1 Chapter 1: Unsealing Memories

Unknown POV

Our world is what we, the habitants can call ourselves a dying world. Why? It was because it truly was dying, the will of our world was slowly weakening, the will of Teidora, our planet.

I, a person who wants to be ignorant, but must know of a lot of things pretty much agree to this. With the will which was always tring hard to balance everything in our world suddenly weakened because of unknown reasons many centuries ago, slowly the restrictions are now being filled with a lot of loopholes even until to this day.

The elves who should have been our neutral race peacemakers and are out of worldly desires are now being tainted with them. Even their world tree was burned by the hands of the tainted elves, who has once been guarding it since when. Pretty ironic how this race who are now plotting to rule a continent was once the race who tried to desperately keep the world at peace.

I can already guess that what the will of the world wanted to restrict was their unpure desires for the sake of world "balance".

The authority of fate was also lessened and it wasn't able to overlook everything as it used to do before.

The stronger you are, the more you can defy fate. It was a major motto told to every being in our world. As after all those years of suffering, surrendering to fate, they were finally able to turn it around as long as they have strength.

It did happened as the stronger and strongest people were able to defy fate a lot and lifted restrictions, they lived longer that they should have as fate prophecied for them. And grown more stronger than the world allowed.

There was also magic, demons, mana, elves, and everything fantastical.

Our world was that, because of the balance suddenly tilting, and it took many centuries for us, the people to have realized a lot, one day or another if it wasn't handled properly, more chaos will surely ensue without anything blocking it's path. It will be called something like fixed fate, the world end, the destruction of our habitat.

Yeah that's our chaotic world, yet while I stroll in my wooden wheel chair here in this cloudy place. I can't help but be surprised as I marvel about what I see, the misty clouds that are cleared in my side as I continously push myself were replaced by three-dimensional scenes of a city.

I wouldn't really need to be this confused if it showed our futuristic present city, but it showed a place with obviously lower technology.

Moreover although one cannot go out because of my illness, I know that there are other race that are free to roam around in our place, the humans' territory, but all I can see are humans wearing clothes that are made of cheap fabrics, a garbage the people of our race would have long disdained as old-fashioned and thrown out. We all wear enchanted clothes of weaved mana after all.

It is also observable that these place is way too....inferior if I may say, the air is actually pulloted, how can that be?

Mana existed since the ages where a portal from the outside chaos cracked our natual barrier and slowly filled our world of both enormous mana and turbulent magi from the outside space, it was our most disastrous age, but it let mana existed in our world, it created a reformation to everything, whether it is the almost extinction of our race, the creation of a new race, the purification of the water we drink or the air we breath, etc. etc.

It even evolved the future birthed children to be as strong as the strongest I can see in this place crowded with fragile and weak adults.

Yet again, the many three-dimensional scenes I see here in my consciousness are all way too contrasting of the common sense I've lived my eight years of life with. These citizens, these houses, these buildings, even the air, the passing transportation, the plants, so different.

Interesting, it's very interesting indeed.

As I was lost in my thoughts, the place suddenly started to disperse to little pieces and gathered to light particles which I began to notice. Soon, they were all floating wisps of light that then spinned in a spiral.

I frowned to this as I don't know which direction things will develop into. These spinning light wisps all gathered and materialized into a small-sized floating rounded ball of light.

It came to my direction as I narrowed my eyes to it. It came and stayed still above the hands holding at the wheels.

'What do I do next then, do I touch it or just leave it be until I wake up?'

I was thinking as I saw it stayed there for ten seconds, I decided to just move my chair back but then unfortunately,

'I can't move an inch in my chair, but I can move my hands, no I can even turn my head, I can move my body but not the chair, do I really have to touch it?'

He hesitated for a few seconds and just raised his pale hands to touch the light ball, the moment even the inch of his skin felt the floating light, it seeped into it in a matter of second, he could only react slowly.

'Eh? What just actually happened?'

Continuation soon..
