11 A Rock

"what is this?" Sora asked calmly as he showed a glowing orb to a worker, the worker looked over before his eyebrow raised. the worker looked at the masked man and woman before realization hit him.

"you must be from a village. that in your hands I called a worlds orb. you can use it to enter the word store, and talk to people far away." the store worker said calmly, Sora looked at the orb in confusion, so this was a phone?

"using the law of the heavens, the world shop was created, a unique shop in which only people with these orbs can enter and communicate, and buy things. it could also be used to call people into this space, where you can talk to them," he said with a smile, Sora had heard of this part, a powerful cultivator who went by the blind sage created a word shop

Sora thought long and heard while looking at the orb, it was not too expensive, but if he bought it, he would run out of money. but seeing this orb, made Sora think for some time, what if he brought tech into this world?

just picture it. on earth, humans could make things like guns, and jets that can go faster than sound, and the world's nuclear weapon stockpile all going off could bring forth the end of the world. just imagine, If Sora's talent was added together with technology, what could he not be able to create or make?

but that would be for later, once he reaches a stable state, he should try and create a gun first. that would be for gunpowder and many other things. but for now, he should spend his time growing stronger.

Sighing softly Sora put the orb back in its place, before he bought a storage back, which he gave to her along with some stuff for her to buy for herself. she was now one of his people, Sora already knew she had fallen for him. although he didn't understand why he didn't care at the moment.

but charming her gave Sora a huge amount of XP, allowing his Charisma to reach level 5, to think she was someone so capable that she could give so much XP. this pretty much confirms that she was more talented than she showed.

Sora got to find out her name Berry, named after the snake her mother used to pick while living as a mortal. Berry rushed off to buy a few things, while Sora looked around the shop, looking at the many unique things he could buy.

there were many things Sora could buy. sure there were no electronics within this world, but it reach a level of technology far above earth tech. form household puppets that could act like robots, a freezer that allows one to store food, and many other things.

'my city was too poor to have such high-tech stuff... well, let me buy the purport, I will bring it down and try to recreate it with parts.' Sora thought while not only buying the puppet. he wanted to buy a book. but that would be a waste of money, with a thought, all of the books appeared within his mind map, allowing him to read them at a high speed.

Sora had hundreds of thousands of km range, so he could read this from an extremely long range, he could even cover other huge cities and read their books.

just when Sora was about to read through all of the books, Sora thought of something. he should learn to multitask, with his shocking high comprehension talent, and Dexterity. it would be easy for Sora to learn this,

just think about it, if Sora could slit attention into hundreds, to be able to do many things all at once, what would happen when Sora put all of his attention on one thing? with this in mind, Sora sat down and went on to have two brushes and a piece of paper in each hand.

with one hand, he began writing his hand, and with his other hand, he began writing out 'Blazing Body'. it was hard, and he kept having to start over many times. but on his 6th try, he managed to finally write out the words.

[new ability found... [Multitasking]}

Sora suddenly saw this, and saw the badly written words before him, taking a deep breath, he sighed softly before buying the ability. buying it, Sora SP dropped 6,000. but it was worth it, as Sora could guess the many things he could use with this ability.

plus, Sora could put his other abilities to full use, for now, he could only pay attention to everything within his mind map, his mind was not so powerful enough to take in so much information at once, but with this, Sora foresaw that everything he could sense could be taken in.

So, Sora began trying to multitask, writing two different things at once was extremely hard, but he quickly leveled up [Multitasking] to level 2, which allowed Sora to write with both hands at once, upon mastering this, Sora wanted to use more than one finger to right more than one thing.

maybe writing his name using all 4 of his fingers at the same time. so, he tried that, and after some tries, Sora managed to do so. Sora stopped right there, before he closed his eyes, he forced his hearing to the left side don't the room to hear a group of people talking, while at the same time, he forced to the other side of the room to listen to someone else talking.

Sora smiled slightly, he found that this gave him a lot of XP for both [hearing] and [Multitasking], at first it was, of course, hard to get used to this. his mind getting two sets of information and processing it took some time. but after a moment, Sora can hear two sounds far apart and quickly process the information without trouble.

So, like this, Sora spread out his hearing, paying attention to 4 sounds, and trying to process them all at once.

just imagine standing in the middle of the crowd with every talking all at once, of course, it would be hard to even hear your voice. but now, imagine being able to make out each voice all at once, know who is speaking, and know what they are saying all at once.

that was what Sora was pretty much learning to do at the moment, soon it was time to leave and they were to the city gate to meet the old man, and everyone else. everyone's eyes couldn't help but lock onto the two people who were walking together, this of course gave Sora a lot of SP.

no one said everything, Sora got a few hateful looks from Wu He, but he ignored him. Sora was not scared of him, he was only fear of what friends or allied he might have. Sora didn't want to fall into the trap, of killing one person affording a person 5 generations. that would just bring about so much stress and unwanted conflict

but Wu He faces turned dark seeing how Sora ignored him, Barry also ignored him upon seeing him look at her. unlike these fulls, he was a cultivator, how dare they look down upon him just because they had higher pride talent.

