11 Comprehending Dao?

Sato sat in the same room for hours assimilating his newfound power and consolidating his foundation. The sword qi he acquired rapidly increased his strength.

While he was merging both qi in his body he paid extra caution to the two sword qi. He needed to comprehend the changes that was made to the two different sword qis forming in his body.

The two sword qis started to grow along with the qi in Sato's body becoming stronger and empowering him. The yin sword qi was cold and dark black.

It gave off a calm power that was able to freeze anything in the world and slice through it. If he stared at it close enough he could see a freezing landscape. It resembled a mini world cloaked in ice.

This was the power that the yin sword exhibited.

The yang sword qi gave off ferociousness and a hot feeling was emitted from it's pure whiteness. Staring at this sword Sato was able to perceive a scorching hot landscape. It resembled another mini world filled with blazing fire.

This was the power that the yang sword exhibited.

These two powers was what was moulding within him but while he was able to witness it he was still not able to wield this great power at the time. If he wanted to wield this power he knew he had to increase his mastery.

Sato quickly understood the situation he was in. He decisively took action to push through his qi disciple four realm and break into the high realm. Gathering more qi from his surroundings he condense his qi and put his all into breaking through to unlocking his other meridians and boosting his already formed meridians.

After a period of time an explosion sounded off in Sato's head. *Boom... boom* This time two explosions occurred.

Sato did not know why this happen but he felt his power instantly shoot through the roof. He gained an immense amount of power.

To understand what happened we had to look back at the qi disciple stages in cultivation. It was stated that qi disciples had twelve different qi consolidation realms and the eleventh realm was a minor realm while the twelfth realm was a major realm. This was the bottleneck most people reached before advancing towards the higher stages but there were still bottlenecks located within the low realms of qi disciples. One of them being the fourth stage leading to the fifth stage and another was the from the seventh stage to the eighth. If one overcame the bottleneck then one's power would drastically change. Increasing the amount of qi they are able to accumulate within their body.

This is what happened with Sato. He took a much longer time to progress with his cultivation because he needed to accumulate more qi to push through the fourth qi realm barrier to breakthrough to the next realm.

Sato felt a sudden burst of power and qi flooded his body tempering it and filling him with a cold and warm energy that gave him a delighted feeling. Sato could not help but release a sigh with a euphoric expression on his face.

After consolidating his new meridians and settling his qi he opened his eyes and a white light shone from them.

But there was something different about it this time compared to when he broke through to the fourth realm.

This time when he opened his eyes there were black lights shining as well as the white light from before.

Sato finally accumulated enough yang energy along with his yin energy. This phenomenon occured because of his location. He had stayed within Kirigakure and this meant that he absorbed more yin energy and lacked sufficient yang energy.

He knew that there was a deficiency between his yin and yang energy but at the moment it does not affect him. Even though it does not hinder him now he knew that this will not be the case in the future.

But that is something he will have to worry about then. Sato opened his eyes and quickly noticed the difference with his senses. His eyes had another depth added to them and he was able to see farther with his sight now.

His hearing was enhanced and he could hear much more better now. he was able to hear the wild animals in the mountains and the sound of streams carrying water on the mountains.

His sense of smell was also improved but at this moment sato smelled something pungent and his face twisted in disgust.

"What is that smell" shouted Sato.

Then he looked down and saw that he was covered in a black gooey substance. This was the cause of the smell.

This was the impurities that was cleansed from his skin and muscles. When Sato broke through the bottleneck of fourth stage qi disciple realm his qi also cleansed himself of the impurities located beneath his skin and hidden in his muscles. This was the reason that a lot of cultivators hoped to breakthrough the fourth realm and also why most of them failed.

Sato did not pay attention to this because at the moment with his enhanced sense of smell this was like walking into a dumpster after clearing yourself of a runny nose.

Sato quickly got up to clean himself of the black gooey substance. After washing up he noticed his skin became a milky white and smooth color. This unexpectedly made him look much more handsome and he new that this would make girls go crazy for him.

But he was not concerning himself about this at the moment. He did not have time for girls that would come later.

He quickly came before the painting he saw earlier. As he was standing before the picture Sato once again was drawn to the scene of the battlefield.

He looked at the sword and time passed by. He stood there for hours and he did not notice this.

While he was immersing himself in the painting he comprehended more about the sword that captivated his eyes.

"This sword.... This feels different. It feels like this sword was not something wielded by shinobis. It feels like something only someone with qi would be able to wield...." thought Sato.

"If that is the case then grandpa would be lying to me" quietly mumbled Sato.

"But grandpa looked calm and in awe when he explained this painting to me earlier. If this is the case could there be something else about this painting?". Sato pondered.

Right then a thought sparked in his mind.

"What if i am the only one who is able to see the true identity of this sword. What if what grandpa and the others see is not this black sword but the Hiramekarei sword instead." thought Sato

Thinking till hear Sato was still looking at the black sword within the picture. He wanted to know more about this sword but when he tried to probe further he would feel a sharp pain in his head.

The sword was rebounding his sight from trying to peer further into it's powers.

"I am still too weak" sighed sato grabbing his head and shaking it in disappointment.

It was true because if he knew about the power held in this sword he would probably piss his pants.

