Humiliation

After Leonard trained himself with the two techniques he made, he went ahead and used Shadow Arts in the noon to spy on his stepmother. 

He was disgusted. The woman would nitpick many things and blame the maids that are around her. 

It's like your typical villainess. 

'Now that I think about it, Walter would seduce several villainesses too, wouldn't he?'

Leonard sighed inwardly, the Protagonist must have it nice. But he doesn't want to be one due to the amount of random life and death situations he always manages to be in. 

'While being the third-rate villain would just get face slapped and being a punching bag huh?'

"Tsk! All of you are useless! Marie!"

Elizabeth clicked her tongue and her face displayed annoyance and irritation. She called her Maid, Marie. The only thing Leonard knows about this maid is that she was from the Imperial Palace. 

'hmmm…'

"I'm going to that Basement."

When Leonard heard the word Basement, his face couldn't help but make a grin. If he captured this on camera he would undoubtedly have evidence that could throw Elizabeth out of the duchy. 

He thought it would be the best, after all this woman was nothing better in the first run, she was just pure scum that the original Leonard's temperament was understandable. 

"Yes, Madam…" 

The maid bowed and left just to come back with a familiar Ruby, this caused Leonard's eyelids to narrow. 

When the maid gave Ruby to Elizabeth, She smiled wickedly and was in Joy. 

"The moment that bitch died she still gave me two headaches. Why didn't she just die quietly?"

Somehow that irked Leonard but held it in. This woman was despicable but wanted to put her down with evidence, not a beating. 

When Elizabeth started walking away, her footsteps somehow got faster and faster. Seemingly excited about what she is about to do. 

Leonard was filled with rage but still held it in, if he ever leaked the amount of killing intent he had then they might stop their track completely removing the chance of him gathering evidence. 

He had to be patient, he thought. 

Leonard carefully watched Elizabeth and the maid walk through the same wall that he dug a hole into. 

He watched as the ruby that Elizabeth told the maid to get started reacting to the wall. And the next second the hollow wall became transparent to the point of non-existence. 

'So that's how.' Leonard nodded his head. 

However before they could enter, Richard spoke with a low tone of indifference. 

"Are you there to make her life difficult again?"

"...cmon Richard you agreed to this." Elizabeth sneered. 

"I didn't, I was blackmailed to do so."

"What's the difference—"

"Should you kill her, Elizabeth. You'll see why those guards sent by the Imperial Palace would rather stay outside this duchy." Richard Said in a threatening tone. 

"Tsk! Why do you even love that bitch more than me?!"

Elizabeth protested that as an imperial princess was very beautiful. But she grew too pampered and anyone who sees her beauty would just take it at face value. 

"You need to look in the mirror, such looks are wasted on you."

Whilst Richard was taking in Elizabeth's unreasonable babble, Leonard could see that his father was hiding some medicinal paste. 

'No way, Is he planning to use that on Lorraine?'

Leonard is relieved, knowing his father cared for his younger sibling. He now fully knows that Richard isn't there to do something wrong towards Lorraine, it's just this bitch, Elizabeth, that does those things. 

Elizabeth just clicked her lounge and with stomping noises, rushed down the basement seemingly more eager to punish a defenseless child. 

Richard, however, just stayed behind with an uneasy look. But Leonard's attention suddenly was taken away by a blue screen.

Description: Save Leonard's little sister named Lorraine, his Step Mother named Elizabeth was taking away Lorraine's life bit by bit, and Richard, Leonard's father cannot do anything due to blackmail. 

Find a way to put the Petty villainess in place in the most villainous fashion you could muster.

Leonard's eyes widened, fascinatingly enough, the reward of the mission is quite big. A bloodline suppressor pill is about 3,500 points and that only lasts for 6 months. 

And for the system to reward him with a bloodline suppressing pill that has permanent effects, is just priceless!

But he doesn't need his bloodline suppressed. His fairy blood only allowed him to read into people's negative thoughts. 

Then he realized, his fairy blood doesn't need to be suppressed, Lorraine does. Leonard was aware of the problem that was going to happen and it was the legal court. He has the evidence but the problem is his father, whose legal wife is a fairy. 

"Hmm… nice… nice…"

Leonard also has 900 points from the previous interaction. With 2,500 points he could as well use some bloodline suppressing pill. 

The system mission only said "put the villainess in place" not to execute her. So Leonard, with the advantages in front of him, completely ignored the disadvantages lurking behind him.

Elizabeth stomped with bloodshot eyes, she was currently fuming with anger, as if there was steam escaping from her seven orifices. 

She huffed and puffed till she was second to the last cell on the left hall. She gazed at the child trembling on her blanket, she could care less how young this child is. 

'How dare he! How dare he!'

Ever since Elizabeth was young, as the princess of the Empire she was pampered. Due to this she solely believed that she could have everything, the modern world didn't bother her. 

Her viewpoint was so petty and childish that it didn't leave her till she was old enough to be a mother. When he looked at Richard when she was only a teenager she fell in love at first sight. 

