15 Kidnapping is illegal.

The party of four, Linley, Melarue, Fatty Wang, and Kam had all came to the adventurer's guild. Since the guild was basically Kam's house, due to him being the guild leader and the fact the guild is essentially empty. They had just simply entered through the backdoor.

They had simply set one table to sit around upon. Kam placed a round package in middle of the table and then he opened it. It was revealed to be a wheel of cheese.

"What's the purpose of this?" Linley asked while staring at the cheese.

"It's the payment for the A-Rank quest." Kam explained while holding his index finger in the air.

"Damn! I thought we received money for A-Rank and stuff!" Fatty Wang had to yell out of reflex.

"Is the cheese any bit special at all?" Linley asked anyways, not like he cares about it since he got a windfall of a lot of EP from slaughtering goblins. The quest's reward was just icing on the cake.

"Hmm. It's just cheese. Like really good cheese, but in the end it's just cheese." Kam said.

"Wait! Why are we getting cheese? Shouldn't we get gold coins or at least a bunch of silver coins?!" Fatty Wang kept pestering for money.

"All we did is just kill goblins. I mean literally a random S-Rank adventurer usually come annually to clean it up once in a while. If the employer were to pay them large amounts of money every time. Well, clearly no one wants to pay for it. That's why for these types of mission of exterminating an infestation, most branches of the guild usually offer items of food as a reward instead, but we'd usually then assign this type of mission if not picked up by any high rank adventurer to the city. Therefore, the city will pay the guards to clean up this mess over the course of time." Kam explained in depth.

"I see. I understand why no young people wants to be an adventurer now. Who would work hard for something like a wheel of cheese?" Linley nodded at such an explanation.

"As a guild leader, I want to know your future plans at least. If you were to stay in the city, I could introduce your group to some of my contacts. Your group does have potential to grow into an elite party one day." Kam suggested.

"This is not something I'm interested in. This was merely a hobby to pass the time for me and my maid. I and Melarue am heading to Havian Academy as soon as possible." Linley spoke the truth.

"I see. I see. As expected of a genius at your age. Such a school does fit your standards. Perhaps in the future, you might end up as one of the continent's strongest beings." Kam nodded.

"What about me, my lord? Am I, Fatty Wang, not following you there?" Fatty Wang asked.

"Do you even have enough money to pay for yourself to get there? We're taking the sea route tomorrow, I believe." Linley asked Fatty Wang.

"I believe I have at least your several gold coins from before. I think that should be good enough." Fatty Wang said.

"Haha." Kam laughed at those words. "Those few pieces won't even let you be on a boat as a stowaway. If I remember right, there's a major transport ship for only rich people to take to Havian Academy tomorrow. It costs a staggering 1,000 gold coins per room."

"Well, if it's just one room. I can sleep on the floor like a dog." Fatty Wang said.

"No, you're not. If we're only getting one room, it would only be me and Melarue. You, yourself must get your own room." Linley stated out bluntly.

"Then, then I can travel by the land route to meet up with my lord and his maid later." Fatty Wang suggested.

"I don't think that's good and all. If you take the land route, it would be a journey of about 2 to 5 years at most. And it would be through the desolate wilderness. And if you're unlucky, you could meet several scholar-level entities there. Each one could slaughter a peak student like you without doing much." Kam stated his out his wise knowledge.

"Fatty, even though I called you my follower. You do not have to follow me everywhere." Linley said something to relieve the fatty.

"I don't?" Fatty Wang was under the assumption of that if he didn't follow Linley, Linley would kill him.

"A follower is like a worker. Do all workers follow behind one boss?" Linley begin to explain. "Therefore as a subordinate of mine, you should stay here. Improve yourself and become a better adventurer and build a foundation of my influence in this city. So that whenever I come back here, I can come back and claim some resources as my own."

"Understood." Fatty Wang was now assigned of a role being a thug building up a base of operations.

"Here, fatty. A contract with this branch to make you my employee here. It'll help you a lot in the beginning when settling down in the city. Just consider this a sign of good will for the bribery from before." Kam pulled a scroll out for the fatty.

The conversion continued on, but Linley and Melarue didn't care that much about it if it didn't concern them.

Time then passed by, as if it was nothing. It was now night time as Linley and Melarue said their good byes to Kam and Fatty Wang.

