35 What is this Situation?

In Soaring Dragon Continent, in a wild mountain range with mountains that were over 10 kilometers tall and a large forest next to it with trees over a hundred meters tall.

Within this large forest, it appears there was a small fire. It was a burning pile of mess. It looks to be a ship wreckage on land. With fire and smoke bursting through the rubble and mess of this airship.

There were many corpses littered around through the very wreckage itself.

There was a knight in broken and shambled white armor. Blood covered throughout the inside. This person stood up and tore off all of this broken equipment away. Leaving the sight of a naked 20 year-old well developed silver haired girl with cat ears and a cat tail on her body.

This girl was Alice. The same person who disguised as Ark during the Tournament.

"What is this situation?" Alice spoke to herself as she looked around the mess of a scene around her. She knew somebody knocked her out and now the airship seems to have been destroyed. But her enemy were nowhere in sight leaving herself quite confused at what was going on.

Alice looked around and found a passed out Melarue who was extremely bloodied and covered in bruises nearby. Alice also found Linley who was also unconscious and yet mostly unharmed with some minor bruises. Alice just assumed Melarue protected Linley when they were about to crash.

The pilot's cabin was much more stable and well protected compared to most of airship anyways. The damage that all three of them sustained were all minimal.

Alice went to a personal cabin room that was apart of this airship. Alice didn't originally carry spare armor to begin with. She had instead opted to go through Alicia's dresser. Alice just took one of her many similar outfit that resemble the clothing of a nun.

Even though Alice didn't mind being naked, but it was a problem to be naked and being seen and questioned by others. It was better to remain a low profile in this new and unfamiliar land.

Alice found her sword that was okay even from the airship crash itself. Alice simply sheathe her sword and placed the sword behind her waist.

Alice went over to the two that were still unconscious. Alice carried Melarue as if she was a sack of potatoes and then lifted her over her shoulders. While Linley was being bridal carried like usual.

Alice was healing the two of them with her Battle-Qi Aura as they begin leaving.

Then Alice carried them and left the scene for at least over 10 kilometers in distance. She had believed this was a good amount of distance to no longer be associated with the airship wreckage and made a camp for now.

Alice dropped Melarue towards the ground and gently lay down Linley. Alice then made a campfire and killed a wild boar to roast over on the said fire.

Linley woke up first as he then rise up to his feet and started standing. Alice was just staring at Linley.

"Okay. I think I got this! Wait. What is this situation?" Linley spoke to himself.

Linley felt confused at what was going on. Linley was earlier piloting the airship and knew he was about to crash. So he had quickly abandoned the pilot seat and moved to protect his elf maid as he had embraced for impact. Linley didn't give a damn about Ark.

Linley now woke up to sight of a campfire with a boar being roasted over it. Linley also stared at this new mysterious girl who had silver hair and cat ears and a cat tail.

"Who are you? And where did you pick the two of us up?" Linley asked the immediate questions that came to his mind.

"My name is Alice. I picked you up from the scene of a wreckage." Alice explained vaguely.

'Huh. I just found out that Linley was inside me all along. Now I met a girl named Alice. Am I going to meet anymore references?' Linley thought. 'Like is a guy going to walk out behind a tree and say my name is Haydson?'

"Did you find a knight in the wreck as well next to us? He's about this tall?" Linley raised his hand as a gesture because he was talking about Ark.

Alice knew what exactly Linley was talking about, but instead choose to mess with him as a joke. After all, if Linley forgot about her then he deserved to be messed around with at least.

"No. You two were the only survivors. I'm from deeper inside the forest. I came to the scene of the wreckage when I heard loud and terrifying noise that seemed to have echoed throughout the forest." Alice lied.

"I see." Linley replied.

'Ark is either alive or dead. If alive, then he's an asshole who abandon the two of them when he just woke up.' Linley criticized the missing knight.

"Wow. My elf maid looks very uninjured. I'm surprised she wasn't that injured from the crash." Linley commented at the sight of Melarue who looked fine.

"I can explain that. I'm very good at healing." Alice raised her hand covered in Light Elemental Battle-Qi Aura.

"I understand. Thank you very much for helping us two." Linley said as he noticed he too appear to be very uninjured as well.

Linley sat down and begin chatting with this cat girl next to the campfire.

"Judging from your sword. I take it that you practice the Warrior Profession." Linley commented.

"No, I'm terrible at fighting. I can only hunt weak animals at most. When it comes to fighting people I can't really do much." Alice lied as she shook her head with a timid smile.

"Understandable. I figured you're not the fighting type here." Linley took a deep look at Alice's appearance.

