4 Voices

'A-Alto, please wake up,' a beautiful voice is calling me. Then, I feel a droplet lands on my cheek and brings my consciousness back. Opening my eyes, I see the tearing face of Alta looking down at me worriedly with a bright light illuminating above her head.

Immediately, after I wake up, once again I'm in her embrace while she's sobbing on my shoulder. This time I didn't freeze. I slowly put my arms around her.

'I-I'm sorry,'

'Alto, please don't do that again,' I feel her arms getting tighter around me.

'I'm sorry. I will probably do it again, but I won't ever disappear and leave you. I promise,' I probably should have realize this sooner after multiple times of being unconscious, that I can't get out of this place. Also, the most important realization is that all of this is real. So, that's why I say I won't ever leave her because she is a real person and it she needs me here.

Also, about wishing till I faint, that I can't make a promise. I know there would be a possible time in the future where I have to use the power of this wishing.

She slowly lets go of me and looks at me with a bit of disappointment in her eyes, but she probably understand why I can't stop making wishes. Then, her wet eyes suddenly turns to serious.

'If Alto want to make wishes, Alta would do it to,' I could only smile at her determination for this.

'Alright,'

The first thing I notice something different about this place is, of course, the sunlight. The other would that black ice has all melt and replace by this dark color sea surrounding us that stretches all the way to the horizon. I really sleep for a long time for all this to happen. Once again, I apologize to Alta for waiting for me to wake up all alone. Alta says she would wait for me no matter how long it took. Her words make my eyes kinda watery. This girl is truly precious.

'Alto. Is that the Sun?,' Alta points up.

'Yes. Do you like it?' She replies with a vigorous nod.

'It's really pretty. Not like this wet thing around us. What is it?' She splashes the brackish water with her hands.

'That's water...I think,' I mean who could know if this is even water? It's overall black and benign looking. Also, I realize that the waters are only knee-deep. I scoop up what's beneath the black waters, it seems there's only this black dirt. Seriously. This world is unique, but really dull. Just dirt and water.

So, lets wish for something.

'Alta, I'm gonna make another wish,'

'Wait! Let's make the wish together,' she comes up to me holding my hand in hers. Now, of course, I have the power to make wishes, but what about her?

'Alta, can you really make wishes?'

'Alta doesn't know, but Alta will try,' she says so while she closes her eyes trying to concentrate.

'What are you wishing?'

'Alta is wishing for Alto to be happy here with Alta,' I could only laugh at how pure her wish is. However, I don't think she has the ability to make wishes, so how about I wish to make her be able to wish? Thus, I close my eyes as well. As per normal, the fatigue and headache succumbs me. But, this time, I didn't faint. Only feeling really tire like after an aerobic workout.

Opening my eyes, I could see some changes on Alta. She's glowing. Her rainbow chromatic hair is shining. Wow. Also, to top things even more, her hair is floating, like there's no gravity. Freely flowing in the air.....Wait, this place has no air, or to be more precise, no atmosphere.

I don't really mind communicating with Alta through this telepathic way, but it would be nice to hear her voice from her own lips.

'Hey, Alta. Let's wish for air,' she opens back her eyes and I'm surprise to see her eyes are also glowing.

'Air?' she tilts her head while asking me.

'It's something that's everywhere and can't be seen,'

'Alta don't know what that is, but lets just wish it together,' we join our hands together and close our eyes. I can feel more warmth from her hands.

With another wave of feeling tire and headaches, I could slowly feel some breeze on my skin. The black water surface slowly shows some natural ripples. Everywhere on the water surface, tiny waves begin to appear. After a while, I suddenly feel her hands slipping from mine. Looking to my side, I see her sits down in the water.

'Is this how it feels to make wishes?,' she looks pale and the lights oh her eyes and hair starts to dim a little.

"Are you alright?" She looks up at me with wide eyes and gaping mouth. Hearing my voice for the first time, I guess surprises her that much.

" I can talk!" She's jumping up and down with gleeful smile on her face. Also, her huge front package is just bouncing, so I can't really look at her.

"Alto, what are we going to wish next?" Hmm, what are we going to wish next?

"I think I'm gonna wish for a Moon," this idea literally comes from peaking at her bosom.
