Akira stood in front of the Hokage finally ready to be the official ninja of the Hidden Leaf.

"Akira-kun, you have done quite a bit in these months and shown great capabilities. I think for that you are fit enough to be a Special Jonin."

Akira pondered a bit. 'Special Jonin, huh? Not too high but not too low ranking.'

Akira was not like before now, after becoming the leader of Root he had become more smarter and cunning. He knew that the Hokage feared him and that is why he knew that the Hokage didn't give him to low of a ranking but not too high as well.

'His paranoia is well founded. After all, I did kill Danzo. I was really lucky that Anko was in TI department since the interrogation I was put in was rather... nice.'

Akira thought as the last part got him blushing since Anko kept flashing her private parts at him.

"Thank you, Hokage-sama." Akira bowed.

"Now, it might be a bit of a sudden but I have a mission for you." Hiruzen said calmly looking at the young man in front of him sharp gaze.

Akira raised his eyebrows. "Mission?"

"Yes, you will be going on a very important mission. The details will be given to you by the one who will be going with you on it. You are to go on your mission tomorrow. The person accompanying you will meet you at the main entrance gate of the village tomorrow at 8 in the morning."

"I understand. Is that all?"

"Yes and here take this headband." After taking the headband from Hiruzen, Akira left thinking about what tomorrow's mission was going to be.

Akira looked at the shallow space in the corner with narrowed eyes.

'So... it seems I have gained their attention somehow.'

(Scene Skip)

"Itachi, Kisame, the target is currently assigned to a mission. He will be leaving tomorrow." Zetsu reported to the duo but Zetsu was shaking in fear.

Itachi and Kisame looked at Zetsu peculiarly. "Did something happen, Zetsu?"

Zetsu tried to calm down but was failing at it.

'How can a mere human make me feel this way!? I am the will of my almighty mother! There is no way these pathetic humans could make me feel fear!'

Akira had used his Killing Intent combined with his mastered Genjutsu. Akira planned on exterminatong the pest with the pressure of his Killing Intent but Zetsu somehow managed escape like the pest he was.

"There's nothing wrong. I need to go now."

Zetsu quickly left by sinking inside the ground leaving Itachi and Kisame in confusion.

'That human! He needs to die!'

It was early in the morning as Akira got ready for his mission.

"Nii-chan, so when will you be returning?" Karin asked a little sad that her nii-chan was leaving.

"I don't know. Hokage-sama didn't really say anything on how long the mission was going to take." Akira replied while packing up his supplies for the mission.

Karin got a little down but perked up immediately. "Knowing you nii-chan, I am sure you will finish this mission of yours fast and return back to your precious imouto."

Akira smiled and patted her head. "Hai hai! This nii-chan of yours will definitely finish the mission fast for you."

Karin grinned as she scurried away to her room. "Nii-chan be careful, alright? I am going to practice some medical jutus I learned."

"Ok then Karin-chan. See you!"

Akira left as he headed towards the main entrance gate of the village.

Reaching his destination, he saw a long white haired man.

'It's actually Jiraya? Hmm... so the person I will be going mission with will be him.'

Jiraya looked at the young man in front of him carefree manner but inside he was anything but that.

"So it seems you are finally here. Anyways, I am Jiraya and our current mission is to bring Tsunade Senju back to Hidden Leaf. Any questions?" He said in a casual tone.

"No questions. By the way, my name is Akira Kurogane." Akira said politely as Jiraya gave a nod.

"Let's go. We don't know how long this mission might take so we better hurry."

With that both Jiraya and Akira left the village.

'So it's a mission to bring Tsunade, huh? I did not expect that.'

Akira was starting to get tired of this. He wasn't tired physically but instead he was tired mentally. Why? It was simple.

Jiraya was a pervert. A super pervert to be exact.

They had travelled towns after towns and in each town Jiraya showed his perverted antics which got him to trouble, having Akira to clean up the mess by soothing the girls which he was somehow good at.

Currently, Jiraya was enjoying himself in a brothel.

