Mia's legs were trembling as she ran, the sound of werewolves getting closer and closer behind her. Fear gripped her heart as she felt their presence closing in. She could no longer hear April's voice, but she knew she couldn't give up. She had to keep running. But just as Mia was losing hope, a sudden voice halted her in her tracks.

"No, we're not giving up," April declared, her determination resonating in her words.

"The boys are ahead of us," April continued, her voice steady. "We can't stop now. We have to keep pushing forward."

"Get up, dummy," she scolded him. "I don't need you sleeping in all day."

Annoyed, Kyle retorted, "I don't need you throwing pillows at me, April. And stop calling me 'dummy'. "

This playful banter had become a routine between the siblings. April, being the caring but mischievous older sister, had been an essential part of Kyle's life since childhood. However, their time together was coming to an end as April was leaving for Power Art School in just two days.

It was early morning, the sky was still dark, and everything was calm except for the vampires who were out and about draining human blood. That is why everyone in the city, including them, should obtain automatic house protectors. Domestic vampires who fed on animals were also affected.

"Wait, how am I able to see outside?" he questioned. "Something's not right."
