Ch 5: Aura Guardian

It's been a week since Professor Oak left and a month since my dad release his findings on raising Pokemon Eggs.

My dad and his team got an award from the Pokemon Breeder Association (P.B.A.) not too long ago and after receiving the award many people came to meet my dad.

It seems thanks to his discovery in how aura can be used to help in Pokemon development phase in the egg has opened a gateway in aura research. My dad is now called a pioneer for aura research, people are coming for his insights into aura use.

Aura users are a little uncommon and the know uses for aura are low so researchers are excited to find new ways to use it. To them with the new uses of aura, there are new topics to research, old questions solve and new question are raised.

All the researchers started to open temporary labs in Alto Mare and they try to get aura users to visit them for tests. This was done to seeped up the collecting of the much-needed data gathering for all the researcher.

Not long after researcher settled in, aura users started coming to find work. This made Alto Mare a gathering spot for aura users and aura researchers after many for years to come. Some even move in after falling in love with the city.

With so many aura users gathering in one place cause some Aura Guardian started to be curious about gathering of strong auras in one place.

Aura Guardian usually lives in the wild to protect Pokemon and are known to be connected to Pokemon to a level no one can accomplish normally. They usually never go into cities or towns unless needed.

After coming to Alto Mare the Aura Guardians who gathered started to notices all the aura users around from the old to the young. Aura Guardians are low in number and after seeing a lot of aura users who can be trained to be Aura Guardians in one place they got an idea and created two groups, one came to my dad while the other went to city hall.

What my dad told me they want to start an Aura Guardian School in Alto Mare. They wanted my dad to help them promote the school, as my dad is Alto Mare main researcher so his words carry some weight in public opinion in the city. He agreed to sponsor the school and sign me up as well as being an aura user as well.

I didn't want to at first but thinking about it helping me learning to use my aura and Pokemon moves I agreed.

It also seems the researchers in the city are giving their full support to the school as it will help them in collet data in some way.

~2 Month Later~

The Aura Guardian School was made and along with it, an Aura Guardian Alliance was made that could rival the Psychic Alliance.

It seems like Alto Mare is now a holy land to Aura Guardian as now the once small number of them have now grown four times then it was in the past in this short amount of time.

I even became an Aura Guardian after graduating, I learn to use all four of my auras and can do some Pokemon moves. My status has changed rapidly along with the use of my aura.

Also in one more month, I will be ten and get my first pokemon. I have a few choices to go from I can get a starter Pokemon Chikorita, Cyndaquil, Totodile from my dad's lab, or I can get a Riolu from the Aura Guardian School as they are giving them to anyone who graduated from the school as a substitute starter.

As an Aura Guardian Riolu is a must have but I don't really want him. I never liked the grass starters so Chikorita is out of the question. I like Cyndaquil because it's cute but because of my ice aura, it'll be hard for it to get close to me. Totodile is cool but I don't like how it evolved.

Learning a new aura doesn't sound bad but I don't want to go through all the work to learn to use it. Changing Cyndaquil type sounds fun. But having a Totodile that went through a new evolution path sounds cool too. System, show me the type-altering items and evolution altering items that work for them.

System can you explain the items?

*Beep* (In the [Type-Altering Item] there are three ways to do it they are [Type-Altering Candy], [Type-Altering Begone], and [Type-Altering Glue].

[Type-Altering Candy] is a sweet that will give a Pokemon another type for half an hour. It doesn't work on Pokemon that already have two types.

[Type-Altering Begone] is a pill that removes a type from a Pokemon. If used to get rid of the only type that Pokemon has it'll become a [???] type until a type is added.

[Type-Altering Glue] is a paste that is rubbed onto a Pokemon to add a type. Can only work if said Pokemon has one type or is a [???] type to be replaced.

For [Evolution Altering item] there only [DNA Mixer], [Primal Awakening], and [Path of Power].

[DNA Mixer] is a potion token before a Pokemon evolves, while it's evolving the Pokemon DNA will be mixed and mutated making the evolved Pokemon into something new.

[Primal Awakening] is a potion token before a Pokemon evolves, while it's evolving the Pokemon will awaken its primal traits. This can weaken or strengthen the Pokemon.

[Path of Power] is a potion token by a final evolve Pokemon or a none evolution pokemon to evolve. The Pokemon must reach its utmost limits to take this potion to evolve.) *Beep*
