1 Prologue

"Hey, have you heard there is a new hidden sect that appeared recently?"

"Really? Who's is it?"

"I heard it's called The Dragon Syndicate!"

"That name alone sounds ominous..."

"Of course it does! I heard the patriarch of it has already established the name of underworld god."

"Who is he?"

"I have no idea, but I heard he is some young guy who showed up a few months ago and just started taking down one underworld boss after another. They call him the Royal Dragon because he's so strong he just clawed his way to the top."

Yea, I guess the whispers have already started. Duan Cai sighed to himself as he stood behind the door to his classroom. His ears were sharp enough to catch the whispers and conversations from the other side of it. In his mind all he could do was sigh at the thought of entering the school. His soul had just entered earth a couple months back into the body of some kid who was suppose to be dead due to being hit by a truck. The expected trauma was enough to earn him a few months out of school while his family expected him to need time to recuperate, but little did they know that earth's Duan Cai's soul had been replaced with the soul of someone from another world.

Duan Cai had spent the past few months getting use to this world's customs and trying to access the memories of the body's previous owner. Over time he had come to accept the memories and learn enough to get by from day to day. His parents in this world were simple people. His father worked a job that he had yet to comprehend due to lack of information; the previous Duan Cai spent little attention on his father as it seemed they failed to get along or at the very least the kid had cared very little to even try to. The mother was a stay at home parent who spent her days taking care of the household along with Duan Cai. She seemed the type to struggle and worry over him as Duan Cai would rarely stay at home and spent his days wandering the streets on his own. There was not very many people who seemed to care for this body's previous owner as he rarely spoke to others.

From what Duan Cai could gather from the memories he absorbed over time it seemed that Cultivators were a thing on this Earth, but it surprised him to find that his cultivation from his previous world had followed him and forced it's way into his body on earth upon arrival. Duan Cai's earth body's cultivation level and his previous world's cultivation had taken a few days upon arrival to merge causing him to over heat and fall into a coma for a few days. It was not surprise for the hospital as they just assumed it to be due to the car accident. When he had awoken it had shocked the hospital as he had some how came out of the coma completely healthy and got discharged that very day.

The few months he had for recuperating his time was divided in roaming the city to get use to the new surroundings this world gave him and taking his time to absorb memories to learn what he could. Everything around Duan Cai felt strange with every day that passed by him, but over time he learned a lot. After all, the new Duan Cai was not a simple minded eight teen year old in high school. His soul now was from a deity of over ten thousand years old.

Though his age internally may be old enough to adapt to his surroundings rather quickly, he did manage to learn something rather slower then he had expected in this new world known as earth.

Maybe I established my own sect in this world too quickly... He thought to himself internally as he sighed deeply. Duan Cai was the one known as the Royal Dragon, The Underground God, and simply a high school kid. His body held the cultivation of a deity and yet he had to hold in his own level so that he could hide himself among the normal humans around him. He was not sure how easy his life in this new world was going to be as he could already hear the kids on the other side of the door discussing him.

I can do this... He thought to himself as he suppressed his godly aura and opened the door to enter the room of mortal children.
