2 Missing You

It's late at night and I was still sitting in my windowsill looking outside. Waiting for something, someone. I was wearing my thin nightgown and I can feel the cold breez of November biting my skin, but I pay no attention to it. I am focus on the close gate of our house. I am lost in my thoughts when I heard the opening of the gate and the noise of the car engine as it drives closer to the garage. I stand up from my position and race down the stairs to the door, just in time for it to open, revealing a tall handsome man in his early 30s, with a beautiful lady in his arm with his coat on her shoulder. His cold eyes raked over my body, and I can feel his irritation by the way he pursed his lips and the frown forming in this eyebrows.

" Babe, who's she?" ask the lady in his arms, tugging it gently.

" No one important " he answered coldly.

I tried to fight back my tears that's threatening to fall and shoved the sob that almost choked in my throat.

" Did you have dinner yet?" I ask trying to control the shaking of my voice.

Before he could answer, the chirping voice of the lasy answered my question.

"Not yet, but we will have our dinner in the bedroom. Right babe?"

"Mmhm, you will be my dinner" he answered her gently before turning his cold gaze to me " Don't disturb us". Then they turn their back on me as they headed to the second floor where the master's bedroom is located.

I, on the other hand, run the one of the guestrooms found in the first floor and look myself inside.

I lay myself in the bed, crying my eyes out as I think of my husband in the arms of another woman in our own bedroom.

"I hope there's another life where we can be together ", that's the last thing that floats in her mind as she drifted to sleep.
