"Saints, you mean the organisation who control eastern region of Aslan and western region of Bardi ".

Sage said with a look of disbelief in her eyes as she had heard something out of this world.

"Let me say this to clear out any misunderstanding we only manages aspect out of legal matters".

Eon clarified Sage's previous sentence with a disagree look on his face while he hand over he the tab.

"You are indirectly saying that you handle illegal matters".

Sage replied Eon with a matter of fact face as she review the information contained in the tab.

"I am not saying anything like that you are saying that".(Eon)

"Then what are you saying?"(Sage)

"I am saying I am only manages aspect out of legal matters".

Sage look skeptically and said with a straight face

"Cut the bullshit and directly tell me why are you here on first place and showing me deal with full of advantages?"

"I am here to recruit you that's it, nothing else".

Eon said with a relaxed face while leaning his back comfortably on the sofa while folding his legs and hand behind head.

Sage ponder for a while after reviewing the the information on the tab which was infact a contract.

The contract are normally done in tab rather than the paper works. Tab which are use for deals are standalone tab which do not have any internet access. This tab has A.I. tech which make a contract , share it with other tabs, find any loopholes in the contract and the best thing about this type of tabs are that A.I. contain information of all the clauses there in the official reccord.

"So you are saying you came all the way here to recruit me only. No back story of my mom telling you about my organisation, my future deals and all. Come with a clean slate now's last chance to show me how much integrity you have".

Lin who was sitting beside Eon paying attention to Sage was having a sharp look on her eyes as someone has step over her weakspot. She was about to replied to Sage, but stop by Eon as he said.

"As my integrity is in question I like to say that you know the answer to that".

Sage who was having a naive expression on her face changes to a serious one.

"Now you are getting serious Sage. Why the hell did you not do that from the start".

Eon said with a amusing look on his as he straighten his posture.

"If I did show you how serious I was from start I bet I will be still thinking of your mysterious past".

Sage had a smirk expression on her face as she sign the deal on the tab and pass it to Eon.

"How long are you pretending to not to know about the matter for which I am truly here for".

Eon had the same amusing look on his face as he paid no heed to Sage comment and changes the subject.

"I am not pretending anything because there is no public announcement yet. As for the matter I will refuse if I had any say in this".(Sage)

"Everyone has a weak spot and mine is my old man I cannot cross him and as for you they are your responsibility as the future empress"(Eon)

"Unfortunately you are right so about this I propose you a new deal, which is go out with me or find anyone else to marry you".

"Hm…here's the third option you find someone's else to marry you I back off, until then just let pretend to see each other".

As Eon finishes his sentence he lean back on sofa with a casual look on his face.

Sage ponder for a while and look back at Edgar who was pretty much ignore during the entire conversation was standing behind her and said

"I will take the third opt——".

"Edgar is out of questions cause he already engaged to someone else and I don't want my dear friend here to convict a felony for our little amusement ".

Before Sage even complete her sentence Eon interrupt her.

"Why did you say so?"

"Casue woman with geat ambitious have hard time finding her otherhalf".

"You are underestimating me Eon".

"Am I?".

"If you are so confident in your abilities how about a wager".

"What's in there for me?".

"If you will give you acess to the 4th quadrant of the Bardi empire and if I win you will join Scarlett Valor and never quit".

As Eon heard the wager and instantly a awe expression plaster over his face.

"Do you really understand what it's mean to give me acess to 4th quadrant?".

"That quadrant is just one of the strategic point of Bardi it's just that old geezers there like to keep things to themselves".

Eon heard what she said and ponder for a whole and said

"Let's add this to wager that is, how about we make each other fall in love with one another. Like if you make me fall in love with you it's your win and vice versa. What do you think?".

Sage was having a hard time pondering over the rule over the wager. She ponder for a while before answering.

"The bets are on the table now only question remains if you honour the bet and not act like sore loser"

"Don't worry about that my words are absolute and no one can change my commitment, except sometime".

Sage went into daze as Eon completed the sentence and said.

"Dont give your word if you can't keep it".

Eon ignore her sentence and gets up along with Lin and walk to the door and said while waving his hand.

"Remember to cancel the deal by saying "Annihilator had order" and don't forget the bet and yeah most important thing if they refuse call me ".

As Eon and Lin walked out of the Sage who was looking at the tab turned her attention to Edgar and said.

"What do you think about his offer and the bet?".

Edgar who was standing at side sat down on sofa and replied.

"As far as I am concern we should take the deal but before that we should focus our attention on winning the bet cause I think it will be easy for you win this".

"Which part do you think?"

"That's an uncharted territory which you have to sought out yourself ".

Sage went into a deep thought which was interrupted by Edgar

"What about the deal we had arranged?".

"Cancel it tell them it's Annihilator".

Sage order without hesitation and again went into deep thought.

Eon was walking toward his room with Lin which was in L floor.

"What do you think about her?".

Suddenly Eon spoke to Lin which leave her in deep thought before she answered the question.

"Still growing need sometime, to play the game properly".

"Playing game is child's play what I really want from her is to play the man".

"A man who tries to control everyone is preparing someone to play the man sound pretty dubious to me"

Eon stopped his track and stare at Lin who had walked past him.

"Do you take me a that kind of man?"

"I do not take you as that kind of man but that man itself"

"Hey I have no such tendencies"

"Using a man weaknesses and make him do all yours shady deals is the type of person you are"

"Hey come on now you know that man cross me first by interrupting my drug deal".

As Eon said this Lin looked back playfully at him and said with a coy smile.

"What do you think a drug inspector do for their living"

Eon looked at Lin for some time with a speechless expression and said.

"I am going for some hunt if you want than hooked up then come along".

As Eon said this he made his way towards the pub in the spaceship.

Lin looked at Eon's back before following him and asked

"Won't you drive her away from you after all the commotion you are gonna cause there? "

"It's for her best and......…..We have plenty of time to discuss about that"
