1 I

On an early morning with birds chirping, a cold gush of wind suddenly blew into the house of the Rosa Family. Feeling the freezing atmosphere, Agnes gripped her blanket with desperation. She tried to fight off the cold by clunching unto her blanket to find some warmth to continue her sleep.

"Eldest sister please wake up, its already 5 o' clock." Alessandro said as he continuously knocked loudly on her door stirring her out of her fantasies. She tried to ignore her brother and continue with her sleep, feeling the refreshing pull of her food inspired haven. Gosh it was so delicious.

She continued on her sleep. Subsequently, after a moment of silence, she heared some clinking sound and suddenly her brother somehow found himself within her side, shaking her out of her reverie. He positioned himself in a way that his force was enough to disturb her perfect sleeping position. Annoyed at being pestered so early in the morning, she grudgingly curse in her mind.

"Sister seriously I have a class at 7 a.m. and so do you! If you don't wake up now, you'll be late for class." Alessandro shook her harder. She clunch on the blanket for dear life, not letting a few minutes of sleep escape her. "F-Fi-Five more minutes" Agnes managed to mutter, but her brother was unrelentless, he even tried to pull off her blanket.

"Seriously I won't fall for that again. You're alarms been annoying me since 3:00 a.m., if you're not going to wake up, then don't set up alarms in the first place. I can hear it even across the hall! It was so annoying, I swear I wasn't even able to get a wink of sleep." He stated angrily, even managing to win at the tug of war by luck due to a slight quilt from Agnes. She felt so bad at the thought, it was her fault that he was so grumpy so early in the morning.

"Urg... I didn't mean to... I swear, I'm so sorry, okay I'll wake up now." As the sentence left her mouth, even Agnes was shocked at how convincing she sounded. Alessandro stared at her wordlessly, eyes penetrating. "If you mean it then leave this bed and help me prepare breakfast. Its not going to prepare itself you know. I'm almost finished anyway but I still haven't cooked the rice, I know it'll be burnt just by the time it'll take for me to wake you up." Alessandro was unrelentless and continued to throw her shade. Moreover, as the words hit her on the face, she just glared at him but kept quiet. She removed the blanket covering her frame and lifted herself up to sit on the edge of the bed before standing and following Alessandro behind.

Agnes, left the bed still sleepy. She grumbled some discontents and continued to bicker with her brother as she made her way down the stairs and headed straight for the kichen. She was not a morning person, even if she's 18 years of age. She was never able to wake up like those morning people. Her thoughts wondered here and there but she was still able to help her brother prepare breakfast. Alessandro called to rest of their family and eventually the rest came down for breakfast.

As much as she envied her brother for his cooking skills and intelligence. She was still grateful for having him as her brother, besides, it was entirely her fault that he was not even able to get some peaceful sleep.

"Urg. San-san[1], you're not the only one who was not even able to get a wink of sleep. Just when I thought that I'll be able to sleep, you suddenly barged into our room." Agnes' mom, Talisa, mutters while yawning.

Carlisle, Agnes' father said nothing, he also couldn't get a wink of sleep yesterday... This early morning rather, but he felt that Talisa scolding Agnes would be enough. He won't say anything to further deepen the guilt of his eldest daughter so early in the morning but subtly he also agreed with his wife's scolding, soundlessly agreeing to everything she said.

Unlike mom and dad who were both light sleepers, not to mention, the nearest to Agnes' room. Brion, the youngest of the four siblings, kept quiet, he slept like a log yesterday. Meanwhile Beatrix, the third sibling among the four of them, was distracted on her phone that she did not even bother to join in the conversation.

Just before, when Agnes felt guilt for setting her alarm so early, now she feels ashamed. She quickly apologised to her mother, not forgetting to mutter strings of affection to appease her mother. "As long as you wake up then the alarms are useful, if you have no intention of waking up, then don't even bother." Talisa stated clearly and repremanded her.

Agnes had to coax her mother for a long time before she finally forgave her. By the time all of there were ready her father already prepared the things to be sorted out on the car. "Dibs on the front!" Brion exclaims excitedly, the rest of the siblings left him off, except for Alessandro who glared at him not forgetting to say "idiot" in an audible voice enough for Brion to hear. Brion frowned slightly, I felt drama stirring and said in sisterly wise voice, "That's enough, we'll be late if you start stupid fights just because of petty reasons". I glared at both of them. They both grumbled strings of incoherent words but nothing too bad, so I left them off.

Dad started the car and drove off the direction of my younger siblings' school first because all of them attend the same school. Unlike my school, Highland Academy, none of my siblings appear to have any interest in attending different schools, other than their current choice.

Their school, Imperium Sacris Institute, was obviously held to such a high regards that they seem so fascinated by it. Not even batting an eye for another school. Agnes was clueless, whether her siblings had some suitors or beloved that all of them was so enamoured or whether that school's standard was regarded highly due to trained personnel or updated facilities possessing up-to-date equipments. As to the reason it captured her siblings interest, she had no idea. Still, she did not care and didn't join in the bandwagon by attending it with them. She finds it too troublesome. As to the hidden surface of that school's interior, she did not give any thoughts whatsoever.

What bothered her however, were the way her siblings would behave... secretive, too secretive in fact. She would see them whispering quietly in a secluded corner, almost to the point of a faint whisper, as if afraid someone might find them, hear those whispers and use those things against them. At first she didn't mind, but as time continue to pass by, she grew annoyed at the fact.

Agnes swore in her heart, Imperium Sacris Institute was nothing but trouble. She would rather find an affordable local school, which will lessen the financial burden off her parents shoulders, instead of going there.

She did find one, Highland Academy, a local school with a low tuition fee requirement, able to produce "internationally competent proffessionals" as they would phrase it. Even though they were not rich, she knew that, as the eldest among her siblings, she should consider a relatively affordable school. Afterall, there was four of them. College is not cheap.
