5 Chapter 1.4 THE GARDEN

I don't know what it is about today but it's different, I feel as though it is for some reason.

As I sit here surrounded by nothing but beautiful wildly grown flowers with the wilderness at my back and the sun shining down upon everything, I just had time to reflect and to think to myself what if.

But then again that is the purpose of the garden.

The garden that was started by fairies prospered and finished to perfection with the help of some witches long ago.

To help troubled minds, it was spelled to calm the mind it helps it focus on the troubling thoughts that rage within.

With that focus it makes you reflect and forces you to confront what it truly is that bottles up what you're feeling inside as you sit surrounded by nature's beauty in peacefulness and serenity.

The garden however is a place you're only allowed to enter if the spell deems that you need to enter, for however long it takes to calm and heal the troubled mind.

Some only needed the garden for months or weeks, and others are still ongoing till this day.

Started by Roxen, a Fairy, almost four hundred years ago to help a troubled old man, a Human, he was charged to.

Back then Fairies still didn't make themselves known; they were the last species to be revealed to the Humans because of what they do for them almost like a guardian angel.

Fairies are there to lend a helping hand and become a friend in need until no longer needed anymore, they thought if the Humans knew about them, that they'll ask them for things knowing what powers and things they can do just like they did with the Witches.

Fairies didn't show themselves until one hundred years ago when a Fairy disobeyed the rules of its people to save a charge whom he grew to love like a daughter.

That story is one I don't really know as the full tale of but I just know that it was really bad, so bad the fairy was never seen amongst any people again. That fairy being Roxen.

When Roxen did this garden for his old human charge, Humans all around wanted to know how the old man with a shattered mind was healed and renewed every so greatly.

The human spoke of a young man, of Roxen, to the people how the young man befriended him and did this for him.

Some people knowing this Roxen by seeing him with the old man wanted to see this miracle for themselves and it got bad with the sickly fighting for health and the healthy wanting to see something so grand just for personal gain.

So, it was spelled that those only needed to enter can ever enter, that is what I gathered from a book in the library I was drawn to talking about spelled magical places created by fairies and witches that drew me here to the garden, to see if I would be able to enter and I was.

When I picked a spot on the ground to sit, I looked around me and saw that I was by the daisies.

A small breeze picked up blowing a wonderful scent of nature's clean air. More daisies started to sprout from the ground all around me.

I couldn't help myself but to reach and touch a few, noticing that all the flowers were white whereas all the flowers in the garden had an array of colors even the daisies far out from me, the ones that sprouted closest to me to surround me were just white.

Once I felt the softness of the petals my mind went light, like the weight was just lifted from my brain.

As I took in a relaxing breath then exhaled it as I closed my eyes in a trance.

Transported to one thing, maybe the first thing that started my slowly growing shattered mind and soul, my parents.

I was young, the age of six, the age when it all started, when my parents started the neglect.

It's saying that when you're born you cry tells the strength of, you're a wolf if you're from a powerful bloodline family like my own, that is full of warriors.

Though I whimpered instead, the doctor said that it's not the first time he's seen a pup be born without a sheer cry but just a soft whimper and that my parents just had to wait until I was six to find out.

So, when I turned six and they happily took me to the doctor, they left the doctor unhappy and filled with nothing but disappointment.

My mother said 'some whimper, and we're warrior wolves, beta wolves, hell I'll even take an omega.'

I still remember those words even without being taken here to this thought deep in my mind.

Her words came out in nothing but harsh and bitter. 'A Latean Werewolf I gave birth to; I carried the weakest wolf ever to be known in our species from a line of top tier strength of warrior blood this is what I was given for a daughter'

When I was young, I didn't understand them but you'll remember the moment you become the hate in your parents' eyes even if you just don't know, because it's your parents.

That moment, the exact moment I felt the hate when she spoke, when she looked at me.

I felt it all and I'll never forget it. Though why start me here to confront something I know, that they hate me and to tell me such a deeper meaning, to show me where my self hate started so I can come to terms to heal.

What is the point of starting here at this point, in this moment and not a happy one?

'No wonder my father was so mad' my mother spat as she kept ranting to my father. 'He was so damn angry probably just as the same when my mother used to tell me he was when she was pregnant with me until I proved to be a warrior something he can be proud of and relax the anger he felt towards me until I turned fucking six' my mother scoffed out.

Does that mean she just whimpered as well when she was born and had to wait just like me, is that passed down or something, did that happen to my brother as well?

'He always hated it' she continued, every time someone in our family line knew they would birth a girl, he hated it but was cool when they were top tier. Makes me wonder what the hell did he know or was he just a typical man wanting nothing but sons'

I took in a ragged sharp breath as I came to from that moment, some tears leaving my eyes.

Why? Why take me there again when I became the unloved child? What was the point, I needed from that to cross that off my list so I cannot be welcomed into this beautiful garden again.

"Hey!" I heard a shout from behind me, it was Jessica and she did not have a pleasant look on her face.

"You stupid girl seriously did someone not show you where you find your list of duties for the day, got me looking for you all over this place since you didn't sign off on completion on your task that you're fucking late to doing by the way." She snapped.

I stood from my spot and made my way over there to here by the door of the garden, the garden that hides behind a door you'll just think is nothing but a small room but a large field, like you just walked outdoors yourself.

"No sorry, I don't know anything about a list."

"I knew it, someone was signing it for you in the beginning, when you only just had cleanup assigned to you for the start off" she confirmed to herself.

"Look, I'll show the list after the cleanup of dinner. It must be signed by you where your duties are everyday. It shows that you did your damn job and if it's not then they'll think it wasn't and you're not fit to do your work and you're out of here."

I nodded my head to her in understanding of her words as I stepped through the door and noticed that she probably shouted out to me and not have just come and gotten me because she can't enter.

With all the bitch she has who would've thought she was right in the head.

"Okay good" she says, "now let's go you're already late, hopefully he may be running behind to and you can go clean it up and be out quick and easy."

"Clean up what exactly?" I asked.

"You have been assigned every Monday to clean up the Alphas Kings second office on the second floor of the pack house" she answers me.

"And please do remember the second office on the second floor cannot be that hard to forget, not the first one on the main floor of the house or the one near his questers on the sixth."

She did not just say what the hell I think she just said, as she's dragging me down the halls of the pack house.

The Alpha King, every Monday, don't worry Eleanor she said so herself, you're late so the scheduled time you're supposed to be there is when he is not.

"He will be there as well, even though no one can enter the main office without him being there this office doesn't really hold anything important. It's just on Mondays he's there in the mornings just doing small things of work" she states crushing my hopes.

"He likes things to be punctual that's why I said I hope he was late this morning and decided to sleep in or something but I doubt it. He picked this time for you to come clean since you're new, we can use that as an excuse today."

After that I just tuned her out, He'll be there, in the office when I'm supposed to, the fucking Alpha, my Imprint.
