1 Immortal Throne's Control

When the cold wind blows, and the flocks of birds fly in fear, with the wind blowing the smell of blood and battle to every land, and the bird's blood dripping from wounds they got by just being in the way.

Most would understand the ominous nature of such occurrences, but even the most secluded creatures will fail to avoid the encroachment of darkness, a never seen before cover upon the land.

The shadows of the bloody times didn't exclude the Immortal Thrones' and their respective domains, truly engulfing every nook and cranny of the their once glorious world.

The lands scarred by the battles of countless people, with the marks of the battle between Immortals being the most prominent, as gargantuan and divine forests line the ground, where charred craters spews out streams of destructive energy.

The contrast between lush and desolate energies in a single space ,produced chaos in the already weakened space, meaning even the fabrics of reality has not been left unscathed by the battles that defies the heaven's might.

But make no mistake, their subordinates definitely did not disappoint their respective positions, making their own scars of destruction and annihilation upon the earths, skies, and heavens of their world, swimming in discord.

Skies are darkened by the rubble and various magical powers of all sides of the war, with blood forming rivers, and the bones propping up ivory grasslands and forests.

Corpses piling up like mountains, towering above the survivors that escaped the disastrous tragedies, instilling despair into the minds of what remained of the once prosperous and peaceful world.

Humans , Beasts , Devils, Spirits, all the inhabitants that witnessed the bloody rivers, stained lands, towering corpse peaks, and bone forests will forever be cursed with those memories, in their traumatized minds. The bloodied swords, armor, cloth, and other weapons, further darkened the view of the war's nightmare.

But despite the terrible outcome of the chaos, it had somehow managed to end.

No one smiled at the end of the great bloody war, instead, it was a mix of bawls of hopelessness, laughs of madness, and emotionless stares into nothingness.

While the world-ending discord is starting to subside after the sacrifice of many, strong and weak, in the transition between outer space and the atmospheric influence of the planet is 2 men.

One of them emanates a glow of life, represented by the green-gold aura and the natural conclusion that everyone would come to, born from an instinct developed by all living beings, may one be the dirt or the highest beings of the world.

What is most interesting about the man is his body and cloth that looks like it is carved from the most precious emeralds, with intricate and beautiful patterns reminiscent of gold in its full glory.

His eyes is conflicted, but was still dominated by the feelings of sadness and kindness, eyesight fully focused on the opposite figure from him, also levitating in a similar manner.

In contrast to the soft and kind aura that the emerald man gives off, the other spews out a dark-red aura, making anyone that would be in his presence, feel like he is the epitome of evil, the very embodiment of all things evil and disgusting.

His figure is also all pitch-black, but instead of golden and delicate patterns, his body is hugged by crimson-red demonic marks, pulsating red light in the same manner as the golden marks give off golden light.

They are both just staring at each other, not a single move, not even a single millimeter till the silence was broken by the man clad in darkness and blood.

"You know you can't kill me right, dear Saint. You bear the power of kindness and empathy, so much so that even trying to kill someone would damage you more than if I would strike you with my blade"

Silence returns, and the red man waits patiently for a reply from the man called Saint.

"Indeed, you are right. I can't kill you, my Immortal Throne compels me to, but I can seal you, because I couldn't possibly be controlling this much power without the will to back it up, unlike you which is devoured by your own Immortal Throne"

A sinister smile and a raised eyebrow is the things that the red man gave as a reaction to the reply, but was then followed by a wicked laugh, a laugh of madness and evil.

After a while of imperious laughing, he once again opened his mouth to speak

"How cruel. How can my own father and the bearer of the Immortal Throne of Sainthood be this petty, are you really that desperate to somehow try all the things that could possibly awaken me, how pathetic, even for you dear Saint. You of all people should know that if your previous attempt at trying to awaken me did not work, that at most definitely won't give you good results"

A sigh came out from the man named Saint

"You can't blame me for trying, desperate if desperate, I want my son back. I won't be tired constantly saying each time I encounter you, or when I am thinking or everywhere at all... I regret letting you inherit the Immortal Throne of Evil and my weakness of not being able to make you sane again"

"Hahahahahahahha, this is getting boring, how about you die with those regrets gnawing at you then? Extermination Abyssal Domain!"

"Origination Life Domain"

Their auras suddenly spiked, and spread all over their surroundings, lighting up the darkness that the light of the planet and distant stars can't possibly fill.

Areas respectively occupied by life and destruction clashed that instant they touched each other, with the area of contact having green-gold sharp vines and dark-red monstrosities clashing

Biting, crushing, piercing, decapitating

The mentioned 4 is just few of what the wood and the spawns is doing, both sides desperately trying to rip apart the others.

If one were to look directly below their site of fight, they would see a giant sphere of light that dwarfs the sun's size easily by more than 2 times, with one of its half being green-gold, while the other half is dark-red.

And despite the distance, almost the entirety of the war's survivors and even those that does not belong to the world, can feel the might and power behind the sphere.

Some looked hopeful, nervous, scared, angry, sadness, and others, all different reactions to the final fight of the remaining 2 out of 3 True Immortals of their world, deciding the path that their world will take from now on, with most hopeful for the triumph of the Immortal Saint.

The 4 colored artificial sun in the sky suddenly started to slowly shrink, with each lowering of its size, the more its appearance seems fuzzy, as if the space near the immortal sun is twisting and bending due to the clash of both monsters.

The 2 men just kept looking at each other, the Immortal Devil smiling maniacally while the Immortal Saint solemn.

