79 I'll Stab You Again!

A loud bang vibrated in the room. The little girl sat on a spiny chair, her fist was clenched on the table after hitting it. She gritted her teeth as she stared at the computer monitor.

It was all dark except for the screen that lit up her freckled face. Her green eyes were narrowed dangerously. She was furious.

Her rusty red hair swayed as she stood up and shifted her head towards the door. Her foot steps were light but swift, and before she fled the room, she lifted her hood to cover most of her face.

From her pocket she took out a cell phone. She took a deep breath before dialing. It only rang twice before the other end answered.

"You... don't you know what you've done?" She hissed in a whisper as she navigated the apartment building and headed towards the elevator.

"Ha-ha! How Lucky I am to get a call from the infamous Little Red!" The tone was jolly, yet the voice was smooth and deep.

"Don't play dumb, jack*ss."

"No, no. I really don't know what's wrong, could you tell me oh-wise-one?"

"I've made it very clear that 'Death Vendors' should never get involved with Asrael Nili! Haven't I?!" She was close to screaming, in fact  she even didn't even need to control her volume, since she was alone in the elevator.

"Little Red, you've never been so mean to me before! Have you forgotten our deal? If I remember correctly... you're not in any position to question me." The voice on the other end grew increasingly ominous and cold.

Her face flared up, and her already rosy cheeks burned with rage. She bit her bottom lip hard, almost drawing blood.

"In any case, we don't know if he'll agree to our offer. If you know about anything he cares about, you know who to contact." The other end sighed. "The only reason we never went after him is because you said he wasn't very low profile. As it turns out, he really knows how to clean up a crime scene. Say... do you know about-"

She cut the call before she could lose control and say something she shouldn't. That guy was a chatterbox if one let him talk. Damn! She didn't prepare anything before she left, but she had to hurry. She had time, but not enough to plan anything intricate, since it was on Saturday. She had to go to the town down south, before the party.

She couldn't believe it, they actually planned so meticulously! They weren't very lowkey about it either, a lot of the other organizations and companies dabbling in the black market and underground knew what was happening.

Asrael Nili- why did he have to go to school? He even killed someone there! Was his gang too boring? No, it was probably that man's fault. The Eternal Leader must have made him attend!

"Arh!" She had already left the appartment building as she kicked one of the buildings next to the sidewalk. It was made of bricks, and she barely affected it at all.

"Damn it, Asrael! You better not go to the party, or else I'll stab you again!" She spat the words, barely in a whisper.

Besides the hushed voices that lingered on the streets after seeing her out burst, no one thought too much about it.

Little Red had to have a plan, but she learned throughout the years that plans often never worked without background information. Unfortunately, she wouldn't know until the day it occurred where the party would take place.

Would she hop into this with no plan then? Of course not! Only, the plan would be vague. Get in. Get Asrael. Get out.

Obviously, there was more to the plan, but that was it in simple terms. After getting Asrael out of the party, she had to figure out a way to keep him from joining the organization. The best case scenario would be to confirm that he doesn't want to join.

She would have never guessed the real outcome of that day.