Melarue explained to Linley on their walk to an inn. That she had rent out a room and place all of their luggage there before going off to sell their carriage. Linley simply nodded at that rational decision.

Their night at their inn was spent together. It was a quiet one, like most of their journey to this Tri-Moon city was. There was no words spoken if not needed. Linley and Melarue were both practical people who didn't waste their time if it was unnecessary or undesirable.

Linley who had a system and now had meager wealth. He now had multiple opportunities available for him to take. But he wanted to spend wisely and didn't want to regret in making choices.

'System, can you explain to me if I were to buy two different bloodlines and what would happen if they were incompatible with each other?' Linley thought.

[Host, multiple bloodlines in one body can lead to different results. The three main type of results are: assimilation, merging, and lastly mutation. One bloodline could assimilate and dominate another and thus causing the inferior one to add a minute increase to the stronger bloodline in terms of capability. Merging is when two bloodline compliment each other and amplify their strengths and weaknesses together. Mutation is extremely rare, a nigh-impossible possibility where a bloodline can become entirely different than one might imagine to be possible. Of course there is also the evolution outcome which devolves into two results of either returning to the ancestor's equivalent or adapting and transforming specifically for oneself and one's circumstances.]

'So essentially, when you get one bloodline with another. What happens next is a gamble? Is this correct?' Linley simplify this explanation. 'So if you were get the Sage's body and the Eternal Mangekyou Sharingan, it's only a possibility if one were to get the Rinnegan afterwards.'

[Host, you are indeed correct. That's speculation is on point. Madara only achieved the Rinnegan due to possessing the chakra of Indra's transmigrate and Ashura's transmigrate. Both being the sons of the Sage of the Six Path, each one inheriting one half of his legacy. Therefore when combined together, had reformed the Rinnegan.]

One must know that acquiring a bloodline transform the body and it's genes. Another bloodline to the mix can cause unknown results that can be hard to imagine.

Linley with now over 2,000 EP, could afford a Level 1 Sharingan. But Linley didn't really care much about the Sharingan as most Naruto fanboys would be. The problem of multiple bloodlines just signify that one should just take their most preferred bloodline and just leave it at that. The eyes of any eye-type bloodline can be destroyed by having their eyes popped by a physical attack. Linley asked the System, if he could buy another eye if it's destroyed, but the System had told him no.

A System-User can only receive a bloodline once and not again, because they already possess it. Therefore they can't buy it again. Because of this, Linley preferred instead a body-type bloodline like the Uzumaki or the Sage's body like the System had discussed once before.

According the System's pricing, the Uzumaki's bloodline cost 10,000 EP. While the Sage's body cost a staggering 500,000 EP.

Uzumaki were known for their vitality, while the Sage's body was ridiculous in comparison according to the System's explanation. It was akin to having an entire body being made of Hashirama's cells. A more accurate description of what the Sage's body could do is that it could help reduce illness such as blindness, heal much faster, store more energy in body, increase one's latent durability, and lastly and more importantly it can increase one's soul strength. A healthy body has a healthy mind, but an extremely healthy body has a strong soul!

That's the reason why in the source material, when Naruto got his soul half pulled out by Edo-Tensei Nagato, he could pull it back to himself.

Linley was kind of not interested in the techniques of Naruto World right now. Linley was trying to think of a good build to take in the future. If it was based on Naruto World's, then the first purchase should be related to a bloodline. One that focus on his strength and reduces his weakness. His System was still currently trying to make a meditation technique for him so he can finally begin learning magic.

Linley does not know how well magic can compare with ninjutsu. If it was greater, then he should focus on it. If it was weaker, he would focus on ninjutsu. If it was the same, then he would do like the former and save on EP from buying such unneeded things.

Thus, Linley chose to wait and not spend make any big purchases yet. Linley still haven't found his own suitable path yet, and he didn't want to take a step in the one he would possibly regret in.

The next day. Linley and Melarue had headed from the inn to the docks of Tri-Moon city. Melarue had carried the luggage with ease with wind magic. There was a large cruise ship near the docks. It was the same ship that Kam had mentioned before. The ship for rich people to take to head to Havian Academy. It was the only ship there.

Melarue had also paid a fee with a crystal gold card which symbolize the value of a 1,000 gold coin according to the continent's banking standards. Melarue could have bought two rooms, but buying one is good enough, because saving on money is being efficient.

