34 Let the Seed Grow

The master clenched his fists and gritted his teeth. The next moment his hand was in the air aiming for Aster's cheek. Inches before his hands reached Aster's cheeks, it stopped in mid air.

The master could feel something blocking his hands from moving any further. He looked down at the place where he felt the pressure. He saw Aster's grip on his armoured hands. Aster's grip was strong. The master couldn't let his hands free from that grip. He tried shaking his hands free. Still couldn't free his hand. The hold was too strong to breakfree.

That was when he looked into Aster's eyes. The boy's blue eyes.....It had something in them. Something which was never seen in ordinary people. His blue eyes shined more brightly. The flames of the burning stadium reflected in his eyes. His eyes were burning with fury. His eyes pronounced wisdom, strength, courage and most importantly self-respect. His eyes pronounced a need. A need to become stronger, wiser and most of all to be alive.

Aster was not looking at his opponent. He was looking at the flames. The same flames were burning in his heart now. He fire to be the strongest of all. The master understood that Aster was strong. More stronger than he had expected. He couldn't bear to let him grow. At the same time, he wanted to have a taste of his strength. Just to confirm that he was the strongest in the universe.

The master wanted to see how far Aster would go to fight him. The master now had a change of heart. He wanted the seed to grow. Grow as much as possible. Grow to such an extend that it becomes a tree. But then, when the tree bears its first flower, he would cut it. Cut its trunk to pieces and uproot the tree forever. So that it would never rise again.

The master grinned at his own thoughts. He couldn't wait to kill that tree inch by inch. Scratching it at first and then cutting it hard until it bleds to death.

Aster suddenly realised that he was holding on to the master's hand. He did nothing more than bringing down. He looked into the master's eyes. Their gazes met. For the first time the master didn't want to kill him. Aster felt the change in the master's mood. He looked at his face closely but was unable to see hidden contempt.

Aster tried to attack him. He raised his hands and moved his fingers. But the master caught hold of his hands and said without even looking at his eyes.

"I'm giving you a chance. Run for your life now. If you refuse, I'll will not spare you."

Tania was hearing this for the first time. In all the years she had living with the master, she had never seen heard him say this. She also knew that the master would never lie. If he says Aster could go, that means he could go. Tania saw Aster looking at the devil, confused.

Aster wanted to fight. But, his friends and Tania were still not safe. He wanted to get them back to his planet. If he fight and die, maybe, they will have to die too. But now the devil infront of him was giving g him a chance. He could go. But he didn't know to what extend it was true.

"Aster leave!!! Leave now!!!" Tania shouted, now, standing up on her feet.

She looked at Eren and Sienna who wanted Aster to do the same. Seeing Aster's look, they were sure that he was confused. He couldn't decide between the two options he had. Aster just stared at their direction.

Sienna couldn't stand it any longer. She wanted Aster to be safe no matter what. It was not because it was her duty. But because Aster was her friend. A friend who sticks with her through thick and thin.

"Just, run now Aster. He will kill you if you stay." She shouted at him.

Aster looked directly at the devil. He just smiled at Aster. A hidden smirk, which Aster did not notice, was hidden behind that genuine smile.

"ASTERRR!" Sienna screamed. "Come here now or else you can see me die before you are killed by that demon."

Before Aster could respond Sienna had already rushed towards him. She took housed of his hands and dragged him towards the entrance of the stadium.

Dumbfounded by Sienna's action, the others in the stadium began to follow Sienna's lead. That was all they could do.

"STOP!" They heard a loud, disgusting thunder.

All of them stopped at their steps and looked at the master.

"Today I'm letting you go doesn't mean I'll never come for you again."

Aster clenched his fists and wanted to go back and fight. Sienna and Eren held him back.

"And you- you traitor will be never forgiven. I will kill you with my own hands. The very hands with which I killed your parents. Hahahaha..." He let out a wild laugh. Even Tania wanted to fight, but she controlled herself and walked out without even turning back once. Eren and Sienna dragged Aster out. Huda and her children meekly followed. The Master's laugh could still be heard even after thay came out of the stadium.

Without waiting even for a moment, she opened the dimensional door and asked all of them to pass to their planet. She had now made up her mind to leave that palace forever. She had de idea to go with them to Earth.

Last time, she came back here only because they needed someone to keep watch of the things going on in Depcod. But, now she would no longer stay there. It would not just make her unable to take revenge, but also open up an opportunity for the Depcodians to force her to open that door and take toll on Earth.

Huda never wanted to go away from the planet. It is where her husband rests. She cannot leave it. Even though Aster and the others persuaded her to go with them, she declined the offer. She did not want to be a burden on them.

She said goodbye to Tania and hugged her tight. Tears ran down their eyes. Tania patted on the children's head and smiled at them. She had considered them her siblings. Parting with them was difficult. The three children smiled back at her.

Tania asked Aster and the others to pass through the door and then she herself jumped up into the door that opened in the sky.
