Making Snipers.

"Hey, old man, I want to order a special weapon. I wonder if you can make it," Alex asked the elderly blacksmith who was currently working on forging a sword. He was the oldest person there, standing out among the younger blacksmiths.

The old man glanced at Alex with a mix of surprise and annoyance. "In my long life, I've never heard someone speak to me about blacksmithing like that, kid." He handed Alex a sheepskin, a brush, and ink. "Tell me what you need."

Alex smiled and took the materials. "I like your directness." He began drawing a diagram, utilizing his skills as a master engineer to create a blueprint. To him, the design was straightforward, but to the blacksmith, it seemed like a complex mess.

"If you're just here to waste my time, leave. I don't have time for something you came up with on the spot," the old man grumbled. The design Alex presented was unlike anything he had ever seen before, making little sense.

"Let me handle this, old man," Alex said, continuing to draw.

--

Thirty-five minutes later.

"Done. Take a look," Alex handed the blueprint to the old man.

The old man dismissed him with a wave. "Kid, get out of here. I don't have time to waste on your whims."

"I see. Can I keep the blueprint, then?" Alex asked.

"Fine, go ahead," the old man said and waved his hand.

"Alright, thanks. I'll find someone skilled in blacksmithing to work on this. Thanks for the blueprint, old man," Alex smiled and walked away, but the old man caught his hand.

"What did you say?" The old man asked.

"I said I'll find someone skilled, old man. Did you not hear me?" Alex smirked mockingly.

With an annoyed expression, the old man retorted, "Ugh, I'm too old to be insulted by a brat. Give me that. I'll show you a master's work."

Alex's smile widened. "When do I get the weapon, old man? I need it today, considering the upcoming war and all."

"Give me three hours. I'll manage," the old man said, focused on his work.

Alex nodded and walked away.

--

Two hours later.

"I couldn't do it," the old man admitted with a defeated tone as Alex approached him.

"Hahahahaha, what do you think, old man? Was it tough?" Alex laughed.

Sighing, the old man introduced himself, "My name is Luo Tianfang, call me Elder Luo. What kind of illogical parts did you want me to make, brat? It didn't make sense, and I couldn't figure out how to fit them together. Choose another weapon."

Alex burst into laughter. "Never mind that. Let me teach you." He removed his robe, revealing his muscular physique.

"You? I know I couldn't do it, but don't insult me like this, kid. If I failed, how could you succeed? I can't allow it; you'll waste resources," Elder Luo protested, astonished by the audacity.

"Listen, Elder Luo, you have access to sect resources, practically unlimited ones. Besides, haven't you heard the rule of gamblers? You need to risk something to either lose everything or gain everything. Imagine if, 15 years from now, I become the sect master. You would be known as the person who granted the sect master permission to build something here. Think about the possibilities of selling that stand afterward; you'd be set for life," Alex explained, enticing the elder.

Elder Luo nodded, acknowledging the logic. "Yes, that does make sense. But the resources... how can I waste them as a blacksmith?"

"Come on, Elder Luo, you won't lose anything. You'll gain knowledge. There's a saying, 'knowledge is power.' And that knowledge can take you places. Do you trust me with the forge?" Alex spoke confidently to the elder.

Elder Luo hesitated, torn between refusing and allowing. However, the determination he saw in Alex's face swayed him. Recalling his own past, he saw himself in Alex's confidence. "Fine, do what you can."

He handed Alex a hammer and watched as the young man's enthusiasm carried him away.

"Thank you, Elder Luo. You won't regret this," Alex grinned brightly.

"I hope so," Elder Luo replied.

Alex meticulously worked the metals, using his engineering expertise to create a strong alloy. He needed the materials to withstand the unique weapon he had designed. While the world's forging techniques were inferior to his past life's, Alex set aside the idea of imbuing artifacts with advanced technology for the time being.

BANG! BANG! BANG!

Three hours passed as parts of the weapon gradually took shape.

Five hours later, it was nearly complete. With only two hours left before he had to leave, Alex quickened his pace.

Two hours later, he looked at his masterpiece. "Done! Damn, I'm running late!" He quickly assembled the weapon.

"WAIT!!!" Elder Luo wanted to stop him but Alex was already far away, he grumbled and said... "I can't believe i was beaten by a kid..." He looked at the forge. forge looked more radiant after Alex left, he looked at his hands and said.

"No, i can't rest before i make what that kid made" He went towards his forge and started to remember what Alex did as he didn't have the blueprint.

Alex took the blueprint.

"Like this? no its fail."

"No like this? its fail."

"No is this? ita fail."

Elder Luo failed many times but he didn't give up.

What Alex didn't know that he just created first 'Mechanical Engeneering Blacksmith' in a cultivator world.

CLICK!

As the final piece locked into place, the weapon took its complete form.

"Hello again, old friend," Alex whispered, a hint of nostalgia in his voice. He ran his hand over the smooth, cold surface.

It was a sniper rifle, sleek and grey, radiating an air of elegance. with its hilt radiating air of danger and a very unique intricate design that looked like it was origami gave it different kind of unique radiance, it was clear this sniper wasn't ordinary.

"My first sniper in my past life was called Black Lily. I'll name you... The Reaper Lily. You'll reap the lives of cultivators in the future," Alex murmured, adding a personal touch to the weapon.

With that, he made his way to the gathering spot, eager to see how his unique creation would fare in the battles to come.
