Ch 12: Journey Starts

I'm now in Pallet Town a midsize town made out mostly of homes with a Pokemon Center, Professor Oak Laboratory, a small shopping center, farmland to the south of the town and nature like forest and mountains surrounding it and farms.

This is where I chose to start my journey to become a Pokemon Master or something. My plans here are simple its to meet Professor Oak to get registered for the Indigo League and to fulfill a quest to start an evil organization by recruiting here.

I'm planning for my organization will be causing chaos and gather point for me automatically no taking over the world sh*t. I'm calling my organization Team Delinquent as Team Chaos, Team Distribution and Team End-Game were taken.

Well, that's enough of my plans let's talk about what I'm doing now. I'm lost and can't find my way to Professor Oak lab. In the anime, it's near the woods but in this Pallet Town, it's somewhere in the town. I ask around but every time I get institutions to his lab I ended up getting lost. Why does everyone here have to say take a left and blah blah blah other than saying go to Main Street fourth building to the left? I give up I'm going back to my inn before I let Gold destroy the town.

It's now the next day and I'm waiting in the lobby of the inn I'm staying at for Professor Oak. I had to call him as the townspeople are getting me a headache and it didn't take him long to pick me up. Once he picked me up we went to his Jeep that he started to drive to his lab.

While going to his lab I found out it was near the town park and the townspeople were giving directions to the park thinking I know how to get to the lab after that.

Once we got to his lab he registered me for the League Tournament. His lab is a giant white five-story building that looked like a hotel mix with a laboratory with many people walking everywhere in and out of it and what I was told they are lab assistance, Junior researchers, and sponsors Pokemon trainers that help Oak in his research and experiments.

Oak took me inside and brought me into a room along with eight other people and after we got into the room he pointed to a chair to sit in. After I sat in the chair he left me to go into another room and then a speaker called out a name to enter the same room he just went into. Once the announcement was made a guy with yellow hair and green got up and went to the room only to leave after half an hour.

This continued until it was my turn to enter the room.

Once I entered the room Professor Oak was sitting in front of a table between two other people. One of the two pointed to a chair to sit in and once I sat in the chair Professor Oak started to talk.

Oak: "Now Mister White, we knew you want to participate in the Pokemon League tournament this year is that right?"

Businesses mode, huh~. I prefer if he was in grampa mode.

John: "Yes, I want to participate in this year tournament."

Oak: "Okay, now we know you truly want to join we need to go through some formalities down. Well, we are sure you know the rules of the tournament right Mister White so we can skip that. What we want to truly know is if you are ready for the danger that is involved in joining the Pokemon League tournament. Even with all of the rules and safety measures in place, there's still a chance that you may die or one or more of your Pokemon. This could happen at any time inside a Gym Battles and even inside the official tournament this is your final chance to back out boy take it before you regret it."

Does Professor Oak have an Ice Aura the room somehow seem to get colder all of a sudden? This truly isn't a laughing matter.

John: "Professor Oak I'm truly ready and am ready to face the dangers that may come."

After saying that the room became quiet and after a while, Professor Oak shook his head up and down showing his satisfaction in my resolution to join this year's tournament.

Oak: "Good my colleagues and I will talk it over and give you the news by tomorrow if you're registration is approved."

Once his words finished he stood up reaching out his hand towards me for a handshake once I shook his hand I left the room to leave them alone.

After I left the room I went towards the exit to head back to my hotel to spend the night to wait to get the news. I hope I can join the tournament as it will be fun to mess around in it and I can most likely find some members to join my organization while facing the gyms before I enter the official tournament.
