16 Into The Woods
In the middle of the Kaishi Woods Zhao Yun and Coach were running past trees and bushes, they were careful not to trip into something so their speed was reduced. They were being hindered by the darkness, Zhao Yun and Coach were basically blind. It was in the middle of the night, and the moon, which was present when Zhao Yun was hunting monsters was nowhere to be seen right now. Even if Coach and Zhao Yun was just meters apart, they couldn`t see each other.
"Coach, you there?" there were some sounds of running, plus a silhouette was visible but Zhao Yun couldn`t exactly see if it was indeed Coach so he wanted to make sure it was him.
"Yeah, I`m here," Coach replied.
Silence returned and only the sound of their footsteps can be heard.

Outside the forest, there were five men, four persons in which appears to be holding 5 leashes in each hand. The last one, a bald guy, seems to be their leader.
"So, they run into the forest, just as we planned," A bald man remarked. He unsheathed his blade and slashed the leashes. The creatures that were tied to the leashes were actually wolves, they were the same wolves that attacked Coach on their way to the town. The wolves didn`t even bother attacking the five men and instantly ran towards the woods, chasing after Zhao Yun and Coach.
"Let`s go," the bald man ordered
"Yes boss!" his henchmen replied.
The five men proceeded towards the Kaishi woods.

Inside the woods,
"Hey Coach, you there?" Zhao Yun wanted to make sure Coach was still nearby since their vision was practically Zero.
"Yeah, I`m here," Coach replied. They have been doing this since they entered the woods.
In the distance, there were some indistinct sounds. Zhao Yun and Coach heard it, but they weren`t sure what it was?
"Zhao Yun, do you know what that was?" Coach asked
"I`m not sure as well Coach," Zhao Yun replied.
This time the sound was much nearer, it was more clearer as well as Zhao Yun and Coach recognized it was the sounds of growls, and it was not just one.
"Wolves!" Coach cried out.
"There shouldn`t be wolves in this woods, why are they here?" Zhao Yun contemplated "It`s from our pursuers!" Zhao Yun quickly realized.
"What should we do Zhao Yun" Coach started to get nervous. The growls were getting nearer and more distinct.
"I think we`re almost out of the woods so just hang in there Coach," Zhao Yun assumed.
Actually, they`re still nowhere near the edge of the woods, since the path their taking isn`t straight but diagonal. Imagine a right triangle, their path would represent the hypotenuse, so they were taking a longer time compared to when they take a straight path. It is normal to get your directions wrong inside a forest or woods.
This time, the growls were louder, louder than ever, this made Coach panic, and tripped on a tree root.
"Gahh!" Coach voice out.
Zhao Yun heard this unusual voice and called out, "Coach you alright?" He looked around and he couldn`t find any nearby silhouette, so he knew something must have happened to Coach.
"I`m here Zhao Yun," Coach raised his hands as he called out to Zhao Yun. Zhao Yun quickly went near Coach and checked if he is okay.
"You alright Coach?" Zhao Yun asked
"Yeah, I just tripped at a tree root, I can still run," Coach stood up and was about to start running once more but a figure was blocking their path, it was the silhouette of a wolf.
"So it is a wolf," Zhao Yun remark. "Coach, it`ll be dangerous this time so just stay near me," Zhao Yun unsheathed his sword and stood in front of Coach.
The wolf Howled and more wolves appeared and surrounded them. Zhao Yun looked at the levels of these wolves, everyone single one was just 2 stars-Beast class, a star weaker than the wolf that attacked the village.
"Coach, can you fight?" Zhao Yun asked
"Well, I can manage two or three, any more than that and I`ll be the wolves dinner," Coach said.
"That`s good enough. Focus on protecting yourself, I`ll do my best to kill all of them," Zhao Yun assured.
This time more and more wolves were arriving, making Coach and Zhao Yun sweat coldly. Zhao Yun was the first one to attack since the wolves were just there watching them, waiting to be completely surrounded. As of right now, there are almost 20 wolves surrounding Zhao Yun and Coach. Zhao Yun started hunting them down one by one. His sword was basically doing all the work but cutting through the wolves with ease, one slash and a wolf is a done deal.

But of course, it wasn`t a one versus one situation, some of the wolves would attack him from behind so he was very careful not to be instantly surrounded by the wolves, Plus he was concerned about Coach as well so from time to time he glanced at Coach.

The only good thing about Zhao Yun's situation was, all the wolves have the same attack patterns. He used this knowledge to his advantage and easily slew the wolves even when the wolves' raw speed was much faster than Zhao Yun`s.

More and more wolves are coming towards Zhao Yun`s, while Coach was able to slew two wolves, but of course, new wolves replaced them. Just as the wolves' dead bodies were starting to pile up, the other wolves stopped attacking completely.
"Hey, what`s happening? are they afraid?" Coach asked
"I don`t think that`s it. I believe they`re the intelligent types so they might know basic strategies," Zhao Yun surmised.
Zhao Yun appeared to be right, the wolves backed away and hid in the shadows, after a while they started attacking from the shadows. This made the wolves hard to see at all since they were fast, much faster compared to earlier, and way-way faster compared to the knives that he was able to dodge easily. Zhao Yun couldn`t react at all and was hit by a wolf. The good thing is he wasn`t wounded at all, the bad thing was Zhao Yun couldn`t even see a glimpse of the wolves, so how could he even calculate the wolves attack pattern.
"Shit, what should I do?" Zhao Yun cursed in his brain as he thought of a plan.
