Chapter 3 [Shopping in Harajuku Part II]

Honoka and Yuuki who had already checked two stores on the cat street and still had no luck on finding the boots they suddenly got hungry and decided to stop by a fast food restaurant.

As they were ordering their food a lot more of those students on vacation and business men in suits were seen eating inside the establishment along with some tourists who looked like they just came from the airport and headed straight there for lunch since they had wheeled luggage by their table.

They took out their smartphones and opened up the group chat app on their phones as they waited for their orders to arrive at their table.

They're were currently ten people including Honoka and Yuuki that were online when they logged on.

One of them was talking about how the B type blood was really good which made Honoka assume that the user that said that is a vampire.

A there was also a guy that was bragging about how he hacked someone's bank account for fun and stole most of the money from it which Honoka think that the person is a hacker from the dark web.

Meanwhile the other six were talking about something else entirely with one of them talking about a prop that was currently being worked on with a picture of it still in the process of being painted.

Yuuki who gained a opportunity to take a selfie with Honoka did so with Honoka being startled once again by Yuuki's actions.

"Hey! Don't just take a selfie!"

Honoka puffed her cheeks feeling annoyed at her sudden selfie.

"Sorry~ It was too much of a waste to not do this..."

She apologized as she sent the picture to the chat group with the caption:

"Currently hanging out with @Honoka lolz"

This obviously makes Honoka's phone which was still on silent vibrate in response to having her username mentioned on the chat with their faces not even censored at all.

She sees the picture that she was just mentioned on and couldn't help but smile wrly at Yuuki who was snickering while looking at her phone.

"Haa... I can't believe you that actually sent it to the chat... This is so embarrassing..."

"It's fine~ It's fine~ The other moderators wanted to come too but I didn't agree to it, you see~"

She said with her eyes still glued to the screen of her phone whilst still snickering a bit.

"Wait... You're a mod?!"

Honoka who had no idea of what Yuuki's role on the group chat was couldn't help but change her expression that resembles someone's face whenever a plot twist in a anime happends.

"Shh! Do you want us to get kicked out?"

Yuuki puts a finger on her lip trying to make Honoka quite down because the other customers inside then restaurant were staring at them.

"Sorry... But, Why didn't you tell me beforehand?"

"Well, me and the other mods had some members that met us in person that knew about us being the mods of the group chat and just felt awkward to everytime they talked to us."

Yuuki explained still holding her smartphone in one hand and with another messing with her bangs.

'Ok then... Although I don't really care though...' Honoka thought her the explaination as to why Yuuki didn't say anything to her.

Honoka just proceeded to look at her phone's screen this time and not asking or saying anything else to her and started to just pay attention to the group chat.

At this point there were only eight people remaining including Honoka And Yuuki who were still waiting for their food.

The hacker had already logged out of the group chat saying he had some sleeping to do before logging out.

The three "close friends' were still online but they are now talking about the upcoming convention that has odaiba's tokyo exhibition center as it's venue which is the event that Honoka is gonna be attending, with Yuuki seeing this she couldn't help but join the conversation with a:

"How many are gonna be going in this chat group?"

One of the three members that had the username: "Azuki" which was also one of the mods quickly replied saying:

"When I asked last week around eight people in total said that they'll be going on day one, and there were another eight people that said they were gonna be going on all four days.

Plus around five people who haven't decided yet."

"So... Around sixteen people then if the other five end up not going... Hmm the number increased by a little bit..." Yuuki replied.

Honoka who just stared at her smartphone's screen reading the whole conversation was already feeling even more hungry.

"Thanks for the wait!"

A waitress carrying a tray with what the two ordered approached their table and placed the said tray on their table before asking if they had wanted to order anything else, but the two simple just said no. After that the waitress proceeded to bow at them before walking away.

'It's finally here...'

The two said in their heads seeing the food in their table after waiting for almost ten whole minutes.

They started eating after they put their phones back in their bags and said "Itadakimasu (thanks for the food)" which is something japanese people say before eating.

"Is there a meetup at that convention?" Honoka asked curiously as she grabbed one of the cups of soda from the try.

"Yeah, Why? Are you going as well?"

Yuuki's expression changed to a happy expression to a frown as she waited for the grey-haired girl's reply hoping that she would say yes and join their group.

"Actually, that's the next event that I'm going to coincidentally. So I guess I can go with your group..."

Yuuki upon hearing this reverts her expression to a happy one once again.

"Oh... Is that so... So that's why you're in a hurry to finish a costume..." She lets out a sigh of relief.

'Did I just forgot to tell her that? But then again I already have a costume ready, all I'm doing right now is just preparing the one after it. Well Whatever.'

They finished eating and continued their shopping in Harajuku, they headed to a shop that was thirteen minutes away from Harajuku station somewhere on Takeshita street.

The said shop sold used designer clothing for both men and women, the first floor was packed with people meanwhile the second floor was nearly empty.

Yuuki who just spotted some clothing that she could use on a future costume told Honoka that she'll wait for her there.

Honoka who had already been sweating bullets due to multiple reasons just noded and went up the stairs which lead to the upper floor.

The second floor had clothing that someone would wear when they go outdoors during the winter.

Because of how easily it is to spot the boots because of it's colors; Honoka instantly found it as she got to that said floor.

"Finally... I thought I was gonna have to buy the expensive ones online instead..." She softly mumured with the boots in her grasp.

The boots were knee highs that were white in color, had a black outsole, yellow accents, and a fluffy-looking material which looked like fur along the liner of it.

She went straight back to the first floor as she found the boots as to not make any unnecessary purchases that she moght regret doing.

She found Yuuki who already had a shopping basket with her that had some skirts inside of it.

She turns to the direction of the stairs as she notices someone going down it.

"You found them already?"

Yuuki was surprised at how soon Honoka found them.

"Yeah, What about you? Are those the things that you needed to buy?"

"Yeah, I was thinking of buying some clothes to use for some costumes."

They walked over the cashier to pay for their items.

With Honoka now finished her purchase of the boots, she can now move on to gathering the materials for the costume itself.

They started to head back to the station after they finished paying up, with the two saying their goodbyes they got off at their seperate stations.

Honoka who just got out of Asakusa Station opened her parasol once again and started her walk towards her apartment.