but there was more than one reason why he came back home, the person he was serving gave him a task. he had to find talent to follow him, the more talented the person was, the more he would be rewarded. So far, many talents had agree to follow him.

well, so they began their walk. while walking, Sora went on to work on leveling up [Multitasking], after some time. when it was time to sit and rest hours later, [Multitasking] had reached level 5, at which point, Sora can focus on 32,768 things all at once,

[Hearing] also reached level 7, at which Sora gained a new ability that Sora never expected, mind reading. Sora can hear memories, but it was not limited to a person. if he focuses on something, Sora can hear the origin of things,

Sora wanted to level up the remaining of his skills, but a soft sound of something hitting the ground caught his attention, he quickly found the location of the sound, and upon doing so, his eyes narrowed slightly.

within the forest, near a river, Barry was just about to take a bath. but Wu He along with a few other young masters surrounded her. she wanted to run, but she was knocked to the ground, Wu He being the leader here stepped forward while looking at Wu He who was looking at the group of males with disgust.

"a trashy mortal like yourself, it's a blessing that this young master laid his eyes upon you." Wu He said with a cocky smile as he slowly lowered his pants, but just as his pants dropped revealing the thing between his legs, a blur flashed followed by something hitting the ground.

everyone jumped slightly, but looking towards the ground, they saw that a rock had hit the ground, covered in blood. as they looked towards where the rock could have come from, they saw a bloody dick on the ground, next to Wu He.

"..." Wu He froze slightly while looking at that thing, slowly pain ran through his body, and he shakingly looked down, and show the body lower body. he suddenly let out a scream, this scream was so long that the old man who was sitting at the campfire flashed over and was shocked at what he saw.

looking around, he instantly realized what happened, a group of males surrounding Barry, and one of them was naked. was it hard for him to guess what happened? his face darkened while looking at everyone, he didn't care for a moment that Wu He might bleed to death

but what happened? he quickly looked around and saw the rock on the ground, he easily trashed where the rock came from and saw Sora sitting on a tree, everyone followed his eyes and saw Sora sitting on a tree with a flat rock in hand.

Barry's eyes shone slightly, Sora came to save her and even looked so cool while doing so, in her eyes, Sora was pretty much glowing

the old man was stunned for a moment, he didn't expect Sora to be so ruthless, but this was the best punishment, pulling out his sword, the group of males quickly fell to their knees while begging for mercy,

"elder, Wu He forced us." a young master said in horror sensing the killing intent, the elder coldly looked at him along with everyone else. rush trash was the type he hated the most, with a swing of the sword, their heads flew into the sky, followed by their blood shooting into the sky.

Sora froze slightly seeing the scene, this was the first time he saw someone take another life... well, not including his own life. Sora considered himself ruthless, but killing was something he would need to get used to. a person can sit behind a screen and say kill that or kill this, but faced with it, the thing was different.

of course, Sora didn't feel sick or anything, it's just that humanity was challenged. of course, Sora didn't see himself as a hero or anything of the kind. he showed himself now, as Barry was too valuable, Sora was someone who would put his research above other things. he would torture himself for slight improvement, muchless others.

before his death, of course, Sora knew what he was making. an A.I. that always improves? of course he knew that things might bring upon the end o humans, but did that stop him? no, he was a madman. the thought of being the person who would create something that would never be outmatched was the only thing on his mind.

he would go down in history and never truly die. in his eyes, death came when the world truly forget who you are, when the very idea of who you are disappeared. that was true death, and in truth, it scared Sora.

Sora didn't know it, but upon fusion with his A.I. which was not complete, a few things happened. his mind was also affected. so he was part A.I. and part human in the truest sense of the world. So, when Sora moved to save Barry. he didn't save her because he was kind.

Sora saved her because after going through the loss and the benefits, losing her was a huge loss. since she fell for Sora then it was best to use that, arrive at the last moment to save her. Sora of course didn't lose his humanity, which is why he couldn't kill even though it would have been the best choice at the moment.

he just could do that just yet, but at the same time, Sora didn't want to lose it. going for pure profit would not get you anywhere, sometimes you need to trust your heart. that way you can get something more, at least, this is what Sora thought.

"If you can survive, than good for you. but once you do, return to the sect and get out of my sight, or else I might just kill you." Elder Mo said coldly at Wu He who was laying in his blood, holding his lower part, while stopping the bleeding. he needed something to wrap around it,

Elder Mo couldn't kill Wu He, as an outer sect elder, had no power to kill a disciple, if he killed him then that would get him in trouble and force him to show that he had recovered to get out of trouble. since he owed Sora, he wouldn't do this.

as for Wu He, Sora was more than talented to withstand the storm that might come his way, withstanding it, would also draw out more people that might support Sora. he was more than Sora and Sora could handle himself, everything thrown his way would only make him stronger.

Sora was someone he liked. able to show himself to stand for justice was something he could respect. as for there being a thing between Sora and Barry, Sora didn't seem to be the type who would bother with such things. with their fight, he got to read Sora's heart, Sora was not the I want harem type.
