9 Celebration

Linley calmed down and now that rewards selection was over. He needed to know what was the title he just got.

'System, what does title of System User killer do?'

[The title of System User Killer grants the owner a 1% gain when receiving EP.]

'That's useful I guess.' Linley thought out his opinion.

Linley originally wants to look at his shop and summon tabs since he can acquire a world's connection. But Linley didn't forget his matter at hand. He still has to go outside the castle at noon.

Even though Linley should have no experience going through the castle. Past Linley, even if he was a training maniac who didn't pay attention to what time it is. Still at least know how to leave the castle.

It was only a matter of time before he leaves the castle, so meanwhile Linley quickly looked at the shop and wanted see a particular bloodline's prices

The Sharingan initial cost for at level 1 was a 1,000 EP. Level 2's full price is 4,000 EP and Level 3's full price is 10,000 EP. The Mangekyou Sharigan cost 100,000 EP. The Eternal Mangekyou Sharingan cost 200,000 EP. The Rinnegan cost 1,000,000. The Rinnegan is the final evolution and therefore achieving the Rinne Sharingan is impossible in this evolutionary path. Of course, the upgrading cost is cheaper than the full price.

The full price means getting it directly, while upgrading is just merely upgrading what you already have.

'System, I thought it was the bloodline selection shop. Shouldn't I see the Uchiha bloodline and not the Sharingan in it?'

[Host do not need to worry. The System's shop is a lot more beneficial than one might think. For the case of Naruto-related bloodlines. For example, if one were to buy the Sharingan, one would automatically gain the Uchiha bloodline. It was the same case for the Hyuga and the Byakugan. Therefore the Host does not need to worry if these eyes would cause excess energy drain if in usage.]

'So if I purchase the Rinnegan directly, would I get the Sage of Six Path's bloodline?' Linley asked.

[No. That's an entirely different purchase, Host. Specifically, you are referring to a special body type that can be purchased now in the system that is called Sage's Body.]

'What is this Sage's Body? I never heard of that before in Naruto.' Linley was curious about this new tidbit of information.

[A Sage's Body, in summary, is a special type of body's constitution in the Naruto World. Ashura Otsutsuki, Hashirama Senju, Naruto Uzumaki possess this body type. Ashura inherited this trait from his father, while Hashirama and Naruto gained this trait due to being Ashura's transmigrants. It is the middle ground that is below the Otsutsuki bloodline yet above the Senju and Uzumaki bloodline.]

'Is this due to the influx of additional information that was supplemented to the original source's lack of needed information to form a self-sustaining world?' Even though it has been a while, Linley still remembers the info dump the System gave him during first his night since Reincarnating.

[Yes, you are correct. If you were to enter this world, perhaps what you expect is entirely different from what you will experience.]

As Linley went outside the castle, he noticed there seemed to be a festival of some sorts. Linley did not know the customs, therefore did not know what celebration it was.

Linley headed to first open field he saw, something that his maid told him to do at his father's order.

There were tables with white tablecloths over them and there was a festive atmosphere filled with commoners, civilians, merchants, and guards. There were maids, butlers and other servants of the Baron's castle as well.

As Linley was strolling through the area, he saw a scene that was very familiar in a novel he had read.

A guard was talking to a group of little boys around 4 to 5 years old here.

"Uncle Hillman, what are you going to show us." A boy asked.

"I'm going to show you, children, the strength of a Rank 6 Warrior, a peak Warrior Student." The guard named Hillman said.

Hillman grabbed a nearby stone boulder that was tall as him but weighed at least a ton or two in weight. Hillman did so with only one arm and then was throwing it up and down like if it was a ball.

"This weight is pretty good," Hillman said to himself and then he tosses it away about three steps from him.

The resulting drop of the boulder caused a small quake that the group of children felt.

"Let me show you kids, my full strength." Hillman got into a stance. He was breathing hard and heavy as the veins on his muscles were pulsating and turning purple. Hillman then launches a strong punch into the boulder. His punching arm was causing the air around him to be bent.

The boulder was then shattered into pieces from that one punch. Leaving smoke rising in the air from this pile of rubble.

"Children, if you cannot reach Rank 1 Warrior by the time you are an adult. You shouldn't call yourself men in the future." Hillman spoke with charismatic wisdom to young boys.

Linley shakes his head at that scene not knowing whether to laugh or cry. Then he moved towards the center of this area. Of course, along the way, their similar performances whether it was Warriors or Magicians.

Linley had met his father face to face. Both of their eyes met each other. Then Linley's dad, Draco, got up from his seat and walked up to Linley.

