Asura

Sora was soon taught how to hunt, by hunting his father taught him how to catch fish which gave him the ability [Hunting], a sub-ability of [Camping]. Sora easily learned this, although on the first try he made some mistakes, these mistakes disappeared the more he tried. by the 5th try, Sora showed no mistakes.

each stab of wooden stick stabbed through a fish, something which caught his father. but it made him sigh, to think his son was so talented but he wasted his son's potential...

{Hunting] came with many sub-abilities of its own. such as [Tracking] and [Stealth], as the name sayings, [Tracking] allowed Sora to trace down an enemy finding them from their hiding spots.

[Stealth] allowed Sora to hide, making it harder for people to sense him, Sora found that this was indeed overpowered. this system was a bit overpowered.

after catching fish, Sora and his father went on to return to the camp where his father taught him [Food Storage] and [Cooking]. after the meal, Sora went on to eat, Sora's father wanted to teach Sora some martial arts.

So, his father went on to teach Sora the basics of fighting, Sora didn't get any new ability he could buy or anything of the kind. but this was expected, martial art was more complex compared to something like camping.

Soon, night fell, and Sora got ready to sleep. but before he could go to sleep, his father passed him cultivation art. it was cultivation art known as 6 Arm Asura Cultivation art, it was cultivation art which was the core cultivation art of the Asura race. Sora froze while looking at this cultivation art before looking at his father in shock.

this whole day, his father had given him many SP, though this SP he was giving, Sora could guess his mood throughout the day.

His father seeing the look in his son's eyes sighed softly as he looked at the sky, he thought for a moment before speaking.

"Son, what am going to tell you is something I hope would motivate you to grow stronger. you're not a human but a demon, in fact, you're form the Asura race." He said making Sora's eyes shrink in slight horror at this knowledge.

demons and humans were enemies, it was to the point once they see each other they would fight to the death without a second world. demons were evil beings who were trying to take over their world, and humans were doing their best to push them back. now he was finding out he was a part of the bad guys?

"you're part human and part asura. your mother is human, I know I told you she passed away, but she is alive. just know that the war between humans and demons is something the big guys on a top push for, rarely is there a good side in a war. both sides are fighting for resources, so they spread the news of the other side being extremely evil." He said softly, to which Sora nodded in understand

"Cultivate, I can't protect you. I don't know how long I even have to live." He said softly as he reached his shirt, revealing a huge hole in his stomach. Sora's eyes shrank as this injury should have pretty much crippled him, the fact he was at level 2 body tempering realm should be the little remaining of his cultivation he managed to keep or save.

"There is another reason I didn't push you to cultivate, which is because this cultivation art would allow others to have a higher chance of sensing you're a sin. a sin being a half-blood between humans and demons. but we are in the forest and we shall be alone. cultivate," He said softly, Sora nodded slightly as he went to go cultivate.

his heart was slightly heavy, the former owner of his body left him with a bunch of stuff to worry about. but if he could reach the body-tempering realm, things could be easier for him if he was still a young master, just thinking of all of the points he lost out on...

Sora sat down and crossed his legs. he went through the 6 Arm Asura Cultivation art, he needed to comprehend this before he could cultivate. his father sent the knowledge of this cultivation art straight into his mind,

Sora found it quite easy to comprehend this art, he went over it once and he had understood it, upon opening her eyes, Sora saw that he could buy a new ability. he looked at this ability for a moment before he bought it, it cost 200 SP, but buying this caused the cost of all other abilities to reach 300 SP.

just as Sora wanted to start to cultivate, he saw that the system had changed slightly, and a new information bar appeared at his statue's window.

but this was not all of the changes, for one he now could see what each level meant. abilities at level 1 were the lowest level or known as Beginner levels.

once an ability reaches level 4, it can be considered the middle-level or average level

at level 7 is considered advanced,

at level 9 is considered a High level or near the peak

and level 10 is considered the peak, the highest level that ability should be able to reach

but the system went past level 10 and will continue to increase none-stop until level 20. some abilities could evolve while others could evolve and become something new.

took a deep breath, gaining XP requires one to do something, the more impressive the said thing Sora did with said skill, the more XP he would gain. with this in mind, Sora began to cultivate. thanks to his ability to cultivate, he would sense the extremely weak amount of energy in the air around him.

there were many steps into cultivation, absorbing energy from the world around you were simply the first step. the second step was to refine that energy and make it your own, of course, that was not the final step, simply refining it would make the energy slowly leak out of your body and return to heaven and earth.

the third step was following the cultivation art you were cultivating, and running the energy through your body. at the body tempering realm, this would temper your body. that energy would be used to make your body stronger and stronger

Cultivation levels are stages of measurement within the body tempering realm, not a measurement of strength. think of reaching a new level like leveling up within a videogame or something like that, once you reach a high enough level you can learn new abilities and similar stuff. that was pretty much cultivation.

