Hacking and arrival at Oscorp

The classes went by as I sat in the last row corner and worked on my laptop. I didn't need to listen to the lectures and teachers usually didn't bother the backbenchers.

I was currently on a famous worldwide hacking forum. Here people could do some small hacking jobs that are not too illegal, and you need higher membership to get higher paying job requests. I was a new member there currently and was going through the guides that experienced people have given in the past and have been buried under a large number of threads.

I was going through them because hacking is not a simple thing, you need to be sure of every step of the plan before you start on a project, and I wanted to verify whether my plan was in any case vulnerable to being tracked because of some non-general knowledge, and I was right to assume that.

This world is quite shockingly well developed in the IT department. There were a few things and countermeasures that I had assumed to be enough that I found to be outdated so I started to improve my own defenses. When hacking, building your personal protection fortress first is more important than declaring wars on others hypothetically.

So, in these classes, I was updating my laptop(which was currently the only interconnected device I had except my phone) to be able to start hacking. I was done by the third period and had already stolen about 10million$ and put them in hidden accounts. It was a small amount, but it was sufficient for now when I was just testing myself.

I don't feel any guilt when stealing from accounts because I only stole from people who did illegal stuff like selling drugs and human traffickers. In fact, when searching them I got more and more disgusted by the amount of evil stuff that is going on in this world. People and children randomly disappearing from the poorer areas are commonplace and a lot of people of authority even support or are backers of such things.

It almost made me vomit when I found disturbing pictures of clearly abused children being sold in an auction on a remote island and identified some of the people there, people whom I had disregarded at the start of my search because their profiles looked comparatively cleaner.

I felt very helpless and distraught at seeing such cruelty. I may be no hero who would go out of my way to save everyone but I do have my humanity.

'I think...hmm...I don't think my earlier plan of lazy living will work. I can't live peacefully after knowing something like this. I am not inhuman enough to ignore this. I guess I will think about how to solve this later.' I hummed in thought while hiding my expressions.

As the bell rang, I stood up and packed my books in the bag, and left for the bus area where we were told to assemble. The fanboy in me for Gwen Stacy and the other characters in this world had settled in these two days after I had grown so much mentally in these two days. It did surprise me that Gwen Stacy was absent today, but I guess that's to be expected as she must be working at Oscorp and would maybe be giving a tour to us like in The Amazing Spider-Man movies.

Though I don't understand why she would do so? isn't she a student in our class herself? Wouldn't it be awkward? I sometimes don't understand this weird AU world.

Doesn't matter, I will just go and get the spider bite and then in a day or two try to talk to the Principal about skipping my high school classes. After the earlier revelations, I am in no mood to be a normal student. I had searched about such cases before on the web and I got to know that it isn't unusual for genius students to apply for graduation early.

There are all sorts of provisions for skipping studies, some people can get a degree if they show their qualifications in form of some test. This exposes them and gives them an opportunity to be recruited by famous companies. This works fine with me. Although it might bring me some fame for graduating early and getting an Engineering degree I think it would be worth it, for my personal satisfaction.

With these thoughts, I looked ahead as the bus stopped in the parking lot of Oscorp. I hadn't noticed time passing by, as we reached our destination.

Our homeroom teacher stood up and after quietening everyone down said, "Alright everyone now I want you all to leave the bus in an orderly manner and I expect everyone to be mindful and behave their best in there! Alright, let's go!" He got off the bus and we all followed behind in a single file...

A/N: Double chapter today~ I was in a good mood today and the story flowed well so I am happy :D It still took hours to write and edit this though xDDD I almost made him a potential villain worse than Thanos in one of the drafts xDDD (PS: consider that a new timeline xDDD where he goes all Ultron but with well developed multiple spidey powers) (You know what happens when an evil timeline appears right-----tch spoilers xD)