"Sit down already boy." Draco ruffled Linley's hair with his hand.

Linley and Draco both sat down at the largest table in this party.

"So Linley, do you know what today is?" Draco asked his son.

"No idea." Linley felt like this was an appropriate response.

"It's your birthday." His dad deadpanned. "Never mind that. Melarue brings the birthday boy his birthday cake."

"Hmm...." Linley was surprised.

Melarue was pushing a cart that was carrying a cake that was about two meters tall and 1 meter wide. It was big enough to feed a family.

When Melarue put this cake in front of Linley. The first action Linley was did was punching the cake. His fist went inside the cake as if it was soft mud.

Both Draco and Melarue stared at Linley.

"Young Master, what are you trying to do?" Melarue asked.

"I thought the cake was a lie." Linley said believing there was a box of some sort inside this large cake hiding a person or something at least.

"Ahem! Anyways." Linley coughed and tried to change topics. "Why are we having a birthday party outdoors? Isn't it better to have one inside the castle?"

"I thought you at least remember why. Melarue would you like to be one to remind my son of this importance of being outdoors." Draco asked while chuckling at the fact that Linley forgot.

"Young master, if you don't remember then just forget about finding out why. It'll be easier to not explain." Melarue sighed while clearly seem agitated as she left the premise.

Linley was confused at this expression his maid was making for the first time he seen.

A young maid with short white hair came by and filled Linley's cup that was on the table with juice. Since he was a 12-year old who can't drink wine yet.

"Is that Slyph? Oh yeah Linley, I need to tell you something." Draco was finally reminded of something.

"What?" Linley responded.

"You see this maid here." Draco pointed at Slyph. "Her name's Slyph."

"Okay." Linley begins to relax as he begins to drink his cup of juice.

"Slyph is the beloved childhood friend of a little boy named Rudy. And this Rudy kid, he was a Rank 7 Magician at ten years old." Linley's dad said and then explained. "I kidnapped her and stop Rudy from rescuing her from my clutches weeks ago. Not only that, I told the boy that if he wanted his childhood friend in the future that he has to beat my son first."

Linley choked at the juice he was drinking at those words his father just told him.

"Hey! Slyph." Linley spoke immediately as he turned his head at her.

"Yes. Young master. What do you need?" Slyph said while nervously.

"How strong is Rudy?" Linley asked straight to the point.

"I believe... he told me once that he was a Rank 8 Magician." Slyph said honestly. "Is that all?"

"Yes, you can go now." Linley shooed her away along with the suggested hand gesture.

'Rudy a ten-year-old genius from the countryside. Who was a Rank 8 Magician. A Scholar. Scholars are basically experts in the countryside. Not only that but my dad kidnapped his beloved childhood friend. Isn't this a background fitting for the main character in a novel? Judging from the pacing usually, I would be a fodder stepping stone, especially when after Rudy goes get his cheat/inheritance to be strong enough to beat my dad.' Linley thought to himself.

Linley looked at his dad and noticed he didn't care about the problem he had just made. Well, that's normal because Draco Arthur believes son is naturally greater than a genius boy from the countryside.

While in the midst of his thoughts. Linley, his dad, and mostly everyone in the field now heard a terrifying loud roar that echoes throughout the field from the sky above.

"▂▂▃▃▄▄▅▅!"

"It is time." Draco Arthur stood up and yelled. "Make way or die!"

The bustling sea of people that was in the area split apart like how Moses pave a way through the ocean.

Linley took a look at the sky. The clouds were being blasted away as a large figure was flying. This being was fast. Faster than any fighter jets in his past life in comparison. Linley could only see a giant blur in the sky.

Soon the figure landed. In the middle of the now vacant open space of land. In which the crowd of people from.

Thud!

It came down like a meteor. Leaving a crater in the area. Dust clouds erupted from the impact of the landing. Then a similar sound resounded the area once more.

"▂▂▃▃▄▄▅▅!"

This time, the loud roar disperse all of the dust cloud immediately, allowing anyone with eyes to see this appearance of this mighty being.

It was a red dragon that was at least 10 meter tall.

The Baron Draco Arthur looked toward his son with a solemn face.

"This is your responsibility child. I can't clean up this mess for you. And now it is time for you to grow up." Draco explained his words rather quickly.

Before Linley gets the chance to respond back. His father grabbed his collar and threw him in front of the fierce red dragon. Thanks to Linley's physical might, he could at least remain standing after being thrown like that.

"Huh?" Linley was confused and now he was standing in front of the red dragon.

Linley and the Red Dragon were both staring at each other eye to eye. The dragon was growling, while Linley felt like he didn't know what to do.
