy. They had used themselves as distracon and threw one of the chakrams behind him allowing them to almost land a swift strike on his head. Aiden felt a stinging sensation, and a trickle of blood ran down his face.

Despite the surprise attack, Aiden's determination remained unwavering. He wiped the blood from his cheek, a fierce glint in his eyes.

"Very well",Aiden responded, his voice laced with a mix of admiration and a bit of anger "If you seek a dance, then I shall oblige."

Aiden focused his energy, summoning even more mana from his Axe to surge through his body. Right now is night so he could only use the mana he stored in Rhitta to fight back and get more power but he can only stay for at most half an hour if not less because he didn't master the way to store a lot of mana so he had to end this battle early.

His transformation intensified, his muscles bulging further, and his aura radiating with raw power. With renewed vigor, Aiden lunged forward, his Axe slicing through the air with a resounding force. He unleashed a series of lightning-fast strikes, each blow imbued with the magic energy that coursed through his veins creating fire slashes.

The blue-robed person met his onslaught head-on, their movements fluid and precise. They expertly parried Aiden's attacks with their remaining chakram, each clash sending sparks flying in every direction.

'This person is a rank-2 Master Warrior! just like Lyssia. Seems something fishy is going on for someone strong like this being here', Aiden thought while attacking the blue-robed person.

The battle between them escalated into a dazzling display of skill and power. Aiden's enhanced strength and speed matched the blue-robed person's agile evasions and lightning-quick counters. Their weapons clashed, the sound reverberating through the air as they danced around each other, locked in a deadly embrace.

Time seemed to blur as the clash continued, their skills pushing each other to their limits. Aiden's relentless assault combined with the blue-robed person's uncanny reflexes created a mesmerizing spectacle, captivating anyone who might have been watching.

As Aiden kept rising the strengh and magic of his attacks, the blue-robed person, showed signs of being pushed to their limits. Their defenses faltered slightly, and Aiden seized the opportunity. With a mighty swing, his Axe struck true, colliding with the one of the chakrams, causing it to shatter into pieces with resounding clash sound that echoed through the battlefield.

The blue robed person got thrown away from the shock of the strike and even some parts of his robe got burned. He colided with one of the buildings and destroyed its wall.

As the blue-robed person crashed into the building, Aiden stood his ground, his breathing heavy but determined. He knew he had a limited amount of time left in his transformed state, and he needed to end this battle quickly.

With a burst of speed, Aiden closed the distance between himself and the fallen figure. He raised his Axe high, preparing to deliver another blow. But just as he was about to strike, a voice suddenly echoed through the air.

"Interesting. You're very interesting, Aiden. So you call yourself the lion Sin of pride. If a friend of mine was here right now and heard you say this, he would've killed you right now at this moment".

Aiden heard the voice coming behind him and turned towards it. He looked around and then his eyes landed above at the roofs of one of the buildings where he saw the shadow of a man. The moon was behind him while he was wearing a black robe and smiling at Aiden.

The black robe then started disolving like a shadow and entering the man's body. Aiden was finally able to see the man's appearance.

The man had short, black hair and sharp, deep black eyes that gave the impression of looking into the abyss. His features exuded an air of confidence and intelligence. He wore a distinctive attire that reflected a combination of darkness and power. A red chest armor, reminiscent of blood, covered his torso, while a long, flowing dark robe draped around him. Dark boots and gloves adorned with intricate red wing patterns completed his ensemble. He also sported shoulder armor in a deep blue shade, with fur accents adding a touch of ferocity to his appearance.

As he stepped forward, his presence commanded attention, and Aiden could feel a palpable aura of strength emanating from him. There was an air of enigma surrounding this man, leaving Aiden even more intrigued and cautious.

What was also striking was the formidable dark spear firmly grasped in his hands. Its presence was truly striking, with a deeply curved obsidian spearhead accentuated by a sleek grey blade edge. Every inch of the spearshaft was adorned with intricate engravings, veiled in an aura of mystery. What truly captivated the eye, however, was the mesmerizing sculpture of a winged dragon that elegantly connected the shaft to the spearhead.

This weapon exuded an undeniable aura of power, leaving little doubt as to its formidable nature. Yet, what truly astonished onlookers was the presence of a black jewel nestled within the spear, displaying the distinctive number 14. This insignia bore witness to the spear's lineage, indicating its status as one of the legendary divine weapons crafted by the esteemed Saint blacksmith.

Aiden's eyes narrowed as he observed the man, his instincts telling him that this encounter was far from ordinary. The air seemed to crackle with tension as the two locked eyes, each sizing up the other.

"Who are you?" Aiden demanded, his voice filled with a mixture of curiosity and caution.

The man chuckled, a sly smile playing on his lips. "I am Damien Reiss a member of the first guild in the alliance of the great fifteen dark guilds" he replied, his voice smooth and resonant. "I've been keeping a close eye on you, Lion Sin of Pride. Your power and potential are intriguing, to say the least."

Aiden's grip tightened on his Axe, his muscles tensing. He couldn't shake off the feeling that there was more to this encounter than met the eye.

"What do you want from me?" Aiden asked, his voice tinged with suspicion.

Damien's smile widened, and he leaped down from the rooftop, landing gracefully in front of Aiden. The blue-robed person, who had now recovered, stood beside him, their gaze fixed on Aiden with a mix of curiosity and caution.

