1 Exiting Seclusion

"...Sigh... It seems I've reached the pinnacle of "Music", ehh... My creativity has reached its limits"

Inside a rather ordinary house in the middle of nowhere; where the vast horizon of flowers was sprouted into the endless surrounding, a young man with golden hair sigh as he put down his fountain pen.

Taking a look outside his house - towards the horizon - he sighs once again, stood up, and poured himself a cup of coffee.

"It's already been too long since I'd became a hermit in this place, err... How many years, I can't remember. Times surely works in wonder, *sigh*. Even towards like me, an Immortal." He says and sighs once again before sitting down on a chair outside his house.

That's right, he was an Immortal. To be more clearer, he was a son of a powerful Immortal, hence the reason he attained this kind of power and privilege to live eternity.

His age is approximate 23,300 years old. He already forgets what his actual age is but he was sure he's at least between that number. After all, living for eternity and celebrating a birthday can be tedious... To him at least, and also for his siblings. Yes, he has siblings.

Actually, their family is the one who's controlling the entire Universe right now; keeping life in every corner of the entire Universe.

Because of circumstances, their father was forced to kill every Immortal who's wreaking havoc on each civilization's planet. The reason is, a certain Immortal tried to wipe out a planet which coincidentally where their father resides, having a blissful time with his family.

Starting with that their father notices that if this keeps up no life would remain in the Universe.

With him and their older brother and two sisters, they hunt every single Immortal. No Immortal remains in that Era except for their family.

And the rest was history, their father falls in love every millennium to a woman, hence their lineage grew exponentially, producing a child that can attain Immortality, 1 out of 3 in every child. And one of those children is him.

Their father wasn't a tyrant, he loves every child he has with his countless deceased wife that died due to old age. He gives every child a choice if they wanted to be Immortal or not. If his child chooses the former, he would do his best to teach his child to attain Immortality but of course, the results still depend on his child. If the latter, he would do his best to give them a fulfilling life. That's how gentle their father is, devoid of materialistic desires, living a peaceful life somewhere else in the universe. Where? Who knows? Maybe, he already has a new family without him knowing.

As for his siblings, others must've been busy helping certain planet civilizations to be prosperous, flourishing the world to be a better place, a utopia... Whilst others were must be having their fun around the universe, trolling mortals or helping them, or like him, having a peaceful yet fulfilling life.

However, it seems his peaceful life would be over soon. His hobbies are already been burn out, he can't produce any songs anymore, and other hobbies too like cooking, knitting, building, farming, etc. He's already mastered all of it a long time ago but "Music" is different.

Just like before, he experienced this kind of difficulty, mastering a certain musical instrument. Guitar to Violin, Piano to Electric Piano, so on and so forth. Traditional or not, his mastery of all of it can be called godly.

"Looks like I need to go for adventures yet again for inspiration, or discover a new musical instrument to master... Hope the latter would be possible..."

As always, if he ever sought what he seeks, he will be going to seclusions once again, again, and again.

"I should clean the house for a lil' bit before departing."

Then he started cleaning his house in an old fashioned way, mopping the floor, dusting the ceiling, and meticulously cleaning the corner of the window for possible accumulated dust.

Although he can do all of this with just a wave of his hand, he preferred to do this to entertain himself. His antics can be traced to his father who enjoyed a peaceful life as a mortal and to his mother to who likes to serve his husband. And his likes towards "Music" also came from his mother as well.

Needless to say, he likes or preferred this kind of lifestyle as it always helps entertained himself against the burden of being lonely.

Then why not go have a family you may ask? The answer is simple, he doesn't want to experience again losing someone dear to him, the faith his mother couldn't escape, dying in old age.

Yor D' Whiterose, his mother, died at the age of 2,337.

His father is an experience Immortal, he can prolong someone's life that's why his mother reaches that age despite being mortal, the same as the other wife of his father.

Although his father is an Immortal, including him and his siblings, they still couldn't alter the "Law of the Universe", or go against it. Fighting the Law of the Universe is taboo unless you are courting death.

That's why even how many times his father reinforced his mother's soul to live, only times is needed before her soul be completely recycled by the universe.

That is the "Law of the Universe", nothing is permanent, things are destined to cease to exist. Even them... And only the future could tell when it is.

Of course, they have measurements against the predicament, they could revive themselves, again and again, however, living eternity could somewhat be so tiring. His other siblings took their life because of it, the emotion of losing every dear to them while they could only watch and could do nothing about them. That's the pros and cons of being Immortal...

"That should be enough!" He exclaimed seeing the house was spotless of dust and dirt.

"Now, what should I do? Should I visit some of my siblings or just go straight to adventures? Hmmm..." He contemplated what his plan next. "Okay. I should go to visit some of my siblings first. After all, it's already been too long since I'd seen them. Maybe we already have a new member of the family without me knowing, I should give them some gifts to starts our relationship being a family."

Then he disappeared, and the next moment he was already traversing the vast universe with lightning speed.