Richard's brown hair appealed to her, his Sharp gaze is something a woman avoided yet couldn't help keep coming back for, his jawlines and stubble bear made him look better. 

Elizabeth thought that Richard would like her back, after all, who would reject a beauty and especially a princess of high status?

She believed that till she learned Richard had a lover. 

She couldn't accept it. She tried different methods for her love to be reciprocated back. When nothing worked she tried the law. 

Saying that in imperial times thousands of years ago, duchies could have concubines. 

But Richard, Even though Elizabeth was most vehement about having her love accepted, adamantly refused to bend to give Elizabeth what she wanted. 

He was Loyal, he was frugal, and he was content. 

But Elizabeth was Childish, Extravagant, and flamboyant. She was never satisfied and never knew when enough was enough. 

Till she finally knew Richard's lover's secret. She was a fairy. When she was trying to use the law for her love to reach Richard she studied the law. 

She knew that there are several stupid laws made by tyrants of history, even though the Empire was prosperous its history is by no means clean. 

She knew that mingling with the Fairy folk was illegal at the year 870 of the Imperial calendar and it hasn't been removed till to this day. 

So when she found out, she blackmailed Richard so hard that Richard had no choice but to bend. 

It was finally Elizabeth's victory till she realized she was too late. Richard's lover was already giving birth to her second child. 

Elizabeth was already an adult and her pursuit stretched for far too long. Maybe Richard was careless, that's why his lover's secret was revealed. 

The worst part for Elizabeth was that she was still the concubine and still hadn't taken the Legal wife's seat. 

Richard was dragging the reason why he couldn't put her in that seat, due to this she was furious. When Richard's lover finally gave birth she made a basement, using the material to blackmail Richard and she was adamant about it. 

She also made Richard's lover drink poison if she wanted her children to live, and the worst part? 

She made Leonard see it, and blame it on him why his mother died. He was only 6 years old at that time as well. 

So it took such a large chunk of Leonard's sanity, to think he was the reason that his mother died. What kind of a child would take it?

Not only that, Elizabeth stained Leonard's innocence and made him into a spoiled brat as well. This made Elizabeth laugh too. 

And the second child she always had called bitch was born she didn't even hesitate, she started by cutting the tongue of the baby to make it illiterate and used some high-end potion so it wouldn't die. 

She was just pure evil in the disguise of a beautiful woman. And since Laws are strict in the Empire she knew she could get away with such a thing. 

Royals are higher than nobles. Her testimony is the priority and being a woman made the public opinion to her side. 

Elizabeth looked at the trembling child, Lorraine managed to learned swear words from Elizabeth but Elizabeth always hits her whenever she hears Lorraine swear, she thinks that the child is mocking her. 

It is quite petty but the reason Elizabeth placed her in the basement was simple. 

"You just look like that bitch of a mother of yours!"

The maid opened the jail cell and Lorraine started crying, her tears turning to diamonds the moment they fell off her malnourished cheek. 

"Waahhh! Bwother! Bwother!!"

Lorraine called her brother, but to her dismay, nobody came. 

—slap!

Lorraine was slapped. She was confused about why but this always had happened, she was hurt, and a man heals her wounds then it repeats. 

Only Leonard broke that cycle and Lorraine was desperate to have that cycle broken. 

"Brother!? Are you stupid?!" Elizabeth scoffed. 

"Maybe. Maybe she is."

When Elizabeth was letting her stress and unreasonable anger out of Lorraine, Leonard was standing behind the maid with a camera whipped out and recording. 

"What do you have to say for yourself, Elizabeth Vinstead?"

((the Imperial founder in the last chapters was a mistake, it's Vinstead it just got autocorrected Xd

The Maid scurried and tried to block the camera, She didn't know how Leonard came here undetected but that doesn't matter as long the camera was taken nothing would be proven!

But Leonard did something unexpected by throwing the camera behind him and the camera just phased through the floor by his shadow. 

"N-no way!"

"Shadow Arts ain't it cool?"

"Bwother! Bwother!"

Lorraine passed by Elizabeth, Elizabeth tried to grab ahold of Lorraine before she passed through the cell. But her unexpected dash caught her off guard. 

The maid tried to close the cell but instead was pushed inside and her balance was off by being pushed by Leonard. 

In the end, Lorraine escaped her cold cell, and Elizabeth and her maid were closed inside, as Leonard slammed the jail door loudly. 

"Tsk tsk tsk."

"Leonard you brat! Open this cell this instant!"

Elizabeth screamed angrily at Leonard. 

"Baby… sorry you have to get hit in the cheek"

Lorraine was crying diamonds and it could probably replace the floor, she was sniffing her snot as the pure trauma placed in the same room as Elizabeth terrified her to death. 

"Bwother… bwother… "

Lorraine hugged Leonard's chest, she only saw comfort with Leonard, and finding him here brought her relief, whilst Elizabeth was screaming like a banshee, Lorraine fainted in Leonard's arms. 

"You're already 29 years old and still act like you're 12 Elizabeth?"

His performance has just begun.
