9 Life 9: Monkey King Realm

Despite his willpower, Wukong' consciousness was beginning to become blurry and so. the blood flowing out from his chest dyed his whole body red, as he grunted in pain before finally losing consciousness.

Due to Wukong' tenacious will and his body strength he had survived however the Pterosaur had already died with its eyes hinted in anger and rage due to its unwillingness to die.

....

As Wukong had begun to fall down into a water stream from a waterfall, gradually in mid air his body became fragments of light before he seemingly disappeared into another dimension. And by the time it took to light up incense (15 Minutes) Wukong had woken up and found himself in a completely different area, as this was not the forest no this was a palace of some sort.

And then he saw that there were many tunnels leading to a platform inside the palace of some sort. And it seemed to be a spring called the "Lingquan" Spirit Spring. He knew the name of it as next to the spring was its name carved into the wall with fine and smooth strokes making out the characters.

Wukong saw: Emerald moss piled up in heaps of blue, White clouds like drifting jade, While the light flickered among wisps of coloured mist. A quiet house with peaceful windows,

Flowers growing on the smooth bench; And

exotic blooms were all around.

He then saw that on his left side was another few characters that said, "Shuiliandong" and underneath this was, the sentence, 'The Water Curtain Cave'.

Not knowing what any of this was, Wukong soon headed to the platform, of the "Lingquan" Spring and when he went there he immediately fell over into the spring as his body was currently devastated because of the fight he had earlier.

And when he fell into the water, miraculously all his wounds had healed and he could feel that deep down his body, his bones and muscles were changing; they were becoming stronger and strengthening into powerful pieces of bone and muscle.

And because of Shock Absorber he soon gained a massive power increase, that was complimented by building him stronger muscles and bones. Soon his bones had hardened as well as his muscles. And his tail had also turned a shade darker as it quickly wrapped around Wukong' waist like an obi.

And while his body was strengthening Wukong had also began to unconsciously circulate his Qi throughout his whole body, this state of his lasted two days, in which he was constantly fatigued and then healed over and over again.

With Wukong still not awake his Cultivation had increased by leaps and bounds; Wukong' Cultivation was now Grey Qi Realm Level 6, and his strength had gone from 8 Million Jin to 20 Million Jin meaning his strength was now 2 Countries, meaning his battle Power was now about 35.

Soon Wukong had woken up again, "My injuries have actually healed!?" Wukong said in a hypnotic daze as he looked at the bloody and tattered clothes he wore, he was certain that the fight with the Late Vlailosian Pterosaur was not a hallucination! However… the last thing he remembered was almost dying and then falling into a pool.

"Hmm, where is this place, what the hell am I doing in here?" Wukong surveyed his surroundings again.

"Ah, there's water!" Wukong' lips were already chapped, his throat was as dry as dust and swollen due to his extreme thirst. In the middle of this otherworldly landscape was actually a small spring of water!

And he remembered that he had fallen into this pool, and then he had blanked out. Soon he looked towards his body and found his Cultivation and strength had increased, he could also feel his bones were strengthened to extreme.

And soon he began to revel in this revelation, but only after he had drank enough water from the spring, it was as if he was starved for months on end with the way he drank the water, yet it was also a comedic sight, and when he had drank a lot of it, he saw that the water didn't seem to change or even show any fluctuations.

He felt that this whole week was filled with bizarre occurrences. Because now that he had come to his senses, he also discovered a weird looking tree, as well as a stone monument at the side of the spring. This stone monument had a height similar to a full grown human male (about 1.85 Metres) and had the girth of a giant tree.

The stone monument gave off a stately aura, just as if it was the emperor that held absolute authority in this otherworldly place, dictating the rules to his subjects. As Wukong walked in front of it, he saw that there were actually inscriptions on the stone monument! [Realm Of The Monkey King]… So this place was the realm of the Immortal Monkey King.

But deep in his mind Wukong began his thought upon this Legendary "Monkey King", as there was no such being or person within the history books or folklore, and believe me, in these years he had been studying extensively about the world in which he lived in, and nowhere was there a mention of a "Monkey King."

