2 Chapter 2

"I'm Camilla, sorry for bumping into you, I'm the klutz who should watch my way" I apologized and i stare at him knowing that his features are really familiar,i mean the green eyes, the pointed nose, the chiseled jaw. he's a perfect being just like the rest of us but his perfection feels familiar like I've seen it before.

"You didn't let me finish my introduction, I'm Erik Morrin". The moment those word left his mouth, it clicked to me, he's the only son of the governor of our society. I knew I'd seen him before. "I'm really sorry for bumping into you sir" i say as i keep staring into his eyes, something about him just makes it right for me to keep on staring I want to stop, I need to stop but I can't pull away. he notices this too and just chuckles, two strangers in the lobby of the government, what could possibly go wrong.

"Ah Erik, there you are my boy" I notice his father coming from the elevator. It's my time to disappear. i just walk away and head on straight to my office. It is a weird kind of feeling what happened out in the lobby, something i don't understand and can't seem to figure it out. I hate when things like this bother me.

Hitting the button for the 7th floor, i patiently wait till the elevator takes me to my workspace. " *DING* I hop out and head over to my desk. I'm not needed here today but i couldn't possibly stay in the house and do nothing.

"Hey Camilla, what are you doing here?" my friend Ashley asks as she makes her way over with Julie after they notice me.

"Well, I couldn't bear staying in that house all by myself, so i decided to come over" i told them while doing a very awkward dance

" Are you scared of being alone" Julie said in her wonderful British accent. I have to say, you'd think British girls are stuck up princesses but Julie proves otherwise.

"Nah, I was just feeling hyper and i needed the distraction hence the reason why I graced you ladies with my presence"

"Oh we thank you, your eminence" Ashley said while Julie looked like she wanted to burst open.

"Enough with the messing around, the strangest thing happened on my way up here and i don't know what it could possibly be"

"Well tell us, what happened?" Ashley inquired, Julie just looked basic but you could see the look of interest in her eyes.

"I bumped into the sun of the governor and i have to say, it's not everyday that happens, and it felt weird, like it was just two of us in the room and i felt some sort of pull towards him"

"You know, you did say, your chip was giving you problems,maybe that's why you felt that way, it could be a defect" Julie said and Ashley agreed

"I had Isabelle check it out for me before she left for work and she said i just let water get onto it and she fixed it, so no defect"

"Well, whatever it is, you better figure it out" Ashley said

"yes,yes i have to"mumbling the last part to myself.

"Well ladies, you've got work to do and I came here to not work, so if you'll both excuse me, is hall be on my way" i told them both while bowing out gracefully.

I make my way to the elevator, get in it and I pushed the button for the 25th floor, the green house. I get in and after about two minutes, i reach my destination and get off into the green house. This is my favorite place in the entire, building it's so full of life, it relaxes me, and it has so much beautiful flowers. I greet the keeper of the greenhouse, and i make my way to the section of Roses. Something about the way all the roses are arranged that just makes me feel happy and calm, it is arranged in series of Red, White and Yellow, now forming different types of pattern, some in a spiral, some just in zig-zags and the rest just flow all around. I admire the lilies and the other kinds of flowers whose name i still don't know.

I move to the bench in the green house, it is in the corner and it gives a proper view of the entire place from there, making you see all the flowers and the colors like a true work of art which i must say is. I notice that someone is in my spot and that is usually strange because no one ever comes here much apart from me. Out of curiosity, i go check it out and to my surprise, i see him again Erik Morrin. "It's you again" I blurt out without thinking

"Oh Camilla from the lobby right"

"Yes, yes I am"

Those weird feelings from before start to rush back again and this time more intense, i notice him more properly and clearer now, his green eyes have specks of gold that reflect off of the rays of the sun, if you don't look close enough, you wouldn't see it. His chiseled jaw stands out more defined and his nose, everything i saw about him the first time now comes out a lot more and looks properly defined. The way his body hugs his uniform, I realize that he works out and i notice that pretty boy is also staring at me with the exact same intensity.

"What the hell is happening to me?" I ask without thinking about the almost looking Greek god in my presence

"You feel it too" he says

"Feel what, what am i supposed to feel, if i don't know what it is"

"You feel something at least" this time he says it with more desperation in his voice

"Yes, at first it was in the lobby and now here, except here it's more stronger and a lot more intense,like a force" i tell him

"Do you think our chips are defective?" he asked

"Mine no, yours maybe, because i just had it checked this morning"

"Well then, let's go find out what this is"