Akira sighed as he wandered the streets of the town they were currently at.

'Man... at first Jiraya was all wary of me and suddenly he becomes like this. And I can't believe this Jiraya! He made me lose my virginity! I wanted my first time to be with my special person, not a damn orgy!'

Akira ranted in his mind. In order to get Jiraya out of trouble he had satisfy the girls Jiraya had peeked on and they demanded that he sleep with them which he had no choice but to agree to. The night was filled with passionate screams of the girls he slept with. He didn't have Instant Mastery for nothing after all.

There were two girls that came to his mind as special person. Anko and Kurenai.

They were both special in their own way. Kurenai was a caring girl who would make sure to remind you of what you should and shouldn't be doing while Anko was the type of girl who was wild and extreme. Her motto was to live the life to the fullest since you never know what might happen. Only after this event did he realise how much they meant to him.

He shook his head. And concentrated on his mission he was supposed to be in. He had been sending Shadow Clones to search for Tsunade which was a success but with Jiraya moping around, they weren't getting anywhere close.

As Akira reached a secluded place, he twisted his body and jumped backwards dodging the surprise attack launched on him.

"Oh! It looks like you were purposely leading us to a secluded area. I have to say, you are either extremely brave or extremely foolish for doing such a thing."

A blue skinned man with sharp teeth and gills spoke as he lifted his bandaged sword that he had used to attack Akira from the ground. The man was Kisame Hoshigaki.

"Kisame, it would be best if you don't underestimate your opponent."

Red eyes with three tomoes swirling stared at Akira. It was a fully matured Sharingan and it belonged to none other than Itachi Uchiha.

"So why is it that two infamous missing-nin is after a nameless guy like me?" Akira asked trying pry out the information.

"What does it matter? You are going to die anyways!" Kisame said as he rushed towards Akira with his sword aimed at his head.

Akira bended backwards dodging the strike but even then he felt his chakra being diminished as he narrowedly dodged the attack.

The sword gave a rattling noise and Kisame grinned. "It seems like Samehada likes your chakra. Lets feed him some more of it, shall we?"

Akira kept dodging with ease but his chakra was diminishing due to the sentient sword, Samehada. It had the ability to absorb the chakra of anyone near it.

"This is it!" Kisame yelled as he striked Akira down with his sword but was met with burst of smoke.

'Shadow Clone!?' Kisame thought in surprise as he felt a blow to his neck instantly knocking him out.

Akira looked at the unconscious body of Kisame and then focused his sight on Itachi.

"Release!"

As Akira said that, Itachi down in his knees and panted.

'What a fearsome Genjutsu!'

Itachi was actually trapped in a Genjutsu while Akira was fighting against Kisame. The Genjutsu was not useful on Kisame as his sword would have absorbed the chakra he would have used for Genjutsu making it useless.

"Now then Itachi, we have a lot to discuss."

Itachi got wary as he looked at Akira. "What do you want to discuss about?"

"I know the truth behind the Uchiha Massacre, Itachi. And so does your brother." Itachi instantly widened his eyes at that.

"You... told him!?" Itachi asked as he glared at Akira.

"Yes, he needed to know." Akira said and he looked softly at Itachi, "Itachi, you don't need to suffer alone. Your brother, he still cares for you."

Itachi closed his eyes. "I don't have much time. There are threats that bring much bloodshed and violence if unchecked. When my time comes, I want Sasuke to end me for my sins."

"Are you talking about the illness thats been plaguing you? If that's the case then I have a solution for it but in exchange I want you to live. Not for yourself but for your only remaining family." Akira said as he put his hand on Itachi's shoulder.

"Why are you doing this?" Itachi was suspicious of his motives.

"Because I don't want Sasuke to suffer and as his sensei, it is my duty to help him in anyway I can." Akira said unflinchingly looking in Itachi's Sharingan.

Itachi gave a small smile. "Very well then. I agree but we have a lot to discuss."

Itachi said that as he used one of his most powerful jutsu.

"Tsukuyomi!"
