Chapter 6: First Quest Together

(Haru's POV)

----In front of our inn, waiting for the silly head to come out,

"Girls really takes their time."

Looking at the sky, I saw a cloud shaped like a figure of a woman with big boobs. While gazing, it reminds me Yunyun and her big boobs appeared in my mind from last night when she's sick.

*Haru-kun...*

"Sorry for keeping you waiting, Haru-kun..."

Yunyun suddenly appeared beside me, interrupting my imagination.

"Are you feeling well now, Yunyun?"

"Yes! Thank you for taking care of me last night."

"If you still feel unwell, just tell me. We continue this tomorrow."

"No! I want to go on adventure with you today, Haru-kun. This is the first time I will go on a quest with a friend. I'm very excited."

"Okay then, let's go."

"Yes, Haru-kun!"

Arriving on adventurers guild together, we look on a quest board to pick a mission.

"Haru, hunting giant frogs quest?"

"Giant Frog quest?"

I immediately imagining Yunyun soak in Giant Frog's saliva.

*It smells bad."

"Haru-kun, are you listening?"

I woke up from my imagination.

"Yes, I am!" I immediately responded.

"Then how about this horned rabbit? We hunt them a lot from my home village."

"Horned Rabbit?"

Yunyun appeared in my mind wearing a bunny girl costume.

*Don't look, Haru-kun. This is embarrassing..."

"Haru-kun!"

I woke up again.

"Yes!"

"You're not listening!"

"No, I am listening. It's Horny Rabbit, right?"

...

"Moo... you're not actually listening. I don't know what's going on in your head."

I saw a demon investigation on the quest board and I pointed at it.

"How about this quest, Yunyun? A demon was spotted in the deep forest and we just have to investigate it. The reward is 150,000 Eris."

Imagining about Yunyun again and this time, she in a demon outfit.

*I'm a demon and I'm going to eat you! Rawr!*

"A demon? It looks difficult as our first quest. Please choose another which is easy."

"Okay..."

Looking around the board again, I saw a easiest quest.

"How about this? A medicinal herb gathering in the forest on north? It's 2,000 Eris each plant and it's quite easy."

"Then let's go with that quest, Haru-kun!"

She looks excited.

Bringing the quest to the counter lady,

"A herb gathering, right?"

I nodded.

"Quest approved. Good luck on your journey."

"Yes."

Yunyun and I left the adventurer's guild and travelled together out the Axel Town to the north.

Near the river, I made a long bow to catch some fishes for lunch. It's DIY long bow made from bamboo and the string is from stem of fan palm. The arrow is also made from bamboo stem.

When I checked that it sturdy enough, I went near the river and aim at the school of fishes.

I shoot the biggest one and it was hit.

"Wow! You're good, Haru-kun!"

With my bow skill, I easily caught enough fishes for us.

After preparing, I grilled it in front of her and she likes the delicious smell.

While eating together, I asked her to teach me some of her magic and she kindly agreed.

After having our meal,

"Haru-kun, are you ready?"

"Yes!"

"Which one of my magic you want to learn first?"

Of course, I'll go with the one which is very convenient for me. I always have this dream of having this ability so that I won't never be late in school again. Commuting everyday is such a hassle and pain in ass.

"Please teach me Teleport first."

"Okay, Haru-kun."

Yunyun looked around and she found a rock.

"I'll teleport this rock somewhere."

While she's casting, a magic circle appeared below the rock then,

"Teleport!"

Few seconds later, the rock suddenly disappeared, teleporting somewhere randomly.

Checking my adventurer's card,

I saw the Teleport skill and it only requires 15 skill points.

I highlighted it and click the learn button.

All the information about the teleport magic appeared in my head and how to use it.

It's really convenient.

I'm starting to think that Part-timer job is the better version of Adventurer Class which excludes the cost of taking a great deal more skill points to learn abilities outside of a general category, and the said skills must be taught or shown directly by someone who has them while also being less effective than the originals.

I have to try using teleport.

When I was about to use it, an idea came into my mind.

Teleport... It instantaneously transports the user or a object to a marked location or, a random place.

I just need to mark someplace and teleport to it.

What if I used it to mark an object and teleport to it.

Taking out my swift knife from my pocket, I focused myself on marking my knife as teleport location.

I was surprised when it worked.

"Uhmm... Haru-kun?"

"Okay, let's try..."

Looking around and I threw my swift knife on a tree near us.

It hit the trunk.

Casting teleport magic on myself.

"Teleport!"

Few seconds, I disappeared and teleported near the swift knife on the tree in an instant.

Yunyun was completely shock.

Taking my knife stabbed on the tree.

This put smile on my face.

I can use the magic as Flying Thunder God Jutsu.

With this, it's more cooler.

"Haru-kun! What was that just now?"

Yunyun ran towards me.

"Haru-kun, what was that just now

"Just a simple application of Teleport Magic. It still needs more improvement so I have to train to make it faster without any channelling."

"Huh?"

She was confused of my explanation.

I walked pass her

"Let's go, Yunyun. We still have to gather some herbs."

"Yes!"

She followed after me.

I decided to increase the level of my teleport magic instead of learning new magic spell from her.
