BACK TO HOME !!

Rita was jerked awake when her phone buzzed with her favourite song ringing in it ...'ON MY WAY ' by Alan Walker feat. Sabrina Carpenter .

She groggily picked up her phone and without seeing the caller ID , she simply put in near her ear . Without warning , her head was blown by the earth shattering voice on the other side of the line .

"Rita , my dear , are you alright ?? i didn't get to hear from you yesterday and so I was so worried that I decided to call you today on my own to check on you . I thought you were ..."

"Grandpa ...wait a sec . I'm .. i was sleeping..."

Before Rita could complete her sentence , she heard another earth shattering squeal of excitement from her grandpa's side and she had to again put her phone at a distance for her ear's sake .

"Oh my dear !!! Who is the lucky one to sleep with you , my dear little Barbie doll . AHH!! Am I going to be great grandfather soon ??"

'ARGHH!!What the ...?? Grandpa could you be just some more sensible and not be so childish .' Rita thought as she fixed her hair in a flurry into a messy bun and sat upright on the bed .

"Grandpa...first of all , a very good morning from my side !! Secondly , I'm sorry to disrupt your sweet great grandchildren thoughts as I am still a novice in terms of love life . Thirdly , I'm all alone on my bed and in my room lies a pig sleeping with his face punched up on the couch . So sorry to disappoint you again for the nth time but I have still neither found a boyfriend , nor have I spent a one night - stand with anyone till yet and won't until my own wish appears ."

"..."

Hearing no reply other than a proper heavy sigh from the side of the line , Rita could sense a hint of disappointment in his sigh but nevertheless she heard her grandpa speaking again ,

" So my Rita ... I would now like to have you here at the mansion as soon as possible and take over the company . The company is ready for you and I know that you're more than ready for it . Come back soon and ya ..AHEM AHEM !!! I can understand the pig you are talking about . Don't bully that poor Noah boy ..he's such a good guy to have taken care of you since young and here you are , always bickering and fighting with him , making his handsome face a nuisance with your high punch . "

Rita chuckled and turned to look at the sleeping log on the couch who was half hanging from it , with a soft light in her eyes .

" I know grandpa !! Don't worry , you'll see me in a week right in front of you .After all , I too miss my favourite flower garden in the mansion ."

"OHOOO!! You have grown so big to not miss this old man , huhhh!!"

"Not at all , grandpa ..I miss you the most . Your laughs and your cute pouting face when I don't listen to you is still my favourite . So now after my promise to return right after 7 years is gonna come to a fulfillment . REST ASSURED ."

With this , both the grandfather and grand daughter laughed out loud over the phone and after some more talks , Rita hung up the phone .

She sighed as she remembered her promise but she brushed off those painful memories of her promise and the reason behind . She knew she had not yet curbed form the heartbreak but she wanted to now start her life anew and she was readily waiting for it .

She knew she now has to kick the sleeping log's ass to wake him up and then give him the breaking news of hers, returning her country home . She has to take all the sovinours and everything that she would end up to pack , she has to prepare so much .

She had missed her family so much but she had stuck to her promise of not returning to her home until 7 years were up and she was ready to take on the world ..all the more ready ..

THE TIME HAS COME ...

''WORLD ..I'M COMING BACK .'' Rita said out loud as she simultaneously kicked the sleeping log and ushered him to wash up as she was about to break the news to him .And she could already imagine his reaction .