After that he had begun to ponder over where he actually was, as there was no exit to this reverend King's Realm, meaning this was a completely different dimension or a pocket dimension separate from the main Universe in which Wukong lived in.

Soon his eyes glimpsed upon the words "Sun Wukong" on the top of the stone monument written in big and bold letters and this character emanated our a mysterious aura drawing Wukong forward towards it.

Soon the Ability Extractors voice echoed within Wukong' head, and its voice was as emotionless as steel, as it echoed out its monotone almost robotic like voice within his head.

[The realm of the Monkey King only allows entry to the Incarnation of this Realms King. Other than the Monkey King, no other beings are allowed in here]

This made Wukong think hard, as he was wondering if no other beings are allowed then why am I even here, could it be I am truly this beings Incarnation and Successor, I mean it would explain a lot of things such as my tail and my other heightened senses.

Soon another bell had rang within his head and it said, [Host, here time is different to the outside world as 2 Hours in the outside world equal to 16 days within the Monkey King Realm] when he heard this he was truly excited, as it meant that one day in the outside world would be a hundred within this realm.

However the Extractors voice wasn't over yet,

[The tree near the spring needs Qi to mature, and once it has enough, it will produce 10 different fruits, each for different attributes or abilities to serve you upon your quest to become the Qitian Dasheng.]

The weird tree was roughly about 4m in height, with branches the thickness akin to a steel pillar from his previous world. Despite the branches of the Energy Enhancing Tree being extremely short in length, only about 2 foot long, they still looked strong and solid.

After a while he wondered how to get out of here, how could he return to the world outside?

Just at the precise moment he thought of exiting, he realized that he was already back in the mountainous region where he had been previously! It seems that the Monkey King Realm was already attuned to his will.

And after a few exit and enter thoughts, he found that with the slightest of hints his will would lead him back to the Monkey King Realm. What he didn't realise however was that after he had been submerged within the water for two days his already good looks, became even more handsome and the aura exuded could only said to be extraordinary.

Another thing he was happy about was that he didn't need to carry his backpack anymore it could be left in his Pocket Dimension. Soon he had exited the Realm and found the Pterosaurs dead body, and due to him being hungry he quickly wrapped some Qi around his arm in a knife like shape and began cutting the Dino meat into smaller pieces and he laid them out onto a pan he had gotten from his backpack.

And while chopping the meat he began to clean it up with the Lingquan Springs water, and the springs water was as if it was a natural seasoning that was how delicious it was within ones body. After that he slowly released his fire Qi and began to slowly permeate the dino meat with his fire Qi as to cook it properly, so that it wouldn't be raw within his mouth.

The aftermath of his first experiment in cooking resulted in the meat being either being too charred to be eaten or too raw. Only after experimenting a few times could he successfully barbecue a piece of meat that could barely be considered edible…

Heedless to the dangers of eating uncooked meat, Wukong began digging in with relish. After all, this was the first time he was roasting meat, Wukong ate the meal he prepared with gusto. After that battle with the Dino, and the discovery of the spatial realm, followed by the cooking of the carcass, the sun was already setting. The resplendent rays of light shined upon the whole region, dying the mountains with a golden glow. Especially for a few mountain peaks, the golden resplendent rays of light shining on them actually made them emit a sort of majestic presence

"Forget it, I shall go and cultivate inside the Realm of the Monkey King! With a time ratio of 100:1, I must abuse it to the maximum!" Now that he was calmer, he discovered that the Qi here was saturated with an abundance of thick spiritual energy, even more so than the world outside!" As the time passed, Wukong cultivated slowly without haste, whenever he was tired, he took a break. Whenever he was thirsty, he drank some water.

He went on like this, relentlessly practicing his cultivation like a crazed battle maniac, also he trained his Phantom Steps, Frost Fist, and the Frost Unparalleled Cultivation techniques continuously. After all, with a time ratio of 100:1, he wanted to abuse this effect to the maximum, if not it would be a waste.
