4 Stranger is Strange..er..?not danger

Alex sat comfortably on the sofa, however it looked like he engulfed the entire sofa under him.

"Are you sure you don't want anything..?" She repeated with concern.

"No thank you really..." stared at her with cold expression. " I knw Mrs. Lin but not very close...what made you buy this house ...I mean it's like remote for atleast half a mile either side except for Mr.McGregor's farm."

She blurted as if expected "If you come to think about it like that...hmmm...true I'm pretty lonely here...but I had no other option besides it perfectly fit in my budget....."she shrugged with a very satisfied look .

Alex grunted with a one -sided smirk on his face..."Huh! INTERESTING!!!. if you don't mind me saying...How much do you know the history of your house?"

Hearing his gruntled reply, Aaria slightly panicked in thought but never lost her composure..

"No Not really because...I haven't had the opportunity to find out about it much...but have a rough idea. Why is it scarry ...Then don't tell me please...I believe ignorance is bliss.."

"HA..HA..HA!!!!!" he suddenly burst into laughter...

Aaria got startled at his laughter....as thought he spooked her.

Looking at her face turning pale...he smiled devilishly and told her.." I appologise...I was just trying to tweak your curiosity about the house, not spook you.."

Hearing his genuine apology, she felt calmed..and pretty much at ease...

Then he told her, the house was built brick by brick by Ian Malcolm Buchanan. Ian was born approximately 600miles North from the town they were at. He had eloped with his wife and brought her here...however when she was carrying for their kid, he

left her and went back to his hometown and never returned...

Hearing Alex narrate what had transpired Aaria got engrossed...

"What happened to his wife...? Are you sure she was heartbroken...but what their child..?"

she started pouring in with questions..

Alex, had a distant look on his face as he told her," the wife surely was heartbroken, atleast that's what I heard ...because she died at child birth... Noone knows what happened to their kid..."

Aaria looked devastated, but then her expression changed to a confused look...