Alice had silver hair and blue eyes. She was very attractive. A mature developed beauty with a good breast size. Her skin tone was white, frail, and was like snow without any blemish or any problems whatsoever. Her face was astonishing good looking like an otherworldly beauty. She also had nice long legs. Combined with her current attire of a nun-like appearance, she seems to radiate an aura of innocence and naivety. Her cat ear and cat tail just made her more appeasing to the eyes as it give her a sense of wildness and domestication.

Linley never in his mind could ever imagined Ark and Alice to be the very same person. After all, Ark was taller than Linley while this Alice girl looks to be shorter than him.

'It's a good thing I'm not that naive like Linley Baruch was when he first met Alice in Coiling Dragon. I won't fall for such an obvious honey trap here.' Linley thought to himself.

A good-looking person was just a good-looking person to Linley. Linley can't just suddenly build up lust for someone who he had just met and don't even know at all. Linley does not have horse sperm in his head.

"Hey, Alice. Where are we anyways?" Linley asked wondering where is this place anyways.

"I don't know." Alice answered truthfully plain and simple this time.

"What?" Linley felt confused as he had assumed this girl was a native inhabitant of this forest.

"I've been living in a small section of this forest for a short while. I don't know how to leave nor do I know where to go. It has just been me by myself living by myself for most of my life." Alice lied.

"I see." Linley just realized he had met a naive forest girl. "Wait. Where did you get those clothing?"

"I found these within the shipwreck." Alice spoke the truth.

"Hmm." Linley begin rubbing his chin as he begin pondering something. He felt something wasn't right.

Meanwhile back at the shipwreck area.

A golden flying advanced looking airship with an odd yet special design was in the air far above it. There were ten individuals that were all on this airship.

Gilgamesh was taking a short look at this burning wreckage before chucking away the sci-fi looking device that was telling him this was the location they needed to be at.

"Useless garbage. It's better to rely one's own capability." Gilgamesh spoke.

"Oh my. You shouldn't litter like that. You might get a fine." Aizen commented.

"You mongrel shut up and move your wretched chair out of my view. I've been flying sideways for too long already." Gilgamesh shouted.

On the Vimana, the golden flying airship. Aizen has placed his throne-like chair in front of Gilgamesh's chair. Therefore completely blocking Gilgamesh's view in front of him.

"Whatever do you mean by that. I have always been moving my chair like you requested." Aizen replied as the chair he sat upon begin rotating. "See. Now you can admire the other parts of my chair. Impressive, right?"

"Do exactly as you like. I hope you find pleasure in your stupidity." Gilgamesh yelled.

"My pleasure." Aizen replied with a bashful smile.

"Surely, there're limits to how much one could embraced such shamelessness?!" Gilgamesh felt irritated talking to this person.

"Oh, excuse me. Can we get back to the matter at hand?" Sephiroth interrupted even though he was normally a silent person.

Gilgamesh opened a golden portal in midair. It was his Gates of Babylon. Gilgamesh pulled out a monocle from it with two of his fingers pinching on it.

Gilgamesh peered through the monocle and discovered all the information he needed. He had found a trail marked with steps that was made recently.

Gilgamesh even saw so much that he even found Linley and his gang was at near a campfire that within range of this monocle.

"I have discovered our assigned target. You fools should prepare yourself as we might face off against a possible threat." Gilgamesh warned.

"..." Deva Path Pain and his fellow paths of Pain were never talked to at all throughout their entire journey.

Gilgamesh commanded his Vimana which moved at the speed of thought to suddenly appeared in the air above Linley and his gang.

"What is this situation?" Linley felt confused at suddenly seeing a golden airship that looked remarkably familiar that seemingly teleported into the very airspace in the sky.

Gilgamesh drew back his airship into his Gates of Babylon. All ten individuals on the said airship all descended from the sky and landed onto the very ground. All leaving small craters at their fall.

'A group of cosplayers?! Hardcore reincarnates who all cosplay very good?! No! That's not right either...' Linley suddenly thought as he saw these ten figures.

It was clearly Gilgamesh, Aizen, Sephiroth, and the Six Paths of Pain + 1 additional path.

Linley felt really odd seeing these people. This was first time Linley was meeting anime characters in the flesh. They looked like cosplayers mixed with godlike CGI that seems to gave them an impression of at least 2D anime and 3D animation at the same time. Most importantly, it was the presence that all of them gave off that really triggered Linley's very senses. He could tell all of them were radiating out their personality through their posture and slightest movements.

Even though they were originally anime characters, they all gave off an impression that made them seem more real than even real people themselves. It was so much pressure from looking at them, it can make even the average person doubt they were even real in comparison. Their appearance were to akin to be a step beyond simple imagination and were living in a layer of fantasy itself.

"What the hell is this situation?!" Linley shouted in shock. Since he had no idea why would a bunch boss-level characters from popular franchises to appear in front of him.
