1 I died and met God

"How am I already out of pasta?! I just bought a lot more a week ago. *sigh* Fine you win cruel world I'll go buy some more."

Since I don't have a car, I walk to the nearest convenience store. On my way there I saw something unexpected happen. A little girl, probably around the age of 6, ran in front of a semi-truck. So as all main protagonists do, I ran to push the girl out of the way... yeah right. I wouldn't be able to move that fast anyways. It's too late for that girl. May you rest in pieces.

I close my eyes as I don't want to see a cute girl killed, and when I opened them, I was somewhere else. I was sitting in a pure white room in front of a table with some tea and an old dude. Was I drugged by this pervert?

"You must be startled. Riku, I am god and you have died. How about we drink a cup of tea while we talk about things."

"I died? How? It surely was a little girl that died."

"You see, while your eyes was closed. The truck swerved out of the way."

"You surely must be joking. Do you know how painful that must have been? I didn't feel a thing."

"That's where my mistake happened. I pulled your soul out of your body so you didn't have to feel that pain. But then the truck missed your body! Would you believe that. As you people call it, Truck-kun missed! So you weren't actually supposed to die even though you were supposed to die. Is that confusing?"

"Not really. Is this mistake the reason I am here?"

"You seem surprisingly calm for someone who died, but yes it is. As the rules state I am gonna reincarnate you. The world has already been decided. You are gonna be in a typical fantasy world with magic and demons. There is something a little unique about it however. You use grimoires to use magic. Everybody gets a certain soul weapon in that world. Whether it is a sword or a carrot, it is all decided before hand. All mages get a grimoire, and as I have felt your wish for magic I will give you a special grimoire!"

"Wait really? I can finally use magic! That is so cool. You don't know how long I've been wishing for magic in my boring life!"

"Actually, I do. But anyways, this grimoire has a certain amount of blank pages depending on your luck. It ranges from 1 to 5 and will gain pages as you grow stronger. You can add whatever magic or abilities you want to those pages but if you add something outside of your current skill it will be locked, so don't go adding immortality or it will waste a page early on! Also as an added bonus I'll give you a simple wish and a character customization page."

"Just give me increased mana so I could use magic! Also, this tea is really good."

"I know right! I had it specially made and it is by far my favorite tea, it even cleanses your soul. But your wish has been granted. Here is the character customizer, or whatever you would call it. Just tell me when you are ready and I will transport you down."

A screen popped up in front of me, just a simple glance and you can tell that it is really detailed! This is gonna take a while. No point in waiting! I get customizing.

Finally done! I'm not sure if god knows how broken this is. I was able to give myself a celestial body, that has to be downgraded for now while I am in the lower realms, and I have special eyes that are called 'All Seeing Eyes of God.' I am greatly excited for how good these eyes will be. The don't look like those blue eyes from a certain anime that are called the same thing and they work different I think? I wasn't given much information on it.

For my actual looks I have to say it looks good. I didn't really know how to make my face look like the most handsome person but I would say it is definitely above average. I gave myself white/silver hair and red eyes. My body has condense muscles that are very well toned. They are actually hard to notice if I wasn't wearing tight clothes or no clothes. My height is above average.

I gave myself typical black clothes as I couldn't get something like dragon armor. I also set my impurities to 0. This means that I will be one with mana basically. Looking over to my grimoire, I notice that I got 4 pages. Not the best but still pretty good.

I put creation magic as the first page. I'll be able to create anything and everything I want as long as I have enough mana.

Second page was an Upgrade ability. I can upgrade anything, even skills, with enough mana.

Third page was a mana bank. I can store an unlimited amount of mana in here, and every day I'll get a certain percent increase. Right now it is 1% but I can upgrade it later on.

Fourth page is a passive ability. It increases my mana talent, which increases my mana training, mana capacity, and mana purity. It also has secret abilities that I can unlock if I upgrade it enough.

"Okay! I am ready! Put me somewhere good okay!"

"Your location is predetermined. Have a good life! Come join me for tea sometime! All you have to do is find my statue in the capital or in some churches and pray. I'll bring you up here!"

Everything started to blur, and then I passed out.
