36 That's Impossible!

Linley felt fear, confusion, and doubt all flowing through him. Linley have no idea on why people are chasing him down. Linley believed that he didn't offend anyone who's overpowered or with an overpowered background. So why was this even happening to him?

Gilgamesh and allies were watching and staring at Linley. The person who summon them all must at least believed this Linley person was quite the formidable threat that all of these summons must all work together at least to defeat or kill this very person.

"I suppose we need to take an initiative and all performed together a combination attack at the very least." Aizen suggested as he raised his hand at Linley.

'Why?!' Linley thought as he stared at Aizen when he spoke those words.

"Hadō #63. Raikōhō (Fiery Lightning Howl!)" Aizen cast his Kido spell without any chants. Aizen generated an orb of yellow lighting in front of the palm of his hand. It was at least a massive concentration of energy compared to even the average soul reaper.

"A fine suggestion!" Gilgamesh spoke as he open up several golden portals in the air behind with Gates of Babylon. Gilgamesh has tons of lightning bolts all inside the Gate of Babylons ready to be launched at any moment to begin with.

"I lend a hand as well. Thundaga!" Sephiroth then begin casting magic with one hand. Even though the world of Final Fantasy VII require Magic Materia to cast magic. This Sephiroth like in the source material has absorbed a required amount of the knowledge of the Ancients from the Lifestream he no longer needs Materia to use magic.

Even though Sephiroth could cast Meteor at high costs, Sephiroth opted for something more basic. In terms of the Final Fantasy Magic System. Final Fantasy magic are similar in names. Thunder was level 1. Thundara was level 2. Thundaga was level 3. Thundaja was level 4. Thundaja was not a thing in Final Fantasy VII.

"..." Deva Path Pain and the other paths of pain would like to join in as well. But they don't have any lightning-based attack themselves.

Naturally, Linley was dumbfounded at being attacked with a combination attack by three of them when he doesn't even know for sure if he could actually beat any one of them by himself.

Alice was at least prepared beforehand when the enemies shown up at first. Alice picked up both Melarue and Linley and jumped away from the collateral damage of course. They all impacted the dirt ground.

The combination attack wasn't even directed at these three. Alice's Battle Technique manipulates light itself with Battle-Qi energy to form illusions.

All three of them who shot out lightning blast attacks in that one direction essentially destroyed everything that was in it's way. Leaving behind a smoking long trail that blasted away a newly indented road that stretches for tens of kilometers.

"Why'd you guys all hit the illusion as well? I was just using my attack as a distraction." Aizen said to the two others who joined in his attack.

"I know it was an illusion! I was just amusing you." Gilgamesh snorted.

"..." Sephiroth only joined along because to help build team synergy.

"Tsk. Tsk. As expected of the ignorant. Do you not know teamwork? If we truly had to work together, I'm afraid to put my life in your hands." Aizen shook his head and shrugged his shoulders.

"Good! Because I would have thrown away your life in less than a heartbeat." Gilgamesh replied.

Linley wasn't that shocked about them missing an attack. Especially when normally these people are arrogant villains in their respective series. It seems perfectly normal in Linley's mind that these people were screwing around with him.

Linley felt weird as he stared at these people discussing about nonsense. Linley knew he was weak, but it was understandably so. Like literally within this short period of time of being in this world, Linley couldn't really do much to become extremely powerful.

Normally, in these reincarnated setting, people tend to fight people in the same low level area and category and work up through a progressive ladder. Linley in this case was basically playing a video game on hard mode with a blind fold and with two hands not even touching the controller itself.

Linley assumed his current situation and predicaments was literally out of his hands. Since he didn't know any reason on what had even lead to this situation entirely.

'Normally, the best option is to run away. But his enemies could probably catch up to him in less than an instant. Surrendering doesn't seem like an option since his enemies seems like they were intending on killing him. What is next optimal choice here? What can I even do?' Linley thought to himself.

Linley knew for sure that this feeling of hesitation and indecisiveness could worsen the situation for him by the passing second.

'When life give you lemons, you make lemonade.' Linley thought of a quote to calm himself down.

"Phoenix Line!" Linley performed his Heaven Grade Battle Technique 4th Part.

Linley was engulfed by a flame body in the shape of phoenix as he begin charging at the easiest member to beat which Linley had presumed.