Sato could only look at the sword with greedy eyes at the moment and think about how he was still not powerful yet to comprehend it let alone wield it. This only furthered the desire to gain strength in sato.

He used this feeling as his motivation and drive to cultivate even further. After a while he stopped looking at the picture and came to a maid who guided him to the dining room.

Even if Sato was able to cultivate, his cultivation realm was still too low and he needed food to supply energy as nourishment for his body. Sato came to the dining room and got some food then quickly returned back to his room. He liked to socialize but at the moment he was more concerned with gaining strength than to have a chat with someone.

As Sato left Midori came to the dining room and saw Sato's leaving figure. She stop and stared in the direction that Sato left and was lost in thought.

"He's only been here for one day now and he's already changed. I can feel something different about him and his skin looked even more pale." noticed Midori.

This was also true because on his way here Sato was frantic and concerned about his mother. He really acted like a child who was about to lose his most loved one.

Sato had no idea of Midori's thoughts nor did he care for them. As he reached his room he sat down and indulged in the food before him.

He did not think of food as only nourishment for the body but also as a joy in life that humans and partake. Even before he reincarnated Sato loved food it was the only thing he enjoyed living for.

After filling his belly he spread his futon and laid down with his hands interlocked behind his head. Like this Sato stopped thinking about everything and slowly close his eyes to rest.

The next morning he woke up and did his lazy morning stretch that he always did but this time he was in a different environment. He slept well last night but was not comfortable waking up in a new surrounding.

It did not feel like it was normal. But this could not deter him because he knew that today his grandfather would be teaching him taijutsu.

Sato quickly got up and washed his face to wake himself out of the lethargy he felt. Once he got ready he came to a maid to be brought to his grandfather's residence.

Upon coming to the residence Sato notice that there was a pond located in the yard and there was some fishes swimming in there. The pond was not huge but was sizable enough to hold at least ten or more fish.

The pond was also surround by some vegetation that he could not recognize but he did note it. Around the courtyard were a few rocks and were not in any particular pattern but just seemed to be there.

There was also a pathway leading to the front of the residence and the maid used this to come before the cottage and kneeling door knocked softly on the front door.

Fukushima's voice sounded out, "Come in."

Then both Sato and the maid entered. Walking into the cottage Sato did not notice anything special about the place . It looked just like any regular place. But he knew that it was not normal as this was where the head of the yuki clan resided.

"There must be a lot of hidden doors and passageways hidden all over the place. There could also be traps too" thought Sato.

Then the maid opened a sliding door and kneeled before the side of the door waiting for Sato to enter the room.

As he enter the room he saw his grandfather sipping on warm tea in a green cup with one hand located on the side while the other held the bottom of the cup with an open palm.

Calmly putting the cup of tea down Fukushima looked to Sato and said,

"You must be here to start your taijutsu training".

Not wanting to waste any time Sato nodded his head and spoke,

"Yes grandfather i am ready to train now".

Fukushima looked at Sato and then nodded his head in satisfaction.

He thought "He takes training seriously. With this type of mindset he will definitely improve".

Then Fukushima said "Alright follow me to the training grounds we will start your basic training in taijutsu and bukijutsu".

Sato and Fukushima then both left to the training grounds to start their training. As Sato and his grandfather came to the training grounds he noticed other shinobis also training at this moment and this amazed him.

He had never been to a shinobi clan before and did not know how they would train from the earliest time in the morning till the latest that they could. He thought that he would be able to impress them by training vigorously but looking at the shinobis before him Sato knew that he was far behind.

Then he came to another training ground and saw two people he knew. They were Iwata and Midori. Iwata was teaching a few children that seemed to be four years old and higher. That was the same age as him. Sato was not shocked but a gleam streaked across his eyes before disappearing.

Midori was in another area training with another shinobi who seem to be older than her. They were doing sparring and Midori held a kunai in reverse in her hands staring at her opponent.

This person was slightly taller than Midori. He was 173cm tall and had a strong looking body. He wore a purple half robe and a mesh as a vest.

He had gray pants that looked like tracksuit pants and he had black sandals that most shinobi preferred. His hair was gray and was hanging just above his shoulders. He had teal colored pupils and his face was a bit handsome.

He held a kunai in his left hand and his right hand dipped into his shinobi pouch. As he withdrew his hand, shurikens flew in a path towards midori.

Then clasping his palms together he perform a few seals and said,

"Gen'ei tajū shuriken no jutsu"(Multi phantom shuriken jutsu).

Then the shurikens he tossed earlier quickly multiplied and was on a trajectory towards Midori.

Midori saw this and shouted "Kawarimi no Jutsu" and then she also shouted "Shunshin no Jutsu" and appeared behind her opponent and sent a swift kick towards his head that connected.

She knocked her opponent dazed and then she brought her hand with the kunai to his neck and swiftly ended the match.

Stunned by the jutsu performed by Midori her opponent could only admit defeat. She was almost a jonin level shinobi and he was stronger than her but he could not defeat her.

He surrendered and then both of them started strategizing what her opponent could've done better and how he should have avoided certain attacks.

Sato was interested in this but he had his own training to accomplish so he refocused himself and followed his grandfather to another training ground.