It was going to be a week's worth of travel before they reached Havian Academy on this boat ride.

Those initial three days passed by quickly. Then one night, Linley wanted to get some fresh air. He would have like to ask his elf maid to come with, but she's sometimes patrol around at night for security measures. Therefore, Linley went by himself to an open deck. Linley wanted to stare at the starry sky and admire the moon.

Instead, he had found on the deck was a little girl who wore tattered clothes and was soaking wet. So much she was laying in a puddle. She had long black hair and looked like she was 6 or 7 years old.

Linley contemplated at first whether to help or not in this fantasy world's situation. After all, helping could lead to trouble. But not doing anything by itself is a crime here. If Linley's fatty sidekick was here, Linley would have told him to deal with the situation.

Linley recalled in his past life's knowledge. If a Chinese main character had a fatty sidekick. A Japanese main character usually has a slave. A Korean main character is usually by himself. There was a line in some comments to some novels, it was every badass needs a loli. Therefore, the correct answer to do based on the situation is to usually help unless one was a ruthless person. Linley wasn't ruthless, therefore he opted out to help this little girl.

Linley then carried this wet little girl on his back as if she was a sack of potatoes and immediately head back sneakily to his room before he had got caught.

Linley had a sigh of relief when he had entered his room. His elf maid Melarue has not came back yet. Therefore, he could worry about that problem in the near future.

Linley had grab a towel and begin drying his recently acquired soaked little girl. He avoided touching her in the wrong places. Linley was not a pedophile or something like that. He only helped because he felt like that's the right thing to do in the end.

The little girl woke up and her red eyes stared at Linley with a blank expression. Linley forgot that people with red eyes is usually a sign of demon possession, but Linley couldn't memorize all of the information that past Linley had in his memories even with the System help at first. Unless if he were to refresh himself with those memories constantly or on periods of time, but Linley wasn't that bored.

"You woke up, huh? Why were you wet and lying down on the deck?" Linley asked straightforwardly.

"Llll nafl'fhtagn shugnah ot gn'th." The girl oddly spoke noises.

Linley took this as either a language barrier or that the little girl may be retarded. Then the girl's stomach begin growling.

"What, are you hungry? What do you like to eat?" Linley asked out of politeness.

"Y' ulnah bthnkor ot shuggoth." The girl said casually.

"..." Linley does not carry food on him at all. He did not understand what she wanted. So he bought food that considered decent.

Linley had set up a table and chair that came with this luxurious room. He then simply purchased a bowl of Ichiraku miso ramen from his system shop for like 3 EP. It came with the bowl and chopsticks. Linley lifted and placed the girl on the chair and the ramen on the table. Linley gave her the chopsticks.

"Ahf' ah cahff lw'shuggor nilgh'rinahh llll?" The girl asked. The girl was holding each chopstick in one hand. Not knowing what to do.

Linley face-palmed himself after realizing he had reincarnated into a western fantasy world. Of course, most natives in this world don't know how to use chop sticks.

Linley lifted the little girl and sat down in the chair himself, as he then put the little girl on his lap. Linley with his hand first showed the girl on how to pick up the noodles in the ramen with the chopsticks.

"Ahh ymg' mgepah llll ah'f'nah lw'shuggor nilgh'rinahh?" The little girl said when she saw what Linley was doing with the chopsticks.

"Here, let me show you." Linley then helped the little girl used the chopsticks. As soon as she learned, she begin eating the bowl of ramen. As soon as she was done eating, she looked towards Linley in the face.

"Y' ymg' vulgtmah, ymg' gotha ah, Y' h' ephaigoka." The little girl spoke while nodding her head.

"You're welcome I guess. I just did this to make you a bit happy." Linley spoke honesty, trying to explain to someone who probably didn't understand.

"Ya lloigehye?!" The little girl's face blushed and turned red due to a misunderstanding.

Linley may not understand her, but the little girl was perfectly understanding Linley throughout this entire conversation. The little girl would speak in a more understandable language, but right now in her current state is weakened made it impossible to do so at the moment.

Linley's door to his room suddenly received a few knocks.

Melarue then opened the door and saw the sight of a little girl sitting on her young master's lap. Irritation didn't fill her face, instead she calmly said:

"Young master, like father like son, but young master you still need to know that kidnapping is illegal still."
