7 Roadblock

"Let's go," Vance said as he jumped in the head of Jawsh.

"Go where?" Jawsh questioned.

"You want to morph into a shadow walker right we gotta find one meow!"

"Do you know where one lives?" Jawsh questioned adjusting the cat on his head.

"Kinda, meow!"

As Jawsh moved out of the alley.

"But you are too weak, nyaw!" Vance said, causing Jawsh to stop in his tracks.

"Yes, you are right I cant just rob a dragon at lvl6 I need to level up." Jawsh turned and started to walk towards the mission NPCs that would give easy experience.

"Ah, younglings do you think u can help me deliver this wood to the house of....." as the old man said a prompt appeared in front of Jawsh.

"Yes, I will deliver these for you elder."

"Ah! Thank you youngling."

[ You have accepted the quest ]

Jawsh started to do missions with the low ranking of E and F to get his Lvl to increase as the mobs outside the city were at the minimum Lvl 10 and he couldn't just fight them now.

"At this rate, it would take us years before we could rob the dragon, nya!" the black cat sitting atop his white hair complained.

Jawsh remained silent, not responding to the comments of the cat.

He spent the next two in-game days to Lvl up to 9.

"Only two more levels to go before I can attempt to get the shadow walker blood."

Glancing around him Jawsh realized he was not the only one in the city now, many more players from the surrounding starter towns had begun gathering in the city.

As more and more players entered into the city taking away missions that were limited in number to decrease.

Jawsh looked at the time in the panel in front of him, noticing the whole day had passed as he was playing the game and it was probably the next day in real-world which meant he had to go to work.

"Urgh the job is going to be a major roadblock in slowing down my progress," Jawsh grumbled as he entered an inn and slept into one of the beds he had paid for.

[ Do you want to log off ]

"Yes"

Jawsh opened his eyes seeing the capsule opening slowly,

"Gotta work" Jawsh grumbled as he freshened up and went to mess to have his breakfast.

Typing away at his work Jawsh was truly missing the excitement of adventure in Imperium,

"Man, I really wanna go back inside.." a voice from behind his chamber was heard by him.

Jawsh connected it to being Henry, who was also playing the Imperium sharing the same feeling like him.

Feeling pretty bored Jawsh stood up from his desk and exited his chamber, poking his head inside Henry's chamber to see him tapping away in the air.

"Hey, Henry!" Jawsh called out.

"Hey, Jawsh how's it going man?" Henry said as he pushed a button making another chair appear in the chamber.

Jawsh sat down on the chair before asking, "So how was your gaming session?"

"Man, I almost forgot that you have gotten yours too, and here I was sad that I had no one to share the stuff with...."

Henry starts narrated his whole Imperium journey as if he was waiting for someone to just ask him.

Jawsh nodded his head along the way realizing that Henry had selected mage as his profession and now was grinding mobs to raise intelligence, he was already lvl8.

"Why don't you try studying in the library?"

"The library?" Henry looked at him confused.

"Oh, your city must have a library if you study there you can raise your intelligence pretty quick think of it as extra stats that you could gain." Jawsh tried to help his friend by divulging a trick that he had learned from his documents as he was sure it would soon be known to many quickly he just wanted to give his friend an edge.

"Ohh, that's new, I will try it."

"I heard that there's no auto-aim for mages?" Jawsh asked knowing the answer but curious about Henry's opinion on the matter playing as a mage.

"Yes man it sucks but I will get used to it."

Jawsh agreed as he felt that mages and archers would have to accept the arrangement. He also felt the warriors would also have a hard time learning the motion of weapons, it's weight and other intricate details of using a melee weapon.

Jawsh spent the whole day and finally when he was discharged from work he hopped into the game.

[ Welcome Back ]

Jawsh left the inn and made his way to find more missions to complete.
