19 An Amazing Daughter

"Husband" She called him lovingly.

"Dear," She called again adoringly.

"My love" She called him pouting after few moments.

"Hey! Father of Arya" Her voice is annoying now.

"I won't talk to you again. You flower saint. Useless husband. An annoying person." She is angry now. She turned away from him and sat where she is.

Veer opened his eyes and saw her acting angry and laughed. He stood up and walked to her and held her hand and pulled her in his arms and whispered: "I did not know that you could be angry at me."

She pouted in his arms and said "You are annoying sometimes. I called for so many times, why did you not respond? Do you think I am unbearable?"

Veer said softly "You are acting like a fool. Without you, my existence will be nothing. I put you before myself."

"Then what about Arya?" She asked.

"She has accepted us as her parents. So, of course, we should put her before us." Veer said.

Priya left his arms and then looked around on the moving planets and meteorites and blinking stars at a distance and said while laughing "It is so peaceful here when that chirping bird is not present."

Veer and Priya looked at their front spread of the vast universe consisting of stars, planets, solar systems, meteorites, comets, and everything even if they look distributed in the universe randomly but it still looks very orderly.

They walk ahead slowly. Priya said, "How can we walk here without any hard surface below our feet?"

Veer did not say anything and pulled her ahead and they started descending and after some time they started going upward. Veer smiled and said "Did you understand now? We walk with our will here. The physical body is made of five elements and it needs a base to be stable or a force to keep it balanced but we are the part of nature itself and it needs will power to make whatever we want it to be."

Priya asked "Then what are we? Or in a normal way if asked, what is a soul?"

"Soul is an entity made of cosmic energy with its own consciousness. A soul is indestructible, unbreakable and insoluble. There is no effect of any force, time or light on the soul. It means it can not be killed, be aged or be seen. Because the soul is born of the will of nature itself." Veer mentioned in a calm voice.

"I am just afraid of being separated from you. Thankfully you have attained something which is helpful for both of us. Who would think that the love of a mortal can be able to make him ascend to such level." Priya said emotionally.

"Our love has proved what no one would have believed otherwise." Veer tightened his grip on her hand to tell his feelings.

Priya laughed and said "Like Krishna has said in Geeta, whatever happens, it happens for good." then she pulled his hands and ran ahead.

Veer smiled and said "Let us see what our daughter is doing. It has already been fifty years from the time she started her spiritual journey." And then he pulled Priya and next moment they appeared on earth in front of where Veer is meditating with his body.

Priya looked lovingly at the meditating Veer and smiled. She also smiled looking at the hand she is holding. She laughed and said "What is the use of your body in meditation? Aren't you simply walking and looking at the scenery with me? Your consciousness which is attached to the body is also going through the same experience."

Veer smiled and said "My body is in meditation so that I could be free and be with you. When I am in mortal body, I can see you but I can not hold you or converse with you like this due to restrictions of the mortal world. I can only see you as a sphere of light and feel your emotion in form of energy fluctuations, but when in meditation, I can be in the universe of my body and can meet you and talk to you as I wish. I can also see you in the lovely form which I have loved."

Priya blushed from his words and said "Now stop with flowery words. Oh, I really wish to tell everyone about you being flower saint."

Veer laughed and they walked hand in hand to the top of the nearby mountain. There they see that Arya is sitting on a flat rock platform and looking intently toward the sky.

Suddenly Arya laughed and then she started looking toward the forest at the bottom of the hill at one side.

Priya laughed and said, "Why did she laugh suddenly?"

"Her eyes are just like you. Her laugh is also like you." Veer smiled and said totally diverting the topic.

"I know that is why you wanted her as our daughter," Priya said. She also forgot her previous questions when she looked lovingly at their adopted daughter.

"I feel like my decision was not wrong when I see you smiling this way while talking about her" Veer felt amused.

Priya looked at his expression and then her face dropped and she said: "When I am born and we marry as human, she will feel sad when we have our children because she will not be able to be a part of my flesh and blood like other children."

Veer laughed and said "You are underestimating our daughter too much. She will make impossible as possible if she willed it."

Priya looked confused and asked "What do you mean? Please tell me if I am missing something. I suddenly feel like our daughter is extraordinary."

Veer looked toward Arya and said, "Look at her and tell me what do you see or feel."

Priya looked at Arya and said "Her body is still fifteen years old. It seems she has made some improvements in past fifty years she has been with you."

Veer laughed and said "Of course there are some benefits in being my daughter. She does not wish to age, so will not because I helped her in that."

