10 Training Starts.

Located in the mists surrounded by several mountains a few cylindrical buildings stood erect. The mists and the mountains made it difficult to find these mountains and only the local residents were able to navigate their way to and fro through these buildings.

These buildings were home to the various shinobis of Kirigakure. Located within the most largest and the widest buildings was the Mizukage's office. Inside the office the Godaime Mizukage could be seen dealing with paperwork.

The Godaime Mizukage had orange reddish hair which was long and beautiful. Her bangs were able to cover her right eye only exposing her left eye which contained a teal color pupil. She was very provocative and wore a blue dress that was split at the hip and exposed her voluptuous cleavage.

She also wore gray shinobi boots for her footwear and fishnet stockings. Her name is Mei Terumi and she was dealing with the aftermath left by her predecessor.

A shadow approached her and kneeled before her. This was a Kirigakure anbu who was under the Mizukage. Mei noticed the anbu but kept on working. The anbu then started to report the news and information he had gathered.

Hearing this Mei waved her sleeves and sent the anbu away and then she tilted her up upwards and sighed,

"So it still happened".

Then a few moments later she threw this to the back of her head as she continued working.

Hidden within one of the mountains in a separate part from Kirigakure two shinobis was seen training together. One was a small boy not older than seven who wore a mask on his face. His hair was a silky smooth black and he wore a teal color robe with fishnet vest under. This person was Haku.

The other shinobi was then obviously Zabuza Momochi. Zabuza was teaching Haku nindo and ninjutsu and was sparring with him to train his taijutsu. He took Haku seriously as if he were to let his guard down Haku would be able to seize the opportunity and best him.

"Haah haah" Haku was breathing heavily and was still exuding the determination to battle.

"Let's stop here. We will rest for now and then we will continue after." said Zabuza who was also panting.

"Yes" answered Haku although reluctantly.

Haku wanted to continue because he wanted to get stronger but he followed Zabuza's orders because he thought that Zabuza was a precious person to him.

The two then went towards a camping site they had setup earlier to rest. Zabuza looked to Haku who was preparing their food to eat.

"He is improving at a speed that is out of my expectations" exclaimed Zabuza.

He did not care however as he thought that Haku gaining strength meant that he would be a more reliable tool to be used.

While Haku was training and growing stronger things in the shinobi world kept moving forward.

Sato knew of this and the pressure was rising on him. He however was not slacking off either and was now undergoing training as well within the yuki clan household.

Sato was sitting within a room that was devoid of anything else besides the tatami mats under him. He sat there meditating hoping to breakthrough the realms of qi disciples and increase his strength.

Before this however Sato had asked his grandfather to train him. What happened then was that his grandfather took him to a secret training ground in the yuki clan and started his training. The first thing he did was to hand Sato a Chakura Kannōshi (chakra induction Paper) to test his affinity with the five basic elements.

When Sato was handed the chakura kannōshi however he was stumped. He knew that he had chakra within him but he was not able to mould it.

The qi energy contained within his meridians are now abundant and would overpower the chakra from having access to the meridians in his body.

This perplexed him and he was at a loss of what to do. His grandfather however was standing before him and this put a pressure on sato.

Fukushima quietly waited for Sato to infuse his chakra to the chakura kannōshi.

He said nothing to sato but just silently observe his actions.

Sato, left with not choice decided then to infuse his own energy into the chakura kannōshi.

When he did this however an unknown phenomenon happened. The chakura kannōshi did not ignite and turn to ash nor did it split in two. It did not wrinkle it also did not turn to dirt and crumble away. It also was not wet or damp.

This meant that he did not have an affinity with any of the five basic elements.

As Fukushima saw this he was disappointed.

"How could he not have an affinity with the elements" thought Fukushima with his hand on his chin.

Then as if to answer the questions in his thoughts the chakura kannōshi magically started to illuminate light and then was absorbed by Sato. This was because of the qi that Sato induced to the paper

Fukushima was astonished by this episode. He had no clue what happened. He stood there with his eyes wide open and pupils shrinking and trembling.