Linley charged forth at Gilgamesh with the strongest punch he could build up at the moment. Linley's fist which was surrounded by the beak of the phoenix shape flames.

Gilgamesh pulled out a sword from one of his gates and swung at Linley. Dispersing all of the flames that Linley had build up. Gilgamesh casually threw that sword back into the Gate of Babylon itself. Gilgamesh with his other hand pulled out a lance which had then impaled directly through Linley himself.

Bang! Bang! Bang!

Gilgamesh's lance was similar to a mini gun, that could fire a terrifying amount of bullets into it's target. Linley was sprayed internally with magical bullets that could tear through hard stone with ease.

"Your an overpowered asshole who only gets by in life because of your bullshit items." Linley coughed blood as he insulted Gilgamesh.

Gilgamesh's facial expression went from neutral to completely enraged. Pissing off the King of Heroes may be courting death. But Linley was hoping to aggravate him to the point of him dropping his guard down due to immense arrogance.

Of course it had worked to some degree, just not what Linley was expecting.

Gilgamesh with his lance had then launched and throw away Linley off the very lance and sent rolling across the ground. Gilgamesh disposed of his lance back into the Gates of Babylon.

Gilgamesh begin charging at Linley with no weapons at all. Linley immediately got back up and prepared an immediate attack right now.

Exactly right before Gilgamesh completely reaches Linley.

"Phoenix Drop!" Linley performed his Heaven Grade Battle Technique 3rd Part. Linley's body was immediately surrounded by streaks of flame that formed into a phoenix.

Linley believed his trap could catch Gilgamesh. But reality went against expectations. Gilgamesh launched a grab with one of his arm into the phoenix's flame body and immediately pulled out Linley.

"What?" Linley didn't expect this to happen.

"Mongrel. Is this the only move you have? How unexpected. For me to sully my hands at taking out such trash." Gilgamesh stared with an annoyed expression.

What happened next surprised Linley even more than before.

Gilgamesh threw Linley into the air and begin continuous kicking him up in the air while at the same time kicking the very air itself to propel himself.

As the two were both mid air up above the grounds by at least over two dozen meters. Gilgamesh stopped kicking and started barraging down Linley with a series of punches.

'Seriously, what the fuck?' Linley thought to himself as he was receiving a beat down by Gilgamesh in hand to hand combat.

One must understand Gilgamesh's background completely in Fate. He was the ruler of the ancient and first civilization Babylonia. One must know Gilgamesh acquired a plethora of various noble phantasms due to being the first and original king with a massive collection that possess the prototype of many miraculous and legendary items. The collection did not lack the diversity in weapons, knowledge, and even the very elements itself.

Such knowledge include wisdom, magic, and even martial arts itself! The very lost ancient and mysterious knowledge of great martial arts should also be inside the Gate of Babylon as well.

Why would Gilgamesh not be proficient in the art of close combat that utilize the body. After all, to practice the usage of various weapons, one must know one's body extremely well to utilize the most efficient and versatile movements.

Gilgamesh may not be a master of weapons, nor a master of magic, nor a master of martial arts. Not even comparable to a Servant who might possibly be a master at it and was recognized for such a thing. But compared to the average novice or amateur than in comparison with Gilgamesh who was at least as capable as an expert who has been practicing for years.

To remain airborne would take too much effort. Gilgamesh proceed to perform a heavy spin kick towards Linley's head which had then sent flying towards into the ground itself. Linley landed with his head implanted into the ground.

Gilgamesh descended down through the air with ease and regal. Gilgamesh landed near Linley's body. Gilgamesh grasp one of Linley's leg and pulled him out of the ground. Linley was hanging in Gilgamesh's hand.

"Don't use such strong words for a mere mongrel. It'll only make you less than a mongrel." Gilgamesh spoke.

Gilgamesh lifted Linley into the air and swung him back down very hard repeatedly. With each impact towards the ground. A crater was formed and was deepened by each impact. Gilgamesh even as a Archer Class Servant had B Rank Strength in his parameter. It was not wrong to say that even Gilgamesh is physically stronger than Linley.

"This is..." Linley wasn't able to finish his sentence as he was smashed toward the ground once again.

Gilgamesh was the only one who seem to be taking action right now. The other nine individuals were just spectating and analyzing this very fight.

