1 Xavier

It was the year 1000. Humanity had started to develop. Superstitions and Mythologies that previously ran the society had lost their influence on it. Unrealistic beliefs were left behind and Science was acknowledged by majority of the world. Humans were now what's known as being civilised. In this newly civilised world, in a country called Iran, there was a boy named Xavier.

Xavier was a fine young man. He had smooth fair skin, blue eyes as deep as the ocean and teeth brighter than ivory. His thick and wavy hair spread all the way down to his eyes, covering most of his forehead, seemingly wearing a disguise of some sort. His eyes shone through the tiny crevices of his hair giving him somewhat of a blurry vision. He had a perfect jawline and baby pink lips. The locals referred to him as the "perfect boy". Even though he was young, his appearance often made him the center of attention.

Xavier was a stubborn and mischievous child. He didn't obey the orders of his elders and caused trouble around the house. He often got scolded for it and when he did, he would run away from home. That day wasn't an exception. Xavier had broken a valuable family monument while playing inside the house. His father found out about it and was furious. He called Xavier to the living room and scolded him a lot. This made him very angry and so he ran away from home. He went to his usual hiding spot where no one could find him. It was a beautiful lakeside. No one but birds and animals could be seen around there. It was a quiet place which was perfect for him to have some time for himself. Xavier knew this place like it was his own house. However, there was one side of that lakeside Xavier had never been to. It's entrance was surrounded by trees making the view of the other side almost invisible. It's mundane appearance never caught his attention until that day.

Xavier was lying down on the grass, thinking to himself, "what did I do wrong? It was just a mistake why did dad have to scold me this much, he must really hate me". Displeased at his own thoughts he turned over and suddenly noticed a faint light coming from a certain direction. The light peaked his curiosity. He wanted to know where it came from. So he got up and followed it which lead him to the entrance of the other side. Being rather small in size, he was easily able pass through the trees. By the time he was at the other side his vision was almost completely blinded. The area was dimly lit. He couldn't see anything because of the darkness. The only thing that was visible was the faint light. He went farther into the area persistent on wanting to reach the source of the light. When he was finally able to catch a glimpse of it, he was dumb founded from what he had witnessed.
