6 Life 6: Golden Sabre Blade Tiger

After another day had passed, Wukong could feel his strength increase, which was amazing. He felt full of energy as if he could do whatever he wanted.

And he also wanted to test his strength, as he knew his Battle Power was equal to a Grey Qi Realm Level 4, in strength, but he didn't know how he would actually fare within a life threatening battle.

When Lucia, had heard of his breakthrough, she wasn't really shocked as this breakthrough was considered normal, as normally after three months of continuous training, ones Qi would develop in quality and quantity.

But what truly shocked her, was Wukong' unequal way of levelling up, it seemed that whenever he levelled up, his strength was times by two for some reason. And also the fact that his body strength was amazing, normally only a Phantom Beast could cultivate its physique to the absolute peak.

But it seemed that Wukong could train both his body and mind. This was strange as normally until the Qi Cloak Realm, one wasn't able to strengthen their body with Qi, in Battle.

And before that Realm their Qi boosts were not perfect, and the Elves usually just used Energy attacks from afar with Some martial arts at the close hand battle.

Seeing how Wukong could seemingly skip levels in Cultivation she wanted to test his strength, and so she led him to the time dilation room.

This room, was amazing as it could simulate what was on the outside and condense it into actual firm, by using the Qi gathering Array.

And so what it would do is, gather Qi and shape it into the person or Phantom Beast one wanted to fight or experience against.

This item was common place within the world as everyone used it, and the array was simple enough to make, all one really needed was a room big enough to fight within, this was good as the colosseums, within countries were stopped, as people died fighting real beasts.

But within this room it gave damage and injuries that were serious but it could be stopped at any time limiting quite a lot of death.

"Well, Wukong are you sure you want to experience fighting against a monster on  Grey Qi Realm Level 4... I know that you have the same strength as a Level 4 Phantom Beast, But you know this is really risky. I mean it could lead to countless hidden injuries within your body affecting you later on in the future."

After Wukong had processed what his sister said, he replied, "... Sis I've told you countless times before, I will become stronger regardless of the method, and the reason I do this is because I wish to protect you, so that you suffer no hardships, remember I'm always here for you, and to make sure I keep my promise the only thing I can do is become stronger, stronger for you!"

After hearing this Lucia, didn't change in facial expressions and blush, as she had already accepted the young boy in her heart, and just said, "Sigh... Fine Wukong just make sure your fine and not injured, you can go into the room now.."

After she said that she opened up the door for young Wukong to enter, and inside the room all you could see was a storm turning into a random colour each second, as if to signify the land can become whatever it wants when it wants to.

After seeing this Wukong just "..Gulp.." and after that he entered the room in a frenzy, and when he did the rooms door shut directly and after that ceased to exist, and all Wukong could see was a forest of some sort that was boundless, filled with levelled trees far far away.

Soon in front of him the forest started to glitch out and in the glitched our place came out a Golden Sabre Blade Tiger! With a body that was 3 meters long, and a height of 2 meters, and Its whole body was releasing a murderous intent, and it was bursting with Savage might!

For the second time in his life Wukong was scared? After all this was the second time he was in a life or death situation, although he knew that his body had substantial strength, he didn't know if he could actually defeat this monster in front of him, and slowly he started to retreat backwards in fright and nervousness.

In the face of intense danger, many thoughts flashed past Wukong' mind. He could see his mother, his sister. He could also see his friends from the past from Avarice City, he could remember running around the vast green-lands playing tag, hide and seek and the lot.

This was it.. although he had already fought in a life and death situation before, Wukong knew that he had to be calm, he couldn't let the fear control him, but rather make use of this fear to increase the power of his strikes instead! Thinking of that, he hesitated no longer and executed the Frost Fists Technique that he had learnt from Lucia, while retreating backwards.

On one hand, he was within the Sabre Blades attack zone, and knew he would be injured but on the other hand he wanted to test his strength against this mighty beast, and see where he truly lies within this world, the bottom or the top!?!

"BANG!"

"BANG!!"

"BANG!!!"

Wukong' nearly flawless execution of the Frost Fists rapidly affected the beast 3 times with the Sabre Blade Tigers 2 muscular front legs, he even took the chance while the Tiger was distracted to deliver a strike onto its head. Wukong broke apart the exchange smiling, as he felt that he had done significant damage to the Blade Tiger!

The Blade Tiger also paused its attack momentarily to re-assess the Elf in front of him, never did the Tiger expect an Elven kid to appear in front of it, and even more incredulous, this Elven kid actually gave it a foreboding sense of danger. Therefore it decided to fight with Wukong.

After the initial blows of exchange between both man and beast, Wukong no longer felt any trepidation within his heart, alternatively, he actually felt like going all out to spar with the Tiger.