After all, who knows if this Linley person was playing the role of a pig to eat the tiger. One must be prepared and cautious at facing such a enemy who possessed such formidable acting ability.

It wasn't that these people were the type to overestimate the enemy, but believed too much upon the person who summoned these people. There was little to no reason for all of them to be working together if one of them could beat up the enemy with such ease. That would make no sense whatsoever. It was because of this deduction and reasoning that these nine individuals were still taking the careful approach.

Alice would help Linley and abandon the unconscious Melarue by herself. But there was literally no good opportunity to grasped upon. There were simply too many eyes on the fight between Linley and Gilgamesh.

Then a loud scream ranged through the air.

"LINLEY!"

Everyone looked towards the source of where that scream came from. Even Linley and Gilgamesh looked into the same direction.

A girl dressed like a bird head-butted Gilgamesh in the chest.

Then all of a sudden. Gilgamesh was sent flying at extreme speed towards a mountain. The mountain top of that mountain exploded to pieces.

Linley fell down towards the ground when Gilgamesh lost his grip as he was sent flying away. Linley looked up and saw a familiar a red-haired girl.

It was Altina, the dragon girl who was also Linley's self declared fiance.

"Altina! How'd you know I was here?" Linley asked while feeling relieved that he had a powerful helper on his side.

"Hmm. The Scarlet Dragon Ring when activated and merged into the host would becomes a magical item where if you're close enough then I know where exactly you are." Altina explained.

"That's okay..." Linley didn't know the ring was a tracking device. He would have second thoughts on using such an item even if it grants him a power boost.

"Hey, Linley! Are these your enemies? They look strong." Altina spoke quickly. Altina was a magical red dragon. She could easily discern the general power of her opponents.

"Yeah. How confident are you at beating them? Can you defeat any of them with ease like with the golden-hair guy?" Linley asked.

"Nope. That guy was an exception because he was distracted." Altina smiled. "Who should I attack next?"

"Um. The brown haired guy." Linley pointed at Aizen. After all, Aizen was the one who suggested the combination attack to begin with.

"Here I go!" Altina charged at Aizen with extreme speed like before.

Aizen was actually much faster and stronger than Gilgamesh so naturally the result was quite different.

Aizen lifted his throne-like chair and swat away Altina and sent her flying across the air.

"You are fighting out of obligation, not out of hatred. You will never reach me like that. Battling without hatred is like a bird without wings. You'll never defeat anyone like that." Aizen taunted with complex words that Altina probably didn't even listen to.

"Linley! Help! I don't think I can win. If the rest were just as strong as this guy." Altina spoke the very apparent situation here.

"..." Linley felt speechless at how incompetent Altina may be.

'Hey System. Got any suggestions?' Linley thought to his last hope since Linley B. was probably sleeping.

Linley may not be the type to help people normally, but he wouldn't just abandon the people who helped him. It may seem stupid, but a person should have their principle at the very least. Otherwise it makes them no different from being real scum.

'Good. That means more time for recovery for her.' Linley thought optimistically as he realized his new current plan now.

"Hey Altina!" Linley shouted to her.

Altina was still charging forth at Aizen, while Aizen was still swatting her away with his chair.

"Yeah Linley? You're going to help or what?" Altina asked while believing in Linley's strength.

"No. I need you make a big diversion. Can you do that?" Linley asked.

"Mhmm." Altina nodded and did whatever Linley asked as long it didn't contradict with her desires.

Altina begin distancing herself away from Aizen.

"Why are you putting so much distance between us? If you want to make sure it hits me, then you should get close and attack." Aizen suggested.

Altina transformed into her red dragon appearance. Naturally, her normal combat power didn't really change that much. But she could now utilized a certain ability.

All dragons possess a common trump card. It was their Dragon Breath attack. It was several tens of times more powerful than a normal full power physical attack by a Dragon's tail. One must know the Dragon's tail is the fastest and strongest method of a physical attack of a dragon compared to their fangs and claws.

Altina began her dragon breath attack. Instead of a fire breath that one normally imagine to be spewing from a dragon. It was more akin to a giant golden laser beam. Altina flicked her head and aimed towards the group of enemies.

The golden laser beam tear through the earth with ease causing a small-scale earthquake that engulf their entire battlefield. The land seems to be collapsing and ground itself were shattered and sent flying. At the same time, the beam moved through across the forest and even split mountains apart. As the beam passes by, it left a magical golden trail in it's wake among the destroyed remnants of nature itself.