"I have a proposition for you, Aiden," Damien said, his eyes gleaming that made Aiden see him as even more suspicious. "Join us, and together, we can bring about a new era of power, order and freedom to this world".

Aiden's eyebrows furrowed, his mind racing with conflicting thoughts. The offer intrigued him, but he couldn't ignore the nagging feeling that Damien's intentions might not be as noble as they seemed.

"Let me guess, you wanna be the one to rule it after you bring this new order to the world" Aiden retorted, his voice laced with sarcasm.

Damien chuckled again, his demeanor unphased by Aiden's sarcasm. "Of course. After all that would be my reward for saving the world. Because of my ability to operate in the shadows that I can bring about true change," he replied. "I have seen the corruption that plagues this world, the injustices committed by those in power. Together, we can dismantle the old order and forge a new one, where strength and justice reign."

Aiden's mind raced as he considered Damien's words. The allure of power and the promise of justice tugged at his heart. After all, He was the embodiment of the sin of pride. the thoughts suddenly stopped as he felt a sudden surge of mana from his weapon.

Aiden eyes shined for a second as if clarity returned to him, and he started thinking rationally again. He looked at Damien and said, "Just now, you were using a hypnotize magic, right?"

Damien who kept smiling the whole time stopped and looked diffrent this time, "Oh so you were able to discover that huh. It was worth trying to see if I could trick you and see your true self. I must say, it almost worked".

"Hmph, You almost tricked me. I guess you're the one behind the magic able to escape Charles attention too", Aiden said while his containing a tone of anger as he felt ashamed being easily tricked with magic.

Damien continued speaking, " Well, you can't put all the effort on me. Charles was too occupied with the participants and his so called "passing legacy" that he didn't pay that much attention to the island protection. Even after all these years, my old friend is still the same person".

"old friend? you're a friend of Charles? It doesn't matter. Looking at that assassin standing beside you means he's your follower, right?".

"You mean Tina? Yeah, she might be injured very much. I would like to help her but I will deal with you first. Besides, she has a bag full of healing potions and pills so she'll be okay".

Aiden stared at him like he was looking at an idiot and then turned to look at the assassin who was abandoned by her boss. Aiden was a little surprised that the assassin was a woman but he didn't care that much. He needed to concentrate on dealing with this guy right now.

Aiden looked at Damien and then rushed towards him preparing to strike him with his axe, 'I have four minutes before I become completely useless so I need to use all my power to deal with him and then return to the tower and tell Charles about these intruders but for now.....'

Aiden appeared in front of Damien that just smiled and didn't say or do anything. Aiden prepared himself to strike with all the magic power remaining in Rhitta. But the blow never connected. Aiden who was about to hit Damien suddenly fell to the ground as he couldn't understand why he couldn't move. He then felt a huge weight on him and that Rhitta suddenly became way heavier and he couldn't hold it at all.

"Argh, what is happening here! why can't I...why did my body return to normal? impossible, I should have energy left to fight for more time".

Damien smirked, his eyes glinting with satisfaction. "Impressive, isn't it?" he taunted. "You see, you're not the only one in the world who has a unique divine ability. My divine ability gives me the power nullify all types of magic including unique ones like yours. Your power is useless against me."

Aiden's frustration grew as he struggled against the invisible force that held him down. He felt a sense of helplessness, realizing that his strength and mana were ineffective in this situation.

"You see, Lion Sin of Pride, your arrogance and reliance on your power have become your downfall," Damien mocked. "But don't worry, I won't kill you just yet. I have something else in mind for you."

Aiden gritted his teeth, his mind racing for a way to escape this predicament. He couldn't let himself be defeated so easily, not without a fight.

"What do you want from me?" Aiden demanded, his voice laced with defiance. "Why go through all this trouble?"

Damien's smile widened, his gaze fixated on Aiden. "I've already told you, I want you to join us," he replied. "You possess incredible power, and with our guidance, you could reach unimaginable heights. Together, we can reshape the world and bring about a new era."

"You're an idiot if you think I'll get tricked twice with your magic. I will never join you or your dark emo club" Aiden declared, his voice filled with pride.

Damien's expression turned serious for a moment, his eyes narrowing. "Very well," he said, his voice cold and calculated. "If you won't join us willingly, then you leave me no choice. When they get back, I'll tell them that I tried."

Without warning, Damien raised his dark spear, the black jewel embedded within it emanating a foreboding aura. He took a step forward, and stroke Aiden down with all his power while saying, "Your pride makes me remember something I don't want to recall at so I will make sure to finish you right here. I also wanna punish you for hurting Tina so goodbye Aiden.....or should I say Zerafill".

Aiden's mind raced as he tried to comprehend Damien's words. "Zerafill? That's not my name," Aiden protested, his voice filled with confusion. He struggled to break free from the weight pressing down on him, but his efforts proved futile.

The spear went right through his right back creating a gaping hole in hiw body while some of the buildings fell into the hole created by damien's strike that Aiden fell into. Damien who was looking at the scene of the unconcious Aiden falling and said, "Goodbye, Sin of pride. Now, I have a good reason to say your shard soul got killed in the middle of the battle". Damien went with Tina again and moved towards un unkown location.