After this Wukong began to clench both his fists, and as if on cue his Extractor Qi slowly started to activate, And Wukong could feel that his energy was rapidly rising, he felt that the 3 strikes earlier executed by him in fear did not showcase his true strength! Now, after he had calmed down, he decided to unleash his full strength and test out where his true limits lied. After all, he could lose his life easily due to a moment of carelessness if he still held back within an actual fight.

After this the Tiger raised it's head high and roared, that roar seemed to encompass the defiance of the heavens, emanating a savage aura.

It could be that the Tiger had finally acknowledged Wukong as a worthy opponent, following which, the Tiger assumed it's battle form and expanded 1m longer and 2m taller in height .

"RAWRRR!"

After unleashing a deafening roar, the Tiger launched itself straight to Wukong, it's huge body was akin to a Mountain exerting tremendous pressure as it pounced over.

The Tiger then wrenched open its jaw that were filled with sharp and piercing canines, as if attempting to bite out Wukong' throat! At this moment, while the Tiger was pounding towards him, Wukong had regained his composure, and calmness, and then assessed his situation.

He can't go forwards as if he does he'll be hit directly, and he can't go backwards as he'll eventually hit the limit of the room, the only thing he can do right now is to move left or right, in order to counterattack.

Soon he had made his decision and in a split second leaped towards the Tigers right side near its stomach. And with full force, he launched out a single Frost Fist upon the Tigers right side. His right arm exploded forward with a burst of speed, cutting through the air with deadly sounds.

"... Whoosh!!"

"... FWOOSH!!!"

"... Crackk!!!"

"... RAAARGH!!"

Soon the Fist had connected and the sound of bone breaking accompanied by a roar filled with excruciating pain rang out.

Using his palms, Wukong then pushed himself against the Tiger, borrowing the strength of that push to retreat a distance away. The heavily injured Tiger was crouching on its front legs, as if it was begging for mercy, and it was staring fearfully at Wukong.

At this point his Extractor Qi was unendingly circulating inside him, Wukong felt that his limbs and muscles were incapable of mustering any force, even his body felt extremely relaxed and he felt comfortable to the point of being drowsy.

Just when Wukong had almost fallen asleep, a strange event took place! Wukong' was currently at the peak of the Grey Qi Realm Level 2, but at this moment, in this calm and fragile state, Wukong' Cultivation had broke through to the the 3rd Level!

Just then Wukong also examined his Energy Core, and he realised that the Frost Unparalleled Cultivation Technique had also reached the Grey Qi Realm 3rd level!

Wukong could vaguely feel that, after the integration of both the Frost Unparalleled Cultivation Technique and his Extractor Qi, he could feel that the Icy Blue Qi from his Frost Technique had intertwined with his Blood Red Qi from the Ability Extractor Powers he had.

And he could also sense that there was a slight difference in the Frost Unparalleled Technique that he was practicing as compared to his sister. But it was difficult to pinpoint where exactly the difference lies.

And when this happened Wukong could feel threads of warm and gentle Extractor Qi flowing and circulating throughout his entire body, swiftly it refined the toughness of his bones and Energy Core.

That strand of Qi after he broke through to the 3rd Level, had grown even thicker. And after undergoing this refinement process, Wukong could feel that his energy channels had expanded and grown thicker as a result, making his body capable of storing more Extractor Qi.

At this point Wukong had felt some elation in his heart. No wonder cultivators fought for real, it was only through the battle experiences gained from life and death battles that will result in the benefits one received was far greater than merely training alone.

"... Ding!!" Suddenly AE, had dinged as if to signify something, "Host due to your breakthrough to Grey Qi Realm Level 3, you have successfully unlocked a new ability from the AE Bloodline Abilities, the ability is called:

"Phantom Steps" it's a movement technique which allows the user to move fast. The skill level of Phantom Steps can be enhanced and improved through concentration, training, and mastery of it. Speed is the main factor of the technique, the method is best characterized by how fast one can get from point A to point B in the least amount of steps. Training and skill are what determines how fast a user of Phantom Steps can move.

And after this his presence had scared the Golden Sabre Blade Tiger, and soon after the Tiger meekly bowed its head before disappearing into particles of Qi going back to the Time Dilation Array, soon after the room was restored back to normal and the forest around him had vanished with only a doorway to exit outwards.

And slowly but steadily he made his way to the door, and "Clank" opened the door, and what waited for him outside was his sister, who had been watching his fight and breakthrough from the outside, and she had a worried frown on her face.

"... Sister I'm back" but before she replied she rushed past him and held him close to her chest, grabbing tightly on him as if she was afraid he would vanish at any moment.
