1 The Awakening

The life of a vampire has never been easy, you have your hunters, you have the sunlight which weakens vampire's but doesn't kill vampire's, the sensitivity to garlic and you can't see yourself in the mirror because vampires have no reflection. We love like humans, vampire emotions are more powerful than human emotions in most ways give or take a two and vampire's have unique gifts but they differ from vampire to vampire. "That's enough, you're gonna kill me." he tried to throw me off but he was to weak from me feeding upon his blood so vigorously. I drank faster and faster, just as I let go he turned to ash an he was no more.

I got up from the ground, my body was very cold, my heart started to slow down, I fell to the ground, as the rain hit my face I convulsed my body suddenly stopped, my body felt everything, I could see and hear everything with a precision. Thus began my eternal life, at some point I must've grew tired with the ages or something triggered my exile. I struggled to wake up but with a loss of memory and my powers I couldn't force myself awake from the slumber. So I decided to go through a deep state of concentration so I build enough power to turn myself into mist an gain my freedom that way, but it would be extremely dangerous and costly toward my energy, so the timing must precise. I waited for the moment to come to rise from my slumber and stalk the night once more, it I heard thunder echo in the deep an the rain that began to hit ground, my body began to evaporate into mist and the mist escaped from the deteriorated coffin in which I slept for far to long. It a little while for the mist to fully escape the coffin and for me to regain my human form due to my deteriorated state. I immediately fell to the ground from the weight of my body, I felt like a new born trying to walk an gain strength to my limbs, I tried to stand for hours, tragically to no avail, but I crawled to the corner of the room, which looked like a crypt to me at first glance, soon I realized it was a warehouse of strange goods. I hid behind a large crate by the far corner of the room, after an hour or two I heard rats scurrying about but I waited patiently for the rats to come to me, my body was reacting to pure instinct. My body craved substance and unfortunately for the rat, he was on my menu for a small breakfast. The rat scurried about but eventually he wondered closer and closer to me, I snapped him up when he was in the middle of turning around, I sank my teeth into his flesh an for. The warm blood dripped down my chin then down my neck to my chest, I dropped the rat as my body began to transform slowly, restoring my youth by a small fraction, I went from looking ninety years old to seventy years old, some of my powers were coming back but I dared not use them because I wanted to build it up for an emergency.
