10 Chapter 10

Akira looked at the five Root ninjas kneeling in front of him. They were the five Root ninjas he had choosen to transplant a pair of Sharingan that Danzo had on his arm. Since there was ten Sharingan, five people was eligible for them.

As for the Shisui's Sharingan Danzo had, he stored it safely away.

After taking over Root, he had learned many Jutsu which Danzo had stored and mastered them. He also trained all the Root members with the infamous Shadow Clone Jutsu he had learned.

Using the Medical Jutsu, Akira had managed to transplant the Sharingan in their eyes without any side-effects as they could activate and deactivate them at will. This was the one of the perks of having Instant Mastery.

"Akira-sama, we have successfully disrupted the operations of the Akatsuki located at the Hidden Waterfall Village." They reported as Akira gave a nod.

"Good job! Next, I want you to look after my students. I will be an official ninja from tomorrow so I need you to look after them." Akira gave the order as they gave an affirmation and disappeared.

The Akatsuki was Akira's main priority as they were the cause of future turbulence. He wanted to hamper them as much as possible.

Akira sighed. 'Man! Leading a secret organisation is hard work.'

Akira thought back at how he had used Danzo's own teaching against him. The Root's main belief was as 'the unseen ones who support the great tree from the depths of the earth'. Danzo was very well leading the village's destruction due to his own thirst for power and the position of Hokage, ultimately allowing Akira to subtly manipulate the Root members to him through Genjutsu.

Thankfully being friends with Kurenai had made him learn Genjutsu because of her argument on Genjutsu being extremely useful.

'But still... thinking about the time I went after Danzo. I was like a completely different person and also when I am talking with either Anko or Kurenai. Is this the side-effects of Instant Mastery?'

Akira mused as he thought about what had happened during his confrontation with Danzo. His whole mentality had changed into that of an apathetic killer who didn't care about his target. His aim was only to kill. That could be called his Killer Mode as he turned into a cold blooded killer but with reasoning to not go too far.

The matter about his changing mentality when conversing with Anko and Kurenai was his Flirting Mode as he talked with incredible smooth understanding of the situation and mood of the female.

'Let's not think about this anymore. In the end even if my mentality somewhat changes, I am still me after all.'

Karin looked at Sasuke in disbelief. "Can you repeat it once again, emo boy? I think I misheard you."

Sasuke grunted as he didn't like being called emo boy. "Please train with me."

Karin blinked and statrted laughing, tears spilling out. "Hina-chan! Did you hear that? The great and almighty Uchiha saying 'please'. Hahahahaha!"

Hinata too looked at Sasuke in disbelief since just about a week ago he was quite prideful to say 'please'. "Sasuke-san... did you hit your head somewhere?"

Naruto joined in as well as he grinned. "Maybe he finally realised how awesome my nee-chan is!"

Shikamaru merely laid down as he watched the clouds. "Troublesome... something serious must have happened if Sasuke is being this.... wierd."

All the five people Akira had been training were currently together. They always came together to train their Taijutsu after Akira had personally given them his unique Taijutsu style.

Normally, Sasuke would be demanding a fight or be too busy training by himself but being polite was not in the description of Sasuke's nature.

Sasuke's face got red with anger at that. "You! I am just trying to nice here and you all mock me!"

Karin was still laughing as she wheezed. "But still... it's so funny! Sasuke Uchiha... telling 'please'. Hahahaha!"

"Karin-san, I don't think you should make fun of Sasuke-san anymore. He is trying to change for the better." Hinata said in a reprimanding tone.

"Alright then. But how many times have I told you to call me nee-chan! Since you and Naruto are bound to be together, I am your nee-chan!" Hinata blushed shyly looking at Naruto as Naruto too blushed at that.

Naruto and Hinata had already hit off with each other as Hinata was no longer meek like she used to be.

"Neechan! Stop teasing her!" Naruto yelled.

"Oh~! Someone is quite protective of our Hina-chan!" Karin teased as Naruto shuttered back.

"Ahem!!!" Sasuke faked a cough as he was getting annoyed at being ignored.

"Are you going to train with me or not?" Sasuke asked Karin in annoyance.

