3 Changing & Unchanging Events

Note: Please note that this is the very first Novel I started publishing on WebNovel platform on 22nd Dec 2020. It is an entry for the contest with the theme of "An Overpowered Male Lead who had cultivated to the highest level and is looking for a new challenge."

J B used his powers and turned back time to when he was 23 and transported to the planet 'Viridian' by the System. The difference being it was done by himself this time. Additionally, he still had the enhanced version of 'Wheel of Fortune' with him, which had combined with the 'Wheel of Destiny' as his main weapon.

Although strictly speaking, he doesn't need any weapon now. There is no 'Being' or 'Weapon' that could hurt him anyway.

It was December and a bit cold. He remembered that Liu Bin would be coming to find trouble with him right now. Thinking about it, his lips curled up into a smile. It was time to leave this shabby apartment and the security job anyway. Things will be definitely different this time.

He used his photographic memory and decided to publish books again this time. But, it won't be just one book. With his powers now, creating things with just a wave of his hand was extremely simple task. First, he created two hard copies of 'Zhu Xian'.

"I have to plagiarize again" he sighed. There were many famous works from authors of Earth that were not present in Viridian. Last time when he had published the modified version of 'Zhu Xian' it had become international bestseller, so it was obvious it would happen again.

He created username, account and did all the formalities for publishing a web-novel. He then posted a few chapters online and then sent a copy of the first 20 chapters to many publishers and agencies on email.

Then, from his memory of the time of his lectures in the previous timeline he created two more books, 'Contemporary Economics & Trade' and 'Future of Internet Technology' and sent the copies of first few chapters to publishers and agencies by email.

He also published few chapters in the Online Economic Forums. Last time, just typing few chapters of 'Zhu Xian' had left him exhausted, but now, it was all done in the blink of an eye. He made sure to send them all to the username 'second fatty'.

He also decided to change certain things with the timeline within acceptable level, so that he can reap additional benefits and provide early help to his friends and family. This was one of the reasons he decided to publish two additional books this time.

"Previously, I used to be low-key, so as to live freely and not attract attention, but it had also caused problems. This time, I don't need to do that. I can easily keep my public and private life separate. I can easily change my face, temperament, personality etc. People won't be able to identify me even in public anyway." Thinking this way, he smiled and smirked. "This time, it's gonna be much more fun."

Ever since he became a Supreme Being, he does not need to eat or sleep. However, he decided to do just that Since he wanted to have fun and enjoy life to the fullest!

After waking up in the morning, he started to organize his thoughts. Last time, things were accidental, this time he had to create certain plans in advance. He wanted to avoid killing as much as possible. Previously, saving everyone was not possible, but this time he could save many if not all.

He also decided to move in a way that positive connections he had formed previously will form again – early and in a better way. He would solve their problems and solve all his problems.

At the same time, he will make sure that trash of the society will be cleared out earlier. And rather than killing he would simply deprive them of their cultivation and abilities. That is why, it was imperative to make sure that a few events happened in a similar way to the previous timeline.

So he decided to wait for Liu Bin to come calling for him.

"Jiang, come down" Liu Bin shouted.

J B went down and then gave him a few slaps. Liu Bin's cronies were frightened out of their wits.

"What a loser", said J B. "Go tell your boss to come find me! You are just a pathetic little loser. I hope he comes soon and don't run away." J B ridiculed and provoked him.

"You just wait, I will call my boss". Liu Bin was agitated, but couldn't do anything except call his boss.

"Yes, tell him I am waiting for him. He could bring all of his cronies with him".

Liu Bin was dumbfounded. He couldn't understand where his courage came from. So, he decided to call his boss.

"I guess its time to meet Xu Jie.", thought J B. He went back to his room and with a wave of his hand created an advanced communication device which was created by the Imperial Enterprises using alien technology in the previous timeline.

He then checked the responses from the online community for his books. These books were unconventional for Viridian and the few chapters had become instantly famous blowing up the internet community.

This was because this 'genre' itself didn't exist on Viridian and internet tech was more predominant on Viridian than on earth. J B set 1 new chapter to be published everyday for the next 5 days using his communication device.

Although he had received replied from a few publishers and agencies, he decided to wait for the next 5 days, to make sure popularity will hit its peak. While 'Zhu Xian' chapters became hit amongst fantasy genre, the chapters from the other two books were welcomed by industrialists, economists and policy makers. It also inspired many speculations, debates and critiques.

Suddenly J B had an idea, and used his powers to get others books and Novels from Earth. He also organized his thoughts and used his own memories from previous timeline to use his own life as a guide and created 5 volumes of 'Swindler System'.

He came up with the name because in the previous timeline he had often felt the system had swindled him in the name of prestige points more often than not. Although, the system had helped him become who he was now, it wasn't very peaceful or normal journey.

So for the 'Swindler System' books he decided to drastically alter the names of places and people and even the time-line was stretched. He also made sure to make it as vague and adventurous as possible.

He created them, but decided not to publish these books. Not yet anyway. He had to wait for a few years for these volumes. First, he had to make sure that his other books hit the market and enter the bestseller lists and break previous records. This time he must go international from the beginning!
