4 The Talk

After talking with Garsam a little more, Ramon with a wave of his hand made the crystal ball, table, light balls and even the tent disappear amazing once again the little Garsam.

"This is just a spacial bracelet." Said him extending his arm so that Garsam could have a better look "When you become a mage, teacher will give one to you as well." Explained him with patience.

"Now that you are my junior apprentice brother, you will live in the room next to me and i will teach a few things during the travel until we reach the academy." Finished saying this to Garsam, he turned to to other students.

"Now you can go to your new rooms, the employees of the airship will guide you there." Said Ramon looking cold again.

"What new rooms sir Roman?, i like the room i'm currently, and my father is a official mage and and i want the best room of course!" Demanded one of the descendents of a mage family with his head high looking at the others like they are beneath him.

"Humph, of course the rooms now will change according to the talents you showed during the test, or do you think that just because you come from a family of mages you can do anything you want? before i didn't care how you divided yourselves but now that everyone is here and we are going to the academy then you better get used to be treated according to your abilities, and since none of you is a apprentice yet then the most talented ones get better treatment." Started explaining Roman the why new rooms assingments provoking quiet a few complains.

"I think some of you already heard this but i'm going to say again." After a pause to have all the students quiet down and pay attention again, then he pointed at the student that talked early and suddenly a icicle was shot at him pausing only a few inches from the eye of the student.

Terrified, the student backed away the triped in the others that were in the path, and when a nauseous smell spread in the room they realized that he had peed in his pants.

"The mage world is a cruel world and only those with power can make demands, not a spineless moron like you who only has a talent of 2, you probably won't even become a mage so consider this a warning, the next time i will kill you, and if your father complains i will kill him as well." Said Ramon sending a shiver in the spine of all the students here, realizing just now that even if he killed someone here nobody would complain or even avange them.

Even Garsam didn't expect this action from Ramon, he always treated him so nicely, but hearing what he said maybe thats just because he is the most talented here otherwise he would be treated the same way as the others.

'What a bunch of wastes... and i'm being nice since our academy is a white one, if were those lunatics of the dark academys, probably more than half of them would already be dead' Thought Ramon shaking his head in disappointment that with just a few harsh words and these kids already got scared.

But looking at his side again and remembering how talented his junior brother is he couldn't but smile again.

Now the terrfied students following the employees of the airship that were waiting for them at the doors soon emptied the room leaving only Ramon and a still shaken Garsam.

"Haha what a bunch of cowards." Laughed Ramons traying to sooth Garsam's feelings a bit.

"Although what i said is true, the mage world is also a fair one, so you don't have to worry right now, you aren't even an apprentice yet so how could you think about the entire mage world? when we arrive at the academy you will understand this better, so now come, let's go to your room." He said patting Garsam's head.

Picking his luggage and with the caring that Ramon showed Garsam's feeling calmed down quickly, then following him until the last floor of the airship, Garsam constantly looked around amazed at the rooms he passed.

"Humm... Sir Ramon, is such a big airship just for us students? it's so big!" Not being able to hold his curiosity anymore Garsam couldn't help but ask.

"No, no, no, Call me senior brother, did you forget that you are going to be apprenticed under my teacher? although he haven't accpeted you offically i already consider you my junior brother." Said Ramon correcting Garsam.

"And of course not, this airship is mostly used to transport the resources for the Blue Islands back to the academy that our branch collected over the years, and the students are only those that were lucky of being at a certain age to be accepted by the mais branch, our airship only comes here every 10 years after all." He replied, satisfaying Garsom's curiosity.

"Blue Islands? i lived in a island?" Asked Garsom, although he new that there was a sea nearby he didn't know that he lived in a island.

"That's right, the place where you lived is known as the Blue Islands and although being a place with a population of millions is still little when compared with the continent." Continue to explain him while leading Garsam upstais.

"The part of the continent where we humans live is maybe a thousand times more bigger than the Blue Islands if not more, and the territory of our academy although a little smaller than the Blue Islands, the concetration of mana there is higher and the resources are better, so the Blue Islands are just a place to buy a few commom materials and recruit the talented ones, and our branch there is managed by those that aren't able to advance anymore." Said Ramon about the true situation of the Blue Islands.

After a while they arrived in a luxurious room, that appeared to be a house since in it had everything, it was separeted in a few sections, being the them a kitchen, a dinner room, the bathroom, a study room and the bedroom and all of this with the best furnitures that Garsam remembered seeing in his short life.

"You will live here until we arrive at the academy, do you like it?" asked Ramon who couldn't help but like his new junior brother even more seeing the astonishing expression he was making.

"This! This room although not so big as my grandpa's mansion is even more luxurious, are you sure that i can live here?" Asked Garsam trying just to calculate just how much such a room costs.

"Of course! This may be good for mortals but we mages don't care too much about luxury, of course a few are exception, our concern is whether we can acquire more knowledge and advance on the path of a mage."

"So just rest here for now, you must be tired, we have still a month to arrive at the academy, until then i will teach a few more things and also teach you how to meditate." Said Ramon leaving him alone and walking to the room neighbor to Garsam's.