"What? I thought she also reached some high level. You are really annoying." Priya is surprised and as well as feeling like she got deceived by him.

Veer smiled and said "On the path of spirituality, nature is our Guru and we are its disciple. We behold it, learn from it, know it, try it, test it, feel it and be one with it. She is here with us in Himalaya very far from the mortal world and its impact on her mind. So she only has to live with nature and just follow nature and she can reach where the top place is."

Priya said "I remember that the first two stages of Yoga are restrain and regulate. How did she accomplish them?"

Veer looked lovingly at the Arya who is sitting and gazing silently on her front and smiling softly and then said "There are no worldly thoughts surrounding us here, so she does not even need to understand truth and untruth. There is only truth surrounding us here and she just has to let loose herself in this environment to make her resolve strong and understand the ultimate truth of nature. First. See the way she is sitting. Isn't that a posture of Asanas itself?"

Veer again continued "This is also a way of learning and knowing about nature. And about the next stages of control and retraction, she is already practicing them from last fifty years and I believe she has already mastered them. So, you can say that our daughter is almost a Yogi who is soon going to enter the stage of conception." After this, he stopped and looked ahead.

He then asked, "Do you still remember what my teacher said about the four principles of walking on the path of Yoga?"

Priya looked at their hands who are joined and then smiled and said "Yes I remember. The first Principle is 'Learn It and Know it'. The second principle is 'Try it and Test it'. The third principle is 'Feel it and Be one with it'. Fourth and Final principle is 'Will it and it will happen'."

"Now look at our daughter and tell me. Isn't it the way she is practicing it?" Veer laughed and asked Priya.

Priya now looked at Arya who is sitting in folded leg posture in a relaxed way and looking at the scenery in front. The smile of Arya is very faint yet gentle and her face looked brightened with a certain mysterious glint. When Priya concentrated she felt like her body is accepting the elements from nature and strengthening itself. Arya is smiling and looking ahead but in fact, her body and consciousness are in sync with nature.

Priya looked at Veer and said, "Looks like she has learned about the five elements of nature and is able to absorb and replenish her body's constitution automatically and it will stop her aging and allow her body to live long."

"Correct. She has almost perfected the retraction which is to retract all your senses and be able to look inside and in the stage of conception, she will be able to sense herself. It means she will soon be able to enter into the meditative stage and feel her soul and know herself. Knowing yourself is the perfection of the stage of conception. In the next stage of cognizance, one starts to learn about nature itself." Veer smiled and said.

Priya seemed confused and asked "But how could see reach such a stage and understand those things. There might be some exceptions like yourself but is our daughter also in the same category?"

Veer laughed and said "What do you think? Having a father like me has some certain uses as well. I let her experience those stages and our intelligent daughter deciphered the path to that stage by herself. It is same like when you feed a dish to a cook, after tasting it he will be able to find the ingredients and cooking method of that dish after few trials."

Priya smiled listening to the Veer's explanations and looked adoringly at Arya who just came out of her reverie. It seems Arya sensed something and then called looking around "Father! Mother! Are you here?"

Priya told him "Go, our amazing daughter is calling. It seems she can sense us now."

Veer pulled Priya in his arms and whispered "Okay, dear wife! your husband will be away for a while. Don't forget to pry on the activities of your husband."

Priya pouted and Veer laughed. In the next moment, the Body of Veer in meditative pose vanished and his body materialized where he is and they become one. He stood smiling at his daughter.

Veer looked lovingly at that soft light sphere dancing around and then at his daughter. Arya saw Veer in front and bowed and said: "This tactless daughter greets father."

"How can our daughter be tactless? Your mother said you are an amazing daughter." Veer smiled and said.

Arya jumped and came to Veer's side and said "Really?"

Veer laughed and said "Why, of course. A Great father like me will, of course, have an amazing daughter."

"Mother will feel sad if she knew you are taking the whole credit," Arya complained.

Veer smiled and said "How can I? You did not even hear the whole truth. And behind a person like me, there is a very loving and beautiful woman. Your mother is my inspiration."

Veer and Arya both laughed. Arya looked lovingly toward Veer and said with misty eyes "Father! I will definitely take birth as mother's daughter. Then I will truly be born from the father and mother."

"I believe in my daughter. It is nothing difficult and my daughter can easily achieve it." Veer's gaze turned softer and he stroked her head and replied.

Next hundred years passed in a flash and Veer along with their daughter Arya continued to progress on the path of spirituality while waiting for the re-birth of his beloved wife.
