Maxxy instantly got into a fighting stance when he realised there was a change in the environment. His right hand drifted around the handle of his weapon. The last thing he remembered was a strange girl hitting him in the chest just seconds before he was transported somewhere else.

He took some time to register what was around him.

He relaxed slightly when he noticed a woman in front of him, as well as an older man not too far away. The woman had a red hood. She had blond hair and red eyes. Maxxy had not seen her with her hood down before, and at that moment, her hair was trapped beneath the cloak still. Not too far away was another member of the Gold-levelled Adventurers squad. The old man carried a bag and a single sword as his only weapon. He leaned against a wall.

Ruby clapped her hands. "Alright! We got everyone together!"

Maxxy sensed playfulness in her voice and actions, as well as sluggishness.