Aizen, Sephiroth, and the Six Paths of Pain +1 didn't really want to take this attack head on. All of them actually scrambled around to dodge as the beam approaches to strike at them.

Once the beam attack was over, the golden trail that was left behind suddenly erupts in lines of explosions that each had a radius of a hundred meters. Leaving mass destruction and mayhem in it's wake.

The whole environment that Linley could see became riddled with craters and was now essentially a wasteland based on that beam attack.

"Wait Altina, you're not confident at beating them, but you can do this." Linley felt shocked at what just happened.

"It's just an ability that can only be used once per day." The red dragon Altina spoke.

"You know what... never mind about what I was going to say." Linley realized his enemies weren't just going to die from this attack alone. Even though they're not currently being seen by Linley and gang doesn't mean they're dead now.

Since they were typically main villains from popular franchises, then how could they not survive such an attack like that at least.

Linley headed towards Melarue who was lying down and with Alice near her. Linley grabbed onto Melarue's hand. Linley knew he didn't have much time left to grasp on his opportunity right now.

Alice noticed Linley grabbed Melarue's hand and so Alice herself ran over and grabbed onto his other hand with both of her hands. Because holding hands seems fun.

"Why?! You know what... never mind." Linley didn't care at the moment. Time was of the essence.

'It's better safe than sorry. System exchange my random draw ticket for EP and exchange me 10 days into the Naruto World.' Linley thought.

The scenery completely changed around Linley and the people he was holding hands. Alice couldn't tell the difference whether this was normal teleportation or even teleportation across worlds.

The environment looks to be mix of urban and traditional and it was night time. These buildings seems to be quite reminiscent of the ones from Konoha of the Naruto series.

Linley stared at Melarue and then he stared at Alice who was just smiling as she kept holding his hand.

'Hey System, I thought it was only just spiritually connected beings that only follow along.' Linley felt annoyed at his System's loophole.

[The System does not know the reason why this mysterious girl named Alice could follow along. It defies the System's current understanding.]

'Screw you System. I would have taken Altina along as a bodyguard if I knew I could take whoever I wanted.' Linley cursed his own System.

Alice stopped holding Linley's hand as she then walk over to Melarue's unconscious body.

"Wake up already. The situation changed." Alice shook Melarue's body in an attempt to wake her up.

Linley choose to ignore the sight of this and focused on his priority here. Linley looked at the Mission Tab of his System.

[Mission 1. Stop the Kyuubi. The Reward is based on the amount of contributions the host did to stop the Kyuubi.

Mission 2. Prevent Minato Namikaze from dying. The Reward is 10,000 EP.

Mission 3. Go reveal the identity of the Masked man who claimed to be Madara Uchiha to the Uchiha Clan with clear evidence. The Reward is 10,000 EP.

'Wait a minute. Judging by these missions. I am literally about to go experience the Kyuubi Attack right about now.' Linley thought to himself how screwed up his situation became once again.

"Huh?" Melarue woke up and stood up on her feet. "What's going on?"

"Linley and Melarue. Some of the enemies are still here." Alice said as she pointed at a tall building.

"Huh? What are you talking about?" Linley felt confused.

Linley turned his head and saw Six Paths of Pain plus 1 more pain was standing on top of a building looking down at their group of three.

"That's impossible!" Linley shouted.

'The fuck System.' Linley immediately thought.

[The System would like to apologize to the host. The current situation defies the System's current understanding.]

Deva Path Pain had time to think to himself. It was time for him and his group to actually do something for once.

Deva Path Pain may had a neutral expression on his face as he looked at the sight of this village of Konoha. But Deva Path Pain and his fellows pain felt delighted in their minds that they received the great opportunity of destroying Konoha and their personal enemies here.

Leylin was an expert at killing System Users. Chasing them down even to another world was possible even for certain summons with the proper preparations set up and ready.

"The world shall know pain!" Deva Path Pain declared.

At the very same time, the nine tailed beast, the Kyuubi itself was summoned into Konoha in a large puff cloud of smoke releasing out a bellowing roar that vibrated and can be thoroughly throughout the entire village.

This very same year when the Kyuubi attacked Konoha. In this very same timeline, the Six Paths of Pain attacked Konoha as well!