But as the powerful immortal domains of both beings reach their final state of density, the domains of both suddenly disappeared and we see the Immortal Devil flicker out and in of existence, with him already about to strike downwards on the Immortal Saint.

As the pitch-black axe laced with dark-red energy is about to hit the head of the Immortal Saint, 5 green-gold daggers suddenly appeared, stopping the further descent of the axe, causing an invisible shockwave that cracked the already fragile space around them.

Immediately after the 2 weapons made contact, the friction between the contact of their forces is causing burst of green-gold energy and dark-red energy to.

Another 4 green-gold daggers was sent flying towards the Immortal Devil after an instant of the blades' contact, emanating an energy to kill despite the holiness that they gave off.

The Immortal Devil was not taken by surprise, as if completely seeing this chain of actions by the Immortal Saint, utilizing his skills to use spatial energy and his extreme speeds to move away from the dangers of the Immortal Saint's daggers.

After the Immortal Devil made a bit of space between him and the Immortal Saint, he paused for a moment only to be interrupted by 3 green-gold daggers flying at him at breakneck speeds.

He materialized a blood-red rapier, and with speeds surpassing even the Immortal daggers, he deflected them all with ease, only to be once again interrupted by another 6 green-gold daggers, with only 4 of the new daggers coming at him being deflected while the rest goes through his body, ripping apart his flesh and bones.

But despite the injury from the 2 golden daggers, he still maddeningly smiled. With all his might, he ferociously slammed the 2 weapons in his hands causing a bit of a shockwave that temporarily pushed the set of daggers, with all of them in a total of 9.

"Your 9 Life Gold Orbs is as troublesome as ever, but as you obviously know from our previous fight, that was just a warm-up"

He once again started his assault on the Immortal Saint's defense, using his newly formed dark-red saber to slash once and then disappear, repeating the process over and over again, with the 9 daggers constantly blocking all of them. The force of their blows completely destroying the surrounding space, causing a sea of spatial energy to wash their bodies and blades.

But suddenly when hundreds of bouts was done, the Immortal Devil propped up a substantially stronger attack.

"Vile Emperor's Descent!"

A countless amount of overlapping red shadows appeared behind him, all concentrating into a crimson copy of himself. This copy would then disintegrate into tiny bits of energy and incorporate itself into the dark-red saber, the whole process only taking an instant.

"Saint's Duty" A light whisper came out of the Immortal Saint's lips.

The 9 green-gold daggers would turn into a glowing liquid state, making it look just like a permeable liquid-like light. They would all then concentrate on the hand of the Immortal Saint to form a golden trident, laced with emerald-like marks.

This trident would then be completely enveloped by a golden energy, and despite the similarity of the color, the difference between the golden energy and golden trident would be more than visible. The coated golden trident would then be used to block the incoming attack.

When the 2 behemoth skills collided, they would cancel each other out, while causing an even stronger wave of force that would scatter the curtain of spatial energy.

"Life's Rage" Another light whisper came out again of the Immortal Saint's mouth.

The golden coating disappeared into nothingness, replaced by a violent green energy. The Immortal Saint would attack again, meant to pierce the Immortal Devil's body.

The Immortal Devil of course would block the attack, only to be violently pushed back by a sudden explosion of green energy in his direction from the tip of the golden trident, forcefully pushing him back.

He would completely come to a halt in no time, a green fire clinging to the entirety of his gemstone-like body. This persistent green fire would then be extinguished by a takeover of dark-red fire, causing the Immortal Devil to smile in the Immortal Saint's direction, who is floating in front of him calmly.

"As expected, you burning your own body and Immortal Throne has really strengthened you, to think that you could push me back despite after the merger"

"I was still once the most powerful out of the 3 True Immortals, I am not gonna be easy to get rid off"

"We'll see how long you can keep this up"

After another brief pause of talking, they continued with their battle, with the Immortal Saint being in the defensive while occasionally pushing back and injuring the Immortal Devil, only for the Immortal Devil to shrug it off.

After an unknown amount of time, the surroundings is filled with the liquid-like presence of a seemingly endless amount of spatial energy. The battle finally reached its end, when the Immortal Saint saw a precious opportunity to end the battle and defeat the Immortal Devil.

"This is just delaying things dear Saint, we both know that I am essentially unkillable, and even if somehow there is a possibility that I can be killed, do you honestly believe that someone will rise to become stronger than even you after this tragedy?"

"I don't put just my trust into things that I don't believe will succeed"

"Well you trusted me with this Immortal Throne, I guess you tr-"

The Immortal Devil was interrupted as the All Binding-World Seal is completed and imprisons the Immortal Devil, but such a powerful technique does not come without its cost.

The Immortal Saint's body starts to become transparent, his power slowly dissipating, and the exhausted Immortal Throne of Sainthood finally breaking apart into several pieces. His body slowly merging with the spatial sea, like a mere river meeting the vast ocean.

"I hope everything goes according to my plan, this is the only way I can repent for my sins, for my failures as the Immortal Saint. for my incompetence as the embodiment of empathy and mercy"

He looked inside his soul, his gaze fixed at the largest piece of the rapidly cracking Immortal Throne, and sent a tiny amount of soul energy that he spared from being sacrificed.

Losing his consciousness within the Immortal Throne piece, the Immortal Saint seems to have hopeful eyes for the future.

"Till the piece founds a suitable heir, my eyes will stay shut. Farewell."

And finally, his consciousness sinks deep into the sea of slumber and death-like sleep.