Qi was the XP, and you were drawing it into your body to level up. of course, just because you had a higher level didn't mean that you were stronger. just like in games where players with lower levels can defeat someone with higher levels, the same thing could happen within the cultivation realm.

at the body tempering, one tempers the body, improving the body so that it could hold Qi within the body. people don't normally walk the path of a body temper, this is because it's extremely painful

drawing energy into your body and refining the body was painful, something that many with weak wills could endure. within this place where Qi was so small, a person draws energy into their body and would have to suffer for years until they step into level 1 body tempering.

those who can endure such things were strong-willed and someone that could reach great highest, but they were limited to this small city.

So, Sora cultivated, as he did, and he got 1 XP every hour. it took time to absorb and refine the energy, and it was even longer to channel the energy through your body. you can't be too fast or else you can cripple yourself.

the XP Sora was gaining was not so simple, [Cultivation] was broken down into 3 sub-skills. [Absorbtion] [Refinement] and Energy [Manipulation]

those 3 sub-skills were much easier to level up, and as they improved, in return his [cultivation] ability improved. if they all reached level 2, it would in return level up [cultivation] to level 2,

His father sat by the campfire, looking at the fire for some time. while looking at the ever-changing flames, the flames seemed to slowly take the form of the past. he looked at it for some time, before he sighed and looked over towards the forest.

"When will you be coming out?" He asked softly, with his voice, from the shadows a middle-aged man slowly stepped out, behind him, and he was followed by 3 other people. it was none other than the mayor,

"I thought I paid back everything... what is the meaning of this?" he asked calmly, the mayor snorted coldly as he hatefully looked toward Sora.

"That brat of yours destroyed the chances of me ever stepping into level 3 body tempering realm. do you think that is something that could be so easily ignored?" he said angrily, Jimen looked at him for a moment before sighing.

pointing a finger forward, a flash shot towards the mayor, and the next moment the mayor let out a cry of pain as he fell to a knee while holding his right leg, which had a hole in. shocked and feared the mayor and those who he bought with him, but it turned to fear as they saw Jimen point a finger towards the mayor's head.

"Since you want to be unreasonable, cough up everything you have on you, and leave." He said calmly, the mayor's face darkened, but before he could say anything a flash appeared in the night sky, and the next moment the mayor cried out in pain, but he was not the only one as a man standing behind him also cried in pain

"You gave the price you wanted me to pay, I accepted and paid. and even then, you have the nerves to follow through with the matter." He asked calmly, the mayor's face was pale, he couldn't walk, and if he wasted any more time, it would be pretty much impossible for him to recover.

gather Qi from the air around him, he quickly used it to suppress his injuries and strengthen himself so that he could stand. but before he could do anything, horror filled his face as Jimen pointed at his face,

"I will count to 5, and I will simply take it off your dead bodies," Jimen said calmly,

"1," he said softly before counting forward and the flash appeared in the sky once more, and another man screamed in pain before he fell to the ground, holding his chest. fear swallowed another, who turned to run, but he didn't get far as Jimen reached 2, and another beam flashed across the night sky, hitting him.

"w-wait, this was a simple miss understanding." The Mayor said in horror, they never expected Jimen to be a hidden expert. shouldn't he have been showing off or something, at least tell them and not say you're at level 2 body tempering when you're higher

Sadly, Jimen reached three, hitting the mayor's leg once more. the mayor cried as he held his leg, but the person behind him acted quickly and threw out everything on him, among which was a bag that held a space within,

Jimen waved slightly and the bag flew into his hands, which he put away not bothering to even look at it. the other's faces twitched seeing this, but for their life this small treasure was nothing, so they gave them away. but the mayor was different, he had treasures equal to the pill which could allow him to reach level 3 body tempering realm, how could he give away what he was just given

but he quickly gave it to Sora, seeing as Jimen was about to reach 4, hatred filled his eyes. as the 3 hours, he came with carried him away. Jimen didn't stop them and simply turned to look towards Sora who was cultivating.

'He comprehended it so fast... I indeed wasted his talent.' He thought with a sigh, he pointed forward, and Qi from within his body flew out, surrounding Sora. this was of course something no one could normally do, absorbing someone else energy to cultivate was faster, but the risk was greater.

you absorb someone else energy into your body and try to refine it, if that person wants to injure you, you would be hard-pressed to defend yourself.

So, time passed, and 6 hours went by. at this time, Sora noticed that his cultivation suddenly became easier, looking over he saw that [cultivation] had reached level 2, this improvement was something that Sora didn't expect. improving its sub-abilities of course improved his absorption, refinement, and energy manipulation capabilities,

but once his [cultivation] improved, it was an improvement of his cultivation talent. meaning, he would need less energy for a breakthrough, while at the same time his other 3 sub-abilities get an overall boost in quality.

in total, Sora was 5 times better at cultivation than he was a moment ago, but now to level up this ability, Sora would need 100 XP. but this was not the best of things, cultivation was something one needs to pay full attention to, but now, due to how good Sora was at it, he could even draw bits of his attention away

'His absorption speed is 5 times faster... it seems like he is still learning' Jimen thought with while looking at Sora. he flicked out once more, increasing the Qi around Sora.