Karin grinned as she put her arm around his shoulder. "Oh! Don't be like that, emo boy. Come on! Let's have some fun now that you are finally willing to open up to us."

Sasuke sighed. "Whatever."

Sasuke was dragged along to who knows where but unknown to him he had a small smile on his face. Now, that he knew the truth about Itachi he was no longer burdened with hatred.

"So... it seems another one of our base of operations has been destroyed."

Ten figures were on top of a large fingers of a statue. The statue was a Gedo Mazo, the husk of the Ten Tailed beast.

All the figures were actually hologram and were the mercenary Akatsuki. Their key signature was their clothes which were cloaks with red clouds on them.

"Hm! Whoever these guys are I am going to show them my grand art. After all art is an explosion!" A long blonde haired man with a ponytail spoke. He was Deidara, a missing-nin from Hidden Stone Village who specialised in explosive Jutsu utilising his clays.

"Deidara shut up! You don't even know anything about them. So quit spouting nonsense." A hunched man said. The man was Sasori of the Red Sands. He was currently in his puppet body, Hiruko.

"Silence!" A man with ringed eyes ordered. The eyes were actually Rinnegan, one of the most powerful Doujutsu that the Sage of Six Path possessed.

"We have no time for petty squabbles. Whoever is behind this is delaying our plans. Our funds are still not quite enough to initiate our plan to bring world peace. We will look into this matter properly. Zetsu, do you have any news regarding this?"

"Well Pain-sama, my initial doubt was on Root for being behind this all but they shouldn't be this skilled." Zetsu said or half of him said. Zetsu was a mysterious guy as he had half white part and black part which had two different consciousness. Currently it was the white part of Zetsu that gave the report.

The Black Zetsu scoffed. "I wouldn't be too sure about that since Danzo is dead."

Pain raised his eyebrows in surprise. "Danzo is dead?"

"Yes, according to the intel I gathered he managed to provoke a guy by trying to forcefully recruit his little sister in Root which resulted in his death but we have no conclusive proof."

"Interesting... who is he?"

"He is Akira Kurogane and the most interesting thing is we have no record of his history at all. Another thing is his little sister is an Uzumaki that he adopted." White Zetsu spoke this time.

"And what does him killing Danzo pertain with the Root?"

"If Akira Kurogane has really taken down Danzo then he might be leading the Root from the shadows." Black Zetsu said.

"Hmm... but it still doesn't say how he is involved with us." Pain said in confusion.

"From what we have investigated, he is said to be a master in the art of killing. And there is also a rumour that he is incredibly good at teaching. If he has been training the Root then there is a possibility of them involved in this."

Pain remained silent for a while and spoke. "Very well, it seems this Akira Kurogane is likely to be the one behind these recent sabotage. Itachi and Kisame, you two will eliminate him at all costs. Find an opportunity to kill him. Since Itachi is and ex-member of Hidden Leaf Village, it will be a lot easier."

"Yes, Pain-sama." Both of them said in affirmation.

"Dismissed!" All the figures dismissed themselves after that.

Pain looked at the rain as a figure energed from spiralling void. "Pain, it seems like we are getting disrupted. What do plan on doing?"

"Madara, there is no need for you to worry about this. I have already sent Itachi and Kisame to deal with it." Pain said to the new figure who was currently wearing a spiral orange mask with one eyehole.

"Very well then Pain." With that he disappeared with a swirling ripple.

'I am a god and soon I will bring true peace to this world.' Pain thought as he kept looking at the rain.

Behind him Konan looked worriedly at her friend.

She was a woman with short, straight blue hair with a bun, amber eyes with lavender eye shadow, and a labret piercing. She had a toned body with supple assets. She was another member of Akatsuki and patner of Pain.

She normally held neutral expression but when alone with her only friend she showed her true feelings. "Nagato... do you think it is wise to trust Madara?"

"Konan, do not worry. Even if Madara is not what he says he is, he is nothing compared to a god." Pain said cooly whose real name was Nagato.

'I hope you are right, Nagato. I don't want to lose you too like Yahiko.'

Konan thought as she held a firm expression. She just hoped that the peace they envisioned would be realised so the bloodshed and violence would end.