He thought of all the possibilities he could that would be able to explain what occurred but could not find an answer.

With no explanation to the situation Fukushima turned to look at Sato. He then came to a realization that maybe Sato was a unique individual.

"Sato" called Fukushima. "I cannot train you, I myself do not understand what just happened and cannot determine the element that was just displayed by the chakura kannōshi".

"Since I cannot fathom that element or power I cannot instruct you on the nindo and ninjutsu of shinobi".

"Haizz, it is truly regrettable. If I was able to help you I do not know how far or how much of a genius you would be but I do know that you are a genius" sighed Fukushima.

"It is a shame but I can at least still train you in one element of the shinobi and that method is taijutsu." said Fukushima looking Sato in his eyes.

Sato on the other hand was flabbergasted at what he just witnessed. As he was thinking about the phenomenon he gradually calmed his mind and started pondering on the effects his qi had on the chakura kannōshi.

He was also excited but also worried about what elements would be perceived from the chakura kannōshi but it ended up being a unique situation.

After a while he heard his grandfather speaking to him and paid close attention to what he had to say. When his grandfather told him that even he could not fathom the power Sato was shocked speechless.

Sato still shocked looked at his grandfather as he continued to explain to Sato that he could not teach him ninjutsu or any of the shinobi techniques but then he heard that he was still able to train in taijutsu.

Sato already thought that he would not be able to do ninjutsu or be trained in it. This did not bother him but when he saw his own power that looked to be even more powerful he could only divine that he would have to train himself.

This caused a problem for Sato as he did not know anything else about qi or its uses only that he could comprehend its power through meditation.

Sato then nodded his head while listening to his grandfather and he started to plan for his future training.

While thinking about his future plans and what goals he needed to achieve he realized that a year had passed. The events that happen at his cottage with his father. The peaceful time he spent with his family and the trouble he went through was all throughout this one year.

Time waited for no man and events more catastrophic were on their way. Sato needed power to ensure his and his family's safety.

"Grandfather I know of a way to compensate for my shortcomings in ninjutsu so it will be alright. I will have to ask for grandfather's guidance on taijutsu" said Sato explaining that he had a way to improve.

His grandfather was dazed as he was thinking,

"He does not seem surprised that he cannot use ninjutsu? maybe he already knew this would be the outcome and was prepared for it. Interesting".

"I wonder what he will do to balance his weakness" thought Fukushima looking at Sato with a hint of anticipation.

After testing Sato on his elements Fukushima told him to go back and rest. He also said that he will have to see about his mother so in the meantime he would not be able to train him in taijutsu.

Fukushima then said that he would start training the next day. Hearing this Sato requested for a quiet room so that he could rest without any disturbance.

Sato wanted a room like this so he can meditate and try to gleam from his own power the way to enhance and utilize his qi. Fukushima obliged and said he will find Sato one such room.

While walking to the room Sato saw a lot of paintings hung on the walls of the hallways. There were all kinds of paintings of birds, streams and mountains. One picture in particular caught Sato's eye.

This painting was of a battlefield and at the center of the field was a lone sword. This sword was not like the others that lay strewed on the floor or impaled on the bodies in the battlefield. It was a sword that exuded dominance. It felt like it was the only thing in existence on the field. This sword resembled the height of power and a realm of destruction and seemed to be pointed to the sky. At least this is what Sato felt from looking at this sword.

Fukushima and Iwata who had accompanied Sato however could not feel the same emotions that Sato felt while looking at the picture. Fukushima noticed Sato staring at the picture and then he commented on it.

"This picture was a painting of a shinobi's experience in the battlefield of the second shinobi war".

"The sword was one of the seven greatswords held by the seven great swordsmen, he died in battle before passing it on to his successor." said Fukushima.

Sato nodded his head to show his understanding but was still caught up in the realm of destruction exuded by the sword. It struck his mind as if to tell him the secrets it possessed.

