35 Another Jay

"Jay is upstairs sir, we respect your work as heroes a lot." She said as she pointed up the stairs. Tom headed up the slim stairway and knocked on Jay's bedroom door.

"Come in!" He shouted. Tom then walked in to to see an assortment of loads of games and consoles all around the room.

"Jay, what I'm about to ask is very important." Said Tom as seriously as he could.

"Yeah mate, super dude, whatever you're called. Fire away." Responded this foreign Jay.

"Do you have super powers. It's a big question I know but be truthful."

After a long pause Jay responded, "how do you know? I have never used them, I refuse to use them, I never told anyone I had them."

Tom followed up with, "Ok do you know if Simon and Olli do?"

"They do, they both told me a few years ago and they showed me them as well. Simon can shoot electricity and Olli becomes some Thing, I don't know what."

"And you never formed a team with them and Tom. It would be legendary."

"I never did because I don't want to be a hero, when I got powers I was about to tell everyone but I held back, those three told me and each other but didn't want to make a team as they feel I would slowly lose them. I don't want to be a hero. Ok power man."

Tom stood and stared into Jay's eyes seeing that this alien Jay meant every word.

"Ok I'll be off then. Thank you. I'm The Stone Ninja by the way." He said as he left in the feeling of pain that his Jay may feel the same way or at least did.

Joe walked around the town hoping to not find Joe but unfortunately he did.

"Joesph! I'm a superhero! We need to talk!" He yelled as he grew closer to himself.

"Are you a new Imparable or something mate?"

"Yes, kind of. I have a question. Do you... and it's a strange question. Do you have super powers?"

"No I'm sorry sir I wish i did though it would be amazing if I did."

"Trust me you do and you don't at the same time. Thank you for your time." He said as he turned around and left. He went back to the base and sat beside the others knowing that his other self was powerless. Then Tom came through the portal and he took off his tearful mask.

"They have powers. But as you know there isn't the Imparables there. That Jay said he didn't want to be a hero and said that he almost said he did."
