109 The Revelation

Yun braced herself as she saw the large beast flying at her, preparing to use all her strength to offset it's motion and protect herself. It saw her shifting weight and intelligently changed it's attack as well, bringing it's large jaws down above her head and, as she was quickly within it's mouth, biting down with a loud snap!

Yun was stunned. The air around her was moist, light was nearly completely gone from it, but she realized she wasn't in any kind of pain. Thinking of something, she tried to lift her hand and found that it really did travel right through this beast, proving that either she or it were completely incorporeal and that they could not affect each other physically.

"Get off me you moron. Did you not even notice yet?" Yun grumbled before she just stepped backwards three steps and, after exiting it's head, stared it right in the eyes. "Hey, big dummy, did you not realize we can't touch? I don't quite know where we are, but we're not dead. If we were both dead we'd be able to touch one another. This is something different."

Yun looked around as the Goldenflame Lynmurku grumbled some obscenities to itself before curling up dejectedly. Suddenly, she had a realization that she wasn't quite sure about yet, but she thought she might talk to this sour beast about it and figure out their situation anyways.

"Hey, what should this Yun be calling you? I'd hate to insult you by just calling you 'beast', or 'hey you'."

"Why should I tell my great name to such a small brat like you? You've used such underhanded means to trap me, call me what you want."

Yun thought for a few moments before she came up with something she felt was fitting, "How about we go with Dongruo Guanhou then? That seems like it fits well!"

All she heard from the beast was a harrumph as it continued trying to ignore her, which left her with a mischevious little grin. "Then I'll just call you Little Guanhou then. Little Guanhou, do you think that maybe the Heavens have chosen this for us? This Yun certainly didn't perform whatever that was just then."

The newly dubbed Guanhou looked dubiously at Yun, trying to measure whether he should believe a word she says. After a few moments of silent self-struggle he finally decided that, if they were going to be trapped here, he might as well speak with the little runt.

"This father will escape someday. For now this place seems to be quite rich in flame elemental energy, so I'll stay here and keep growing stronger for now. No reason to leave such a good place."

Yun rolled her eyes at this shameless statement. "Your eyes certainly tell a certain story to this Yun."

Looking at the face of the large beast in front of her Yun took some pity on it.

"If this Yun has guessed correctly you've been sealed within my Cultivation base, the Neidan, but for what purpose this one is totally at a loss. "

They both grew contemplative at this, thinking about their futures and trying to determine what to do about things right now. Yun was most concerned with how to end this strange vision and return to wakefulness rather than what to do with this situation right now.

As she thought over this conundrum she also thought over the fact that she now had a powerful beast cultivating in her Neidan. What sort of situation was this? Why had the Dao diagram appeared and locked him in her body? Yun was unsure of what the future held at this time, but she knew that she now had a guest locked within her cultivation base and this made her a little worried, she hadn't heard of such things happening before.