After some time Sato regained his senses and followed behind Iwata and Fukushima who led the way to the room requested by Sato.

When they got to the room the three talked some more before Fukushima and Iwata excused themselves and left to manage other business.

Sato made sure that he was alone and when he was certain of it he took up a meditation position.

He was going to attempt another breakthrough.

After experiencing that events and coming to this place Sato felt the abundant qi in the air and knew that his cultivation had progressed enough.

Sitting silently in the lotus position he inhale and exhaled and start circulating the qi in the air to his body from the technique he gleamed. After a certain period of time Sato was in the middle of meditation when he suddenly felt a different type of energy in the air.

"What is that?" exclaimed Sato with a slight tremble on his body.

"This feels like qi energy but it is really overbearing and sharp" thought Sato.

Then the energy grew in strength and assaulted him from his surroundings. This frightened him and his eyebrows furrowed deeply.

"Why is this happening?" asked Sato.

Then as he was thinking about it he felt a sharp energy that slashed through the air and came before him. The sharp energy that cut through the air and was about to split him in half came to a sudden stop in front of him.

Sato did not know why this energy came to him and it surprised him to the point that his closed eyes were now opened wide in shock. Seeing that the energy was not looking to harm him, he closed his eyes again and used his soul power to probe the sharp energy.

As his soul energy touched the sharp energy before him, he saw something that astonished him. Sato's soul entered the sharp energy which was showing a scene that he could not fathom.

It was a battlefield.

Many swords and weapons were wielded by different people and were clashing against each other. Some of the weapons were fierce and the energy that swarmed around them were violent. Amidst these energies one particular weapon gave of a feeling of calamity and destruction,

This energy was exuded by the black sword that Sato saw in the painting in the hallway. That was when he realized that the sharp energy from before was the energy formed by this black sword that he is seeing.

Then as if recognized by the sword it shone brightly and blinded Sato. When he regained his awareness he was back in his own body and the sharp energy that was before him disappeared.

Sato was confused and bothered by the brightness of the sword. He also couldn't understand why that sword acted like that. He decided not to think of it anymore and to focus back on his cultivation. He was just a step away from breaking through to the next realm.

As he calmed his mind and was about to condensed the qi in his body to push through the next meridian he noticed that the sharp energy from before was now inside him.

Surprised by this he once again attempted to fuse with the energy to figure out what was going on.

When he came in contact with the energy this time there was no scene from it but just a feeling that it gave off. Sato felt this and started relaxing his body. He then started comprehending the intention of this energy and what it was.

This energy was the energy that all sword exuded upon a certain level of mastery called sword qi

and the first step to mastering it is called sword intent!. When he interpreted the sword intent he understood how he was able to gain it.

It was due to the black sword that was in the painting located in the hallway. This helped him in his cultivation to perceive sword will. Unknowingly to him Sato's ability with the sword was drastically improved and he obtained the power to wield sword qi.

Then as if recognizing its master the sword qi flew to Sato like a puppy would to it's master that had been away from home and finally came back.

This sword will that sensed that it finally had a master rushed forth and without any objection decided that Sato would be it's master. It took residence within him and start to merge with the qi that he was cultivating.

Sato on the other hand was ecstatic from this development. This meant that he had comprehended sword intent and is now able to wield sword qi freely without the restrictions that regular qi had on qi disciples.

This delighted him. Finally Sato was able to wield qi out of his body. Sato who was in a meditative pose wanted to jump for joy but quickly calmed himself.

He thought that while he was able to comprehend sword intent and use sword qi, it was a different power than his so he wanted to assimilate it to be his own. While thinking this he quickly started cultivating and merging his own qi with the sword qi.

As he was doing so he noticed an anomaly forming from the process. His qi which was in the symbol of yin and yang turned the sword qi into the same element. His sword qi was now converted into both yin energy and yang energy and it also split into two sword qi.
