7 Chapter 7 Extra Meat

Lucis torn away his ragged shirt and circling his energy, activate his battle aura ready for battle.

After calming his mind, he step inside the cave while pouring energy in his eyes to see inside the dark cave.

His tense up muscles quickly rest down and he let a long sigh as soon as he's inside the cave. The cave is barely 10 meters deep and as small as his house.

After circling a couple more time inside the cave, hes full of disappointment.

"apart from the tiger mark, this cave is empty.. As empty as my mud house.." he let another long sigh and sat down in the cave.

"I'm not expecting much for treasure, but there's not even a cub here. The novel is make me have too high of expectations. I thought the red jade finally have some use.. what did I get? The smell of that tiger urine." he literally cursing inside the cave and getting angry. He even regretting fighting the tiger so hard. He thought he could take the tiger cub after killing the parents.

"but why did the tiger come here?" he brushed his chin looking around once more expecting some surprise.

"maybe I should use this as my immortal cave from now on." he stand up and walk to the back of the cave. The wall is not that particularly rare stone and there's no amazing rare ore either.

"fck this, I should get stronger first before thinking about cave." with that, he turn around and leave the cave feeling more dissapoinment with every step.

He step down the small slop toward the river and head to where there's big river rock gathered to cross the river back.

After crossing the river, he walk about 10 minutes and bump against a wild boar. Just in time to release some stress.

As soon as the boar saw him, it quickly make a 180 turn and charging away fleeing for it's life. The boar is considered to be big if he's back on earth. It's height reach Lucis waist but the wild boar surprisingly so coward. It ran as soon as it saw human.

Back at DragonFort village.

Dini keep walking back and forth near Lucis mud house. The elder look at her and shake their head and continue cutting up the beast.

"it's look like someone gonna get married soon." Lumin laugh looking at Dini

"it's too soon, I think my daughter is the best match for mister Lucis."

"keep dreaming, my daughter can make a beautiful clothes. She's definitely the better choice." Kunan humph look dissatisfied.

"bah, I have a pond of carp in my backyard and I'm gonna give it to my granddaughter. She's the ideal wife type, can do all those house chore." one of the elder snort loudly. His hand is still wrapped by a bandage. Broken by the beast paw.

"I second that!" one if the younger men nod in agreement. He secretly like the elder granddaughter but he's already supporting 2 wives in his house.

"Nah, mister Lucis should be with my daughter. Kuji is the second best hunter in this village after me. She's more suitable." Boris snort disagreements. Out of all the people in the village, he's the only one that look tough and have enough muscles. He's the only hunter in the village.

Almost all the villager gathered around at the back village near Lucis house looking at the huge beast. Most of them look terrified by the huge tiger head while the rest is excited with the huge amount of meat, specially the kids in the village. They rarely have this much meat because Boris usually sold the meat at the nearby village.

"uncle look!" one of the kid tugged one of the farmers shirt. He pointed at the path towards the mountain.

Some of the elders turn and look at what the kids pointing at.

Gasp! The elders went quiet.

Everyone turn their head. Lucis casually walk over while carrying a huge boar on his shoulder like it is a normal thing. Just the size between Lucis and the boar on his shoulder is already shockingly amazing. It's almost the size of 3 Boris.

"it's mister Lucis!" shout elder Dun.

Dini almost like a statue standing shocked fixing her gaze at Lucis walking in front of her. She have a lot of things she wants to say but doesn't know where to start. Lucis walking towards them without shirt and his skinny body filled with muscles making her embarrassed to continue looking.

Lucis drop the boar near the villager group and pat his shoulder. " extra meat, distribute to everyone." he said it casually but aching of anger still lingering on his expression. The wild boar doesn't even fighting back when he kill it.

Suddenly everyone throws into commotion. They quickly circling the boar sizing up the dead boar and Lucis. Specially the mothers and grandmother, sizing Lucis seriously for son-in-law candidates while the men look at him with awe and reverence. Not only he gave away that huge beast, he even add extra boar. Even Boris never hunt something this big.

"are you sure mister Lucis? This is easily 30 silver." Boris look at him feeling incredulous. That amount of money could support him a couple months.

Lucis nod and look at Elder Dun refusing more conversations. "are there any place I can wash here?"

"here, here, there's a river down hill. I can guide you there." before anyone can speak, Dini jump in near Lucis making some of the girl frown looking at her.

"thank you." Lucis nod at Elder Dun and the gang before following Dini towards the river.

The rest of the girls look at Lucis feeling regret that they're not fast enough. All of them have similar though "if only I'm bold enough earlier".

Everyone is still in dazed looking at Lucis walking away. He casually gave them all 2 huge meat pie like he didn't care at all.

"okay, okay, let's cut this one too. Everyone, in the village will get some." elder Dun quickly organize the men's. The work load is just getting pile up with another huge boar.

"elder, there's so many meat here. Maybe we can sell some to GreenCap village." Boris feel it's a waste to just give everyone the meat. They could gain a couple silver with all the meat here especially the beast meat. It could sell for a gold in the right market.

"Boris, didn't you hear what mister Lucis said earlier. You shouldn't have any thoughts."

"yeah, you should've seen how he fought this tiger bare handed."

"but.. "Boris frown looking at all the meat on the ground.

"that's enough. We should be grateful instead of trying to make a fortune here." one if the elder finally can't take Boris attitude anymore. He always sell the meat expensive even within the village and doesn't bother how hard everyone life are.

"look at all of us, skinny and lack of muscle. It's good that we can have a meat to eat, why bother selling it." Kunan retort. He pat his skinny hand that lack fat though his muscles is tight.

"enough of that, we should party tonight haha" the middle age Lumin pat the huge boar.

"Boris, I remember you have that blue wine from last year. Take it out for us hehe"

Boris suddenly feel like he's about to get poor instead of getting richer. All the men similar age looking at him with evil smile.

"that's.. That's my savings. I save it for for my daughter wedding." he spend 50 silver to buy it last year from the traveling merchant that come in their village. He's very proud about it and brag to the villagers for a month's.

"so cheap. You have a whole jar in there. Just share with us half of it. This is a happy day."

"right, right, look at all the injury we got. We're almost died if not because mister Lucis. This is call for a celebration."

And that's how they managed to get half jar of Boris blue wine.
