The prince and princess were still fourteen years old, prince, both looked mature for their age, both were tall and had a mature look, any normal girl would fall for the prince and any men would lust after the princess on their first glimpse, as I was wondering the prince started to stare at me with a curious look, I was startled but after some time I asked.
"Prince, do you want to ask me something," I asked in a respectful tone, "Yes Mira, it's about my mother and father" I was a bit shocked from the sudden question but I said "what do you want to know, my prince"
"I am going to meet my father for the first time so I wanted to know about him " as he paused and smiled to me than continued "why does mother hate the king so much ?" I was a bit surprised that the prince wanted to know about his father, I answered in a calm tone
"as you know, prince, the marriage between your mother Queen and the king was not a marriage of convenience" the prince looked curious, so I continued
" it was a political marriage between the Kingdom of Rex and Kingdom of Aristus, because of the continuous strife between Kingdom of Balkan and Kingdom of Aristus , so the Kingdom of Aristus proposed an alliance between the kingdoms, at that time your mother and the king were princess and prince, so they had no say in it, but the king was love with another woman, the first Queen of the Aristus, so he married with her first, he had no interest in your mother, also your mother was not interested in him"

I was in shock, but I spoke "Your mother, The Queen was infertile, she had no children before, it was a miracle that you two were born, when she was pregnant she came back to the Kingdom of Rex, as soon as you two were born the king of Rex, your grandfather died of mysterious circumstances, so your mother was crowned as queen as there were no other siblings of your mother".
The children wherein shock after I told them about their mother after some movement the royal siblings calmed themselves, and the princesses asked me "what happened to the first queen, we were told that she died before we were born !!"
I had a calm face, as I answered
"As you know the king was in love with the first queen, I would say it was not love instead it was lust, as the queen was enchanting beauty, her beauty was revered throughout the human realm, one day a god from another realm was passing through this realm, the god had made his presence in the realm clear, the king was in hurry, to invite the god to his kingdom, for his selfish ambitions, the god had accepted the invitation to the kingdom"
I cough a bit and continued
"when the god, came to the kingdom, he noticed the enacting beauty, who was the queen of Aristus, at that he couldn't resist himself to grab her, so he grabbed the arm of the queen and said he would want to warm his bed with queen for the night, as soon as the god said those words, she slapped him with her disgust face, the god got furious and cursed her that if she sleeps with any other man she would die and the god left the realm immediately after that"
The children got more curious as I told them, and I continued
"The king, your father, was drowned in agony and lust as he could not sleep with his own wife, the king thought the curse was bluff so he made the queen sleep with him, the next day the queen died mysteriously"
The children made surprised expression and they were disgusted by their father "oh" the princess said in a calm tone, and then I continued
"The king went mad after the death of the first queen, so people also call him the lunatic king" as I spoke the prince said "So mother was telling us again and again, to be careful around the king "
"Yes, My Lord" as I replied, the sun was setting down, the sky was reddish, the capital was in view in the "Tera" which could show anything about the hundred miles radius, as I indicated to the prince and the princess to view the capital in the "Tera", the prince had a grin smile, and the princess had a naïve happy face, as both of them looked at the view, the prince said "wonderful, the capital is grand and beautiful as Rexes, what do you think sister", as the prince asked, the princess answered in wow "Yes, brother, it is".
After a few hours, the capital was in given eyesight, it was dark and it was a full moon, as I was gazing at the capital, the princess was asleep, so the prince asked "what do think Mira about the king".
I was suddenly startled as I calmly replied "I think, the king will not do anything serious, as you are also the future king of Rex, so please rest assured My prince" as I calmly answered, the prince had a serious expression as he said, "let's see".
